Este projeto pretende analisar a produção humorística de Millôr Fernandes na revista Veja entre os anos de 1968 e 1982. A partir da interpretação desse material, apontar novos subsídios para futuras pesquisas sobre humor e história cultural durante a última ditadura brasileira. / This project aims to analyze the humorous production of Millôr Fernandes in Veja magazine between 1968 and 1982. The proposal is from the interpretation of this material to point new subsidies for future research on humor and cultural history during the last Brazilian dictatorship.

Este projeto pretende analisar a produção humorística de Millôr Fernandes na revista Veja entre os anos de 1968 e 1982. A partir da interpretação desse material, apontar novos subsídios para futuras pesquisas sobre humor e história cultural durante a última ditadura brasileira. / This project aims to analyze the humorous production of Millôr Fernandes in Veja magazine between 1968 and 1982. The proposal is from the interpretation of this material to point new subsidies for future research on humor and cultural history during the last Brazilian dictatorship.

Este trabalho tem o objetivo de realizar uma pesquisa em torno da dramaturgia de Millôr Fernandes, tendo como foco principal de análise a observação da construção do humor em três de suas peças: Um elefante no caos, É... e Os Órfãos de Jânio. As peças escolhidas exploram variados mecanismos de comicidade e humor, que vão de recursos farsescos a refinadas ironias. A análise dos recursos humorísticos estará associada ao exame da relação entre o humor e a exploração dos temas abordados nas peças. A partir desta associação, verificamos de que forma o humor colabora na construção dos sentidos e reflexões trazidos em cada um dos textos. Junto das análises, abordamos também algumas particularidades de sua produção dramatúrgica, como a presença do autor através de seus prefácios e rubricas, seu interesse e aptidão na composição de peças escritas a partir de colagens de outros textos e a melancolia que se esconde por trás de suas comédias. Além disto, avaliamos como se deu a presença de Millôr Fernandes dentro do contexto teatral brasileiro, especialmente durante as décadas em que o autor escreveu as peças analisadas neste trabalho. / This work aims to conduct a research on the dramaturgy of Millor Fernandes, being its main focus of analysis the observation of humor and wit construction in three of his plays: An elephant in the chaos, Its... and The Orphans of Jânio. The chosen plays explore various mechanisms of comedy and humor, ranging from farcical features to refined irony. The analysis of humor techniques will be associated with the examination of the relationship between humor and the themes worked in the plays. Considering this association, we see how humor works in the construction of the meanings and reflections brought by each of the texts. Besides such analysis, we also address some particularities of his dramatic production, as the presence of the author through his prefaces and stage directions, his interest and aptitude in the composition of plays written from collages of other texts and the melancholy that lurks behind his comedies. Furthermore, we evaluated how the presence of Millor Fernandes developed in the Brazilian theatrical context, especially during the decades in which the author wrote the plays analyzed in this work.
