Ženy po operaci karcinomu prsu v produktivním věku a jejich návrat do pracovního procesu z pohledu ergoterapie / Woman after breast cancer surgery in productive age and their return to employment from the view of occupational therapy

Fockeová, Erika January 2017 (has links)
Breast cancer in women of productive age is a huge problem of the current population. Approximately 52% of women, which were diagnosed with breast cancer in 2013, were aged 20-64. The aim of this thesis is to discover the influence of surgical solution of breast cancer on women return to their original profession. There were 68 suitable participants, who received surgical treatment, were aged 20-64, with finished treatment and who went back to their original employment. The results show that amongst manually working women, 60,9% return to their original employment, in administrative 78% return, which, in acceptance region of 0,05 (p = 0,142), is not a statisticaly significant difference. Furthermore, it was not found that age and lenght of treatment are connected (p=0,040). It appears that the time it takes to return to employment is significantly connected to the type of operation (acceptance region 0,05, p=0,046). This research shows how important it is for women after breast cancer treatment to receive timely rehabilitational intervention and to return to employment and how this affects their quality of life. Key words: Breast cancer, occupational therapy, return to work, cancer survivors, quality of life, quantitative research

Slaďování rodinného a profesního života žen v ČR / Coordinating home and vocational life of women in Czech Republic

Pítová, Ivana January 2008 (has links)
My diploma thesis analyses the problems encountered by women in their attempt to reconcile the responsibilities of family and work. In order to successfully harmonise these two areas of life women need to receive assistance from their employer. Women are frequently faced with the necessity of making decisions which give precedence to either family or career. It is of interest to chart aspects of the contemporary situation and so subsequently be able to point to the possibilities which can help to solve this pressing problem. Coordinating home and vocational life is a particularly relevant issue, and, if a deeper understanding of this problem can be allied to practicalities, it will facilitate making decisions concerned with career and raising a family that confront many qualified women. This diploma thesis firstly takes a theoretical overview of policies towards coordinating home and vocational life. The next section considers practical help available to address these issues through membership of the European Union. Part of the section concerned with practical matters is the results from processing information from a questionnaire sent to women who have recently returned to the work place after maternity and family leave, and who have experience of the difficulties of balancing domestic and professional responsibilities.

Důvody vysoce kvalifikovaných migrantů k návratu do Bosny a Hercegoviny po roce 2005 / Return Decisions of Highly Skilled Migrants in Bosnia and Herzegovina after 2005

Andrlová, Anna January 2020 (has links)
Brain drain, or human capital flight, is a phenomenon which represents a society-wide problem in the post-Dayton Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). At present, more than half of the people claiming BiH nationality live abroad, out of which a significant part possesses tertiary education. Loss of human capital carries negative socio-economic consequences which hinder the country's development. On the other hand, brain gain, i.e. return of highly skilled migrants to their country of origin, might reverse some of the unfavourable effects. Nevertheless, the phenomenon of the return of highly skilled migrants remains under researched not only within the region of the Western Balkans, but also on a global scale. Although this type of migration has increasingly attracted the attention of many scholars from various academic and non- academic fields, contemporary literature on this topic suffers from limitations and tends to oversimplify the returnees' motivations to purely economic incentives. This study attempts to describe the complex factors leading the highly skilled migrants to return to BiH. Based on the 33 respondents' subjective preferences from the spheres of career, family and lifestyle, this work provides an insight into the decisions of returnees in the context of the developing Western Balkan country.

