The diploma thesis deals with the capability assessment of an optical coordinate measuring machine according to VDA 5. The capability assessment is an effective tool for deciding whether the evaluated measuring machine is capable for the intended use and under which conditions its use is possible. The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to the analysis of coordinate measuring machines, with a closer focus on a subset of optical measuring machines and the analysis of their capability assessment procedures. In the practical part of the thesis, the selected procedure is applied on the specific measuring machine Micro-Vu Sol 311. The main contribution of this thesis is a description of the possibilities of the considered coordinate measuring machine for its further use in the educational process at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of Brno University of Technology.

This final thesis is dealing with stating uncertainty of optical measuring device Micro-Vu Sol 311, which is located at Faculty of mechanical engineering in Brno. Overview of coordinate measuring machines (CMM for short) and analyzed present status of optical CMM is in summation. This part also includes basic metrology concepts and methodology of determination of uncertainty of measuring instrument. Content of following parts of thesis is detailed description of Micro-Vu SOL 311 machine and etalons that were used in determination of enhanced uncertainty of measurement such as gage blocks, laser interferometer and glass scale. Last part of this thesis includes summary of achieved results and recommendations for practice.

Nekonvenční metody měření proudu a napětí / Non-standard methods of current and voltage measurementsTalába, Michal January 2017 (has links)
This work brings a study about non-conventional methods of voltage and current measurement, followed by a creation of magneto-resistive material based current sensor prototype, suitable for medium voltage switchgear from ABB. Outcome of the study is description of physical principle and the measurement principle of non-conventional methods. Outcome of the experimental part is a current sensor based on magneto-resistive component, which can measure magnetic field generated around a wire with flowing primary current. Through the magnetic field, the sensor can measure primary current flowing in the wire. Sensor was measured in range 0 – 1000 A, and its accuracy and linearity was approximately 6%. The main contribution of this work is the confirmation that this non-conventional method works for measurement of high currents. Based on the outcome, ABB can decide whether is this technology suitable for its product portfolio.

Vďaka ich vysokej verzatilite a nízkej priestorovej náročnosti sú metapovrchy sľubným nasledovníkom tradičných optických komponentov. Táto práca sa upriamuje na metapovrchy, ktoré môžu nahradiť polvlnné doštičky a difraktívne deliče zväzku. Práca prezentuje dve stratégie výroby nanoštruktúr z oxidu titaničitého s vysokým pomerom strán -- jedna používa reaktívne iónové leptanie vrstvy TiO2 skrz kovovú masku, kým druhá používa štrukturovaný elektrónový rezist ako formu pre depozíciu atomárnych vrstiev TiO2. V závere práce sú charakterizované a analyzované optické vlastnosti vyrobených štruktúr, predovšetkým ich fázový posun a transmisivita.

Tri návrhy riešenia boli sústredené na dokončovaciu operáciu diery 30 H7, z ktorých dva boli priamo odtestované vo firme. Jedna z nich bola návrh a realizácia nového vyvrtávacieho nástroja firmou Ham-Final , ktorá priniesla zníženie nákladov o dve tretiny.

Systém vyhodnocování pro stopový detektor v pevné fázi / Measurement System for Etched Track DetectorGalbavý, Juraj January 2017 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to design an algorithm for an automatic track counting of an image of etched track detector made of CR-39 polymer. Tracks are produced by alpha particles. Chemically etched detector is imaged using a microscope resulting in 64 images of segments on the surface of the detector. Circle shaped tracks in the images have to be detected and counted. This thesis evaluates the utilization of circle hough transform for circle detection. The final software should automate a detector track counting and should also account for defects in the image and contamination of detector surface. The software will produce a measurement report with a total track count in each segment.

The aim of this diploma thesis is to specify the displacement and deformations of the railway tracks axis on bridge structures in cities of Zábřeh na Moravě and Břeclav. The bridge structures covered have great dilatation distances, therefore it is necessary to monitor the movements of the railway tracks depending on climatic conditions. GPS methods have been used throughout the whole measurement and data processing. The result includes also a comparison of GPS and conventional methods. The result of the thesis is a detection of proven displacements. One of the goals of the thesis is the comparison of the displacements and the accuracy using the method chosen by author of the thesis and using classical geodetic methods.

This diploma thesis deals with application of robotic total station for crane tracks measuring. To determinate straight of rail tracks was used system of automatic target recognition. One crane track was measured by two methods. Horizontal deviation from straight direction was determinated directly by the method “line of sight” and indirectly using measuring angles and lengths. To determinate height continuance was used engineering and trigonometric leveling. The results of measuring proved, that reached deviations between methods are minimal, so we consider them as equal. System system of automatic target recognition reliably and with sufficient accuracy aims to the prism-centre.

The subject of this thesis is comparation methods of measuring elevation of experimental points on the network site Tetčice. There was mutually comparated height differences , which were mesured with methods of precise leveling, trigonometric method and fast static GPS measurment method. It was experimentaly used Sanchez method to reduce the effects of refraction measured at zenith angles. In the area of interest was used the method of interpolation to height calculation of point Bučín in elevation system Bpv, calculated from quasi-geoid heights on the surrounding leveling points.
