This thesis deals with the key ideas of the popular education concept of Professor Tomáš Trnka, who is considered to be a leading theorist of popular education in the interwar Czechoslovakia, and who has significant merits in the gradual constitution of andragogy as an independent scientific discipline. The main focus of the thesis is on the analysis of his key publications The Basics of Popular Education (published in 1934) and Popular Education, its theory, components, methods and organization (published in 1946). The text aims to provide a comprehensive overview of Trnka's work in the field of popular education, with regards to relevant andragogical and historical contexts. The thesis also contains a critical evaluation of Trnka's work and a reflection of its development in the following historical periods. The subject of the diploma thesis is a project of Centre for Prevention and an extension of the Clinic of Radiational oncology on the edge of Masaryk Memorial Cancer Institute in Brno. The project completes pavilions composition. It responses to the future development designed in nearest surrounding. The project creates a new public space with a view towards Brno and the Pálava area. The project also proposes a sequential building – the Prevention centre at first and the Proton centre later.

This diploma project is a design for a Cancer Prevention Center and an extension of the Department of Radiation Oncology of the Masaryk Institute of Oncology in Brno. There are no adequate spatial reserves in the existing hospital campus, or inside its buildings. New technology and modernisation require increased capacity of the Masaryk Institute of Oncology and improvement of the area by new development offering services like cancer prevention or proton therapy facilities.

A project deals with a proposal of a new cancer-prevention centre located at the Masaryk Memorial Cancer Institute in Brno. The design proposal includes the cancer prevention centre itself with outpatients’ department, inpatient ward department, adjacent commercial and administrative programme and with a proton therapy centre.

The objective of this thesis is to design a new Center for Prevention and enlargement of Clinic of Radiation Oncology of Masaryk Memorial Oncology Institute in Brno. The building will consist of the center for prevention itself, the inpatient department for mobile patients, the proton therapy center, and a space for rent. The Center for Prevention will, on top of expert medical procedures, provide spaces for patient counseling, education of both professional and general public and administration for a commercial oncology prevention program.

Major case of this project is design of new headquarters of Czech Grand prix in Brno. As an design I worked with car aerodynamic design and technology. With ideas of speed, hi technology etc. was designed whole project.

The diploma thesis deals with the media image of the Grand Prix of the Czech Republic in the Czech Radio in years from 1930 to 2019. The fixture is one of the most important sports events in the country and the public radio has been informing listeners about it since the first year of the Czech GP holding. In its beginnings, the race found its place in the magazine Týdeník Rozhlas, which was also interested in technical background during GP. Based on the preserved articles from the magazine Týdeník Rozhlas, audio recordings from the Czech Radio, and Masaryk Circuit's chronicle, the thesis describes the history of the Grand Prix of the Czech Republic from the public broadcasting perspective. It examines how the radio informs its listeners about the races and how much space it gives to the motorcycle world championship in broadcast. or what topics reporters choose in connection with the races. The quotes from the interviews with a photographer Tomáš Gescheidt, a head of the Czech Radio motorcycle section Luděk Hubáček, and with a track commissioner Jaroslav Pešek are included in the thesis. The methodological part of the research covers the method of qualitative and quantitative content analysis and historical method. The conclusion of this thesis is analytical and presents the results.

The aim of the diploma thesis is the location and design of buildings extending the Masaryk Oncology Institute with a ward for mobile patients and a cancer prevention center together with the extension of the spectrum of the radiation clinic with proton irradiation. The proposal envisages the use of the southern slope of the area bounded by Tomešova and Roubalova streets, while a new use of the area is planned according to the new master plan of the City of Brno.

The aim of this thesis is to determine a position and a design for a Preventive Care Center at the Masaryk Memorial Cancer Institute in Brno (MOÚ) as well as to expand the existing Clinic of Radiation Oncology building at the same premises. The plot of land is located at a South-facing slope of Žlutý kopec, with the MOÚ land being enclosed by the Roubalova and Tomešova street. At the land, there are two buildings currently not in use which used to house a regional blood transfusion center coupled with a main building of the town library. The Preventive Care Center concept includes an inpatient ward for mobile patients, medical staff facilities, a proton therapy center, and space for rent. The design of the Preventive Care Center and its immediate surroundings should promote a pleasant and welcoming environment which could serve as a sanctuary area for health protection and prevention. This paper follows from the traffic solution and the development planned for the surrounding municipal premises based on the future Brno spatial plan and subsequent spatial and regulatory studies of newly planned residential area on the southern slopes of Žlutý kopec.

Diplomová práce zpracovává komplexní návrh nového Centra prevence rakoviny v areálu Masarykova onkologického ústavu na Žlutém kopci v Brně. První stavba svého druhu v České republice doplňuje současnou zástavbu nemocničního areálu. Koncepce navrženého souboru budov se zaměřuje na kontakt hranice nemocničního areálu s nově vznikající obytnou čtvrtí v této lokalitě. Návrh obsahuje jak samotné centrum prevence, lůžkové oddělení nebo protonové centrum, tak pronajímatelné prostory pro další služby široké veřejnosti.
