Polyfunkční dům / Multifunctional Building

The subject of this master’s thesis is elaboration of project documentation for a multi-functional building according to the actual standards and norms given by law. The object has four floor above the ground and one floor partly below ground level with nine flats and two commercial premises. Residential part and commercial premises are separated from each other operationally independent and accessible main entrances. The basisc are made from contrete strips. The house is made by a brick technology of a ceramic blocks. The external walls are insulated with certified contact thermal insulation system. The building is roofed with warm flat roof.

Vertical structures are designed from the structural system of ceramic bricks and a monolithic columns. Horizontal structures are designed from the monolithic ceiling slabs. The Master´s thesis subject is a design and an estimation of the load-bearing structure of a multi-storeyed building. The structure has a miscellaneous ground-plan shape consisting of three rectangular tracts and it is placed in the building basement under the ground level. The load-bearing structure involves walls and a floor slab which rises up vertically closer to the ground level in the central tract. Among further components being solved belong stairs, basement slab and beam. The load-bearing structure is solved monolithically as steel concrete component.

The building is covered with a flat roof. The supporting structure is designed prefabricated reinforced concrete frame. Infill walls are made of clay blocks Porotherm. The house is insulated contact system ETICS. The thesis contains a static layout, fire safety, energy saving and safety in use. Drawings were processed with software for design - ArchiCAD.
