The thesis "Sacraments in the documents of the second Vatican council" deals with selected articles of the individual constitutions, documents and decrees of the council, which concern sacraments in the theological context. The articles are selected from the constitution on the Sacred Liturgy Sacrosanctum concilium, constitution on the Church Lumen gentium, pastoral constitution Gaudium et spes, document about the Apostolate of the Laity Apostolicam actuositatem, decree on Ecumenism Unitatis redintegratio and the decree on the life and service of priests Presbyterorum ordinis. The thesis is based on the acts of council and it maps the progress of creating the articles. A brief summary of history of the formation of individual constitutions, documents and decrees is mentioned before the analysis of the articles. The chapters are divided by the documents. At the end of the thesis is a chapter containing important themes concerning the Sacraments that came up from the mapping of the article.

ANOTATION Bc. Michaela Petráková, The quality of life in oncology patients. Hussite Faculty of Theology, Charles University, Prague. The dissertation topic is based on quality of life in oncology patients. Various factors of quality of life in general and particularly in oncology patients, issues of neoplastic diseases, branch of oncology, dialogue with patients, and palliative care as well are described in the theoretical part of thesis. The practical part of thesis deals with a level of patients' educaction, initial perception of their disease, subsequent course and more, changes in personal, family, social and professional life in connection with oncology disease and the treatment process. Corresponding research was performed among the patients in Na Pleši hospital, s.r.o. Obtained results has revealed the oncology disease decisively influenced an impact on life as well as on quality of life in diseased humans. There is a considerably hard for patients to cope with such a state of the life. Patients' families and friends play a significant role in oncology patients and they both have an important influence on the particular course of disease. Marie Hejnová Title: Effect of Functional Electrical Stimulation-Assisted Ergometry on Muscle Cross-Sectional Diameter, Nitrogen and Fluid Balance in Critically Ill Objectives: The aim of this thesis was to investigate the effect of functional electrical stimulation-assisted cycling ergometry (FES-CE) on cross-sectional diameter of the quadriceps femoris (QF) muscle of both lower extremities in critically ill patients. Another objective was to evaluate if the measured values are responding to the changes in muscle tissue or are caused by an oedema. Methods: The intervention group received daily intensified physical therapy and FES-CE. We measured cross-sectional diameter of the QF muscle repeatedly by a diagnostic ultrasound. We recorded daily nitrogen balance to objectivize catabolism of muscle and fluid balance to objectivize amount of cumulative fluid. Results: The total of 115 patients were evaluated. Average decrease of cross-sectional diameter of QF muscle in the intervention group was 0.020 ± 0.070 cm/day, in the control group it was 0.017 ± 0.084 cm/day (p = 0.87). We registered an opposite result from the eighth day onwards, the intervention group had average decrease 0.025 ± 0.047 cm/day and the control group 0.040 ± 0.076 cm/day (p = 0.38). This thesis deals with the issue of institutional care for the elderly in the country. The main goal of this work was to perform a general discourse in the current state of institutional care for the elderly in the country. The secondary objective is to suggest a possible application of special educationalists within accomodational services for health and social services. The main research method was used the analysis and compilation of 168 expert papers. The work is internally divided into seven chapters. The first one deals with the methodology and objectives of the work. The second presents data on age and aging. The third is focused on general aspects of institutional care. The fourth chapter introduces the reader to the current state of health services with a focus on hospice. The fourth chapter discusses the social services especially for elderly homes. The fifth chapter deals with the care of the dying senior and sixth chapter presents the author's conception of a possible application of special educationalists within the accomodational and health services. Ethical codes of non-medical health professions focusing on ambulance service workers ABSTRACT A sharp increase of number of the codes of ethics in all fields of human activity is the trend of current ethical education. The dissertation is oriented (focuses) on the question of the necessity or the suitability of codes of ethics for ambulance services (Emergency Ambulance Services and Non- emergency patient transport services). The dissertation analyzes the personnel management system in healthcare facilities with after-care and long-term care in the Czech Republic, focusing on the implementation of certain personnel activities. The main focus is on the characteristics of health facilities and the subsequent long-term care in the Czech Republic, staffing and elements that influence the work of personnel in such organizations. The individual personnel activities in healthcare facilities with after-care and long-term care in the Czech Republic are put into a structure. The thesis includes a qualitative research survey of the level of personnel management in healthcare facilities with after-care and long-term care in the Czech Republic established by both public and private sector, having different legal structures. The research survey focuses on learning about the form of personnel management in healthcare facilities with after-care and long-term care in the Czech Republic, it tracks personnel management as a complex system of partial personnel activities.

This diploma work deals with hospice and a quality of care given to the clients of the hospice, that fully covers complex needs, changing during a life limiting illness, taking in account the dignity of the human being to the very last moment of his life. This care is a promise for a man, that he won´t be alone in the burdensome moments of his life. There are a hospice management and various forms of hospice care in Czech Republic described in a theoretical part of the work. This chapter is to be a handbook for providing companionship to the dying person and is to draw our attention not only to the changing priorities of the dying person and to stages, that he is to go through, but to an irreplaceable role of a caregiver at his bed. In a practical part of this work there are investigated the attitudes of the caregivers in hospice and public to the process of dying of the human being. The founded results of the research show, that people finding themselves in a final stage of the life-limiting illness change their priorities; the spiritual needs become more important, especially to attain a peace with self, with other people; clients trusting in God long for consilience with God; the results of the research show however, that most public is not familiar enough with the problem of dying and death, and that there is generally low knowledge on how to provide companionship to the dying person.

Tato disertační práce je zaměřena na analýzu řečového signálu za učelem detekce nemocí ovlivňujících strukturu hlasových orgánů, obzvláště těch, které mění strukturální character hlasivek. Poskytnut je přehled současných technik. Dále jsou popsány zdroje použitých nahrávek pro zdravé a nemocné mlučí. Hlavním učelem této disertační práce je popsat vypočetní postup k odhadu parametrů modelu hlasového zdroje, které umožní následnou detekci a klasifikaci nemocí hlasivek. Poskytujeme detailní popis analýzy řečových signálů, které mohou být odvozeny z parametrických modelů hlasivek.