Problém svobody a tvořivosti u Nietzscheho / The Problem of Freedom and Creativity in Nietzsche

Kobylka, Vít January 2011 (has links)
The Thesis aims to explore the problem of Freedom and Creativity in Nietzsche. It attempts to do so in respect to the two main concepts of his high and late writings. Concept of Superman and concept of the Eternal recurrence of the same. In this respect our text follows especially interpretations of Martin Heidegger. We begin our treatise with situating Nietzsche's concept of freedom among more traditional thought and we put emphasis on comparison of it to the philosophy of Baruch Spinoza. In the next phase we reject (with Martin Heidegger and Ivan Dubský) simplifying understanding of the Eternal reccurence which understands it as dull determinism. We also analyse the topic of Creativity in Nietzsche and introduce it as fundamental anthropological theme. In the following chapters we identify certain moods that allow us to experience perspective of the Eternal reccurence and the one of Superman, which gives us chance to understand both concepts in their connection. But this connection remains enigmatic and in the last chapter we try, with help of Kierkegaard's concept of the moment, to understand both thoughts in their complementarity not only united in the concept of creativity, but also through Nietzsche's concept of the moment, understood as the original understanding of one of the aspects of...

Nietzche a dnešek / Nietzche and the Present Day

Koláček, Václav January 2016 (has links)
The first part of this thesis makes the task to illuminate Nietzsche 's basic concepts, as is "The Will of Power", "Superman" and The Eternal Return" to be understood as the most directly substance of his basic filosophic views. This understanding is a necessary assumption for the second part. Its intention is refer the connection of Nietzsche with this age. It opens question for ethos. The author talks about ontologic diference and its connection in relation to a man of today in the third part. The ethos at thinker do not find it finally, and so it forges to fourth part to only possible relevant step forward. Though it is finding etics in source of every man as background from postmodern 's nihilism. The aim of the thesis is to show not only that Niezzsche destroyed ethical values. These values were inculcated by institutions of power for a long time. By this destroying, he created the bridge to finding himself. It is task and postmodern still does not mature to it, but environment has already been ready here.

Český literární anarchismus v souvislostech socialismu a ženského hnutí (1890-1914) / Czech Literary Anarchism in the Context of Socialism and the Women's Movement (1890-1914)

Hylmar, Radek January 2017 (has links)
Czech Literary Anarchism in the Context of Socialism and the Women's Movement (1890-1914) Abstract The thesis focuses on Czech pre-WWI anarchism. It analyses it as a modernist movement comprising various activities spanning political propaganda, proposals of social organisation and thinking about moral values as well views on the arts and literary production. The aim is to present literary texts written by anarchists against a backdrop of other types of expression. At the same time, the thesis assesses anarchism in the historical context of other political, social, artistic and philosophical movements. We study the interweaving of ideological and aesthetic schemes of Czech anarchism, especially with socialism and feminism, but also concerning decadence, Friedrich Nietzsche's philosophy and writings of the German Friedrichshagen poets' and anarchists' circle. The thesis focuses on how anarchism understands human beings and their relationship to the world and society. Given the anarchists' focus on the free individual, we present strategies of emancipation from traditional conventions and institutions such as marriage, family and the state. We also concentrate on reforms concerning morals and similarities with the feminist turn to one's own bodily and psychical experiences as starting points for setting...

Politika vody / Water Politics

Dvořáková, Dana Unknown Date (has links)
The work is aimed at familiarizing the audience with the problems of water in the Czech Republic and its distribution within the landscape. However, its character, which approaches to documentary work, doesn´t explicitly describe the problem, but rather attempts to visualize it and give the viewer space for his own imagination. The work draws in contrast the examples of fine functional interventions in the landscape with examples of monstrous concrete structures - dams. It points to problematic places and tries to convey to the viewer the current issue not only in the chosen location. The main thing is the lyrical performance, which evokes not only a video but also the sound part and the narrative that explains the whole problem. The video is not purely informative, its specificity is also focused on the enjoyment of the viewer. He plays with documentary techniques but does not use them as a priority. The shots are deliberately chosen so that the concrete buildings look monumental and have their seriousness. The background of the shots also shows the time of their creation. This element is supposed to be critical and is supposed to be opposed to studies that use old plans to build new water reservoirs that do not give space for a more efficient solution. The work also touches on the overproduction and issues of today's modern agriculture.
