The interest in investigating this object was born questioning the researcher as to the socio-historical and economic reality that involves the most different markets related to the issue of legalized substances and also those still held under the jurisdiction of illegality and its correlation with the print media. These, as different expressions of social issues encompass the most diverse ideologies, markets, cultural heritages and discussions related to collective spectrum which engenders cyclical reality of drugs interpreted as a health problem. While working in the media and social worker, the author gives the research a motto or social portrait of everyday criticism practice and / or advertising relating to the consumer market, the print media publishes and discusses related to drug addiction, in Goiás, reality covering the rest of the globalized world. / Esta exposição de pesquisa bibliográfica e documental tem por objeto Racionalidade formal-abstrata e irracionalismo: mídia impressa e drogadição, umas das expressões da questão social em Goiás. Trata-se de um trabalho cujo período histórico temporal abarca os anos de 2013 a 2015, e busca descobrir as razões econômicas, políticas e socioculturais determinadas pela trajetória capitalista contemporânea, impulsionadora desta relação dialética de conflito relacionado à saúde. O interesse por investigar este objeto nasceu do questionamento do pesquisador quanto à realidade sócio-histórica e econômica que envolve os mais diferenciados mercados relacionados à questão das substâncias legalizadas e também aquelas ainda mantidas sob a jurisdição da ilegalidade e sua correlação com a mídia impressa. Estas, enquanto expressões diversas da questão social abarcam as mais diferentes ideologias, mercados, heranças culturais e discussões ligadas ao espectro coletivo o qual engendra a realidade conjuntural das drogas interpretada como problema de saúde. Enquanto trabalhador na comunicação social e assistente social, o autor dá à investigação um mote ou retrato social da prática cotidiana da crítica e/ou propaganda relacionadas ao mercado consumidor, o que a mídia impressa publica e problematiza referente à dependência química, em Goiás, realidade que abrange o resto do mundo globalizado.
