This master thesis focuses on the agile methods description and their use in creating of company strategic material. The main part of this thesis consist of the SCRUM and Kanban method. The work contribution is an optimization of the document creation process. The solution proposed is implemented through the MS SharePoint server with mind mapping module and Kanban board module. Thanks to this solution, company project can be managed in a more effective, faster and higher quality way.

This master thesis introduces term time management and describes steps for its successful implementation to our practical life. The aim of this thesis is to describe students´of University of Economics knowledge of this term and found out if study on this university and mainly passing course Management of Personal Development can expand their knowledge of this term. Mind mapping is used to deal with this aim. These mind maps ilustrate what students ideas about this term are. From the mind maps´ analysis arise that students of this university know time management very well, however passing the Management of Personal Development can highly expand this knowledge.

The theoretical basis of this thesis explains the terms closely associated with the management and managerial skills. Introductory part relates to approach the concept itself and the executive management, we are further broken down managerial functions, which are continuously illuminates to describe other skills, such as communication, goal setting, skills and coaching. The main point is to approach the concepts of soft and hard skills that managers should possess, or which should in the course of his practice to learn. Only by careful control of both of these groups of skills can lead to good organization. For a clearer explanation of the managerial skills included graphic view, which approximates the distribution of skills. In the second part, a practical part, described the situation with the existing skills of managers in the selected company. Thanks to the questionnaire, it is possible to measure the current level of acquired skills of managers at three levels and can be evaluated, what is the interest of improving individual skills, or whether managers feel sufficiently qualified for their job positions.

Fenomén života v rámci estetické zkušenosti přírody / The Phenomenon of Life within the Aesthetic Experience of Nature

The Verity in the Aesthetic Appreciation of Nature by A. Carlson and R. W. Hepburn Abstract The thesis being presented deals with the issues of aesthetic appreciation of nature. The aim of the work is to examine the possible meanings of the concept of verity as a feature of the aesthetic appreciation of nature. Firstly, the work analyzes and compare the theories of two recent authors, champions of the cognitive approach in the aesthetics of nature, Allen Carlson and Ronald. W. Hepburn. Each of them relates the aesthetic appreciation of nature with its discovering in a different way. Their approaches are analyzed in three main points. First, the analysis focuses on the terms the authors employ, second, it focuses on the significance the authors attribute to the veracity of the aesthetic experience, and finally, it describes the concept of thought component as it figures by both authors. Subsequently, these two approaches are compared and criticized. The final part of the work develops the ideas presented in the previous analysis. The thought component of the aesthetic experience is presented in a more relativist way and the advantages of such an open approach are pointed out. Využití mentálních map v řízení IT projektů / Use of mental maps in IT project management

The thesis studies feasibility of using mind mapping applications for IT project management. The main objective is the analysis of using mind mapping applications in the context of project management and finding the links between mind maps and components of project management. The thesis is divided into two parts -- theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part the author clarifies the mind mapping concept, how to create mind maps and the use of those. The relatively broad area of project management is introduced in the same manner starting with the main terms, brief overview of the project management methodologies and standards. The introduction further continues by describing individual project phases, their dimensions and provides examples of tools and techniques. The practical part consists of three chapters. In the first chapter the author analyses mind mapping SW applications, describes the mind mapping software market and explains the selection of an appropriate tool using multi criteria evaluation and using hands on experience with the tools. The second chapter demonstrates practical examples of project management topics with related instances of mental models and everyday activities where mind maps can be used. The last chapter describes a survey related to the awareness of mind mapping concepts which also gathers feedback about mind mapping application experience from IT project management professionals.

SW podpora pro znalostní objekty / Knowledge management system in the form of knowledge network

Knowledge is one of the most important values of companies, work-teams and other organizations. It is one of competitive advantages and so it is important to share the knowledge among individuals in the organization. The discipline of knowledge management deals with the issue of systematic work with knowledge and sharing for several decades. The sharing and finding of knowledge should be supported via suitable software tools, currently using the Internet network. This work deals with problematic of knowledge management from the viewpoint of different methods of software support. The text approaches the problem of sharing of knowledge in a hypertext form. The problem is solved not only on theoretical base, but also from the viewpoint of system design and implementation. The knowledge is saved in the form of "knowledge network" based on text contents, authors and keywords. The data are saved in the form of RDF graph using PHP and ARC2 Framework. The developed system will be used not only for support of dealing with knowledge in the courses of project management at University of Economics in Prague.

The main aim the paper is to present suitable methodology for the initial phase of Mitroff's model - conceptualization. The selected approach is then applied to the model situation. It is the decision of the city government for the construction and expansion of local factory. The last part is about Business Model Canvas which aims to outline the possible application of the methodology in practice.
