Povrchové plasmony v optických mikrostrukturách a jejich senzorové aplikace / Surface plasmons in optical microstructures and their sensor applications

Adam, Pavel January 2013 (has links)
Title: Surface plasmons in optical microstructures and their sensor applications Author: Pavel Adam Institute: Institute of Photonics and Electronics AS CR, v.v.i., Department of Optical Sensors Supervisor of the doctoral thesis: doc. Ing. Jiří Homola, CSc., DSc. Abstract: This work is focused on the study of surface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensor platforms based on wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) of multiple surface plasmons (SPs). These sensors are based on advanced diffraction gratings supporting either conventional or Bragg-scattered SPs, which are simultaneously excited at different wavelengths. These SPs are studied both analytically and numerically using rigorous coupled-wave analysis and an integral approach. WDM of two and three SPs is presented and followed by the method for the analysis of the resolution, noise and cross-sensitivity. This method is employed to analyze the ability of different SPR sensor platforms (supporting WDM of two SPs) to discriminate refractive index (RI) changes in a thin layer at the sensor surface from background RI changes. The WDM SPR sensors based on advanced diffraction gratings prepared by interferometric holography are developed and tested in a model biosensing experiment consisting of the layer-by-layer growth of protein multilayers. The linear WDM of two...

Komparatívna analýza stavu a vývoja súkromného a verejného vysokého školstva na Slovensku / Comparative analysis of the situation and trends of higher private and public education in the Slovak Republic

Pulcová, Petra January 2014 (has links)
The target of the thesis is to describe present higher education system in Slovakia and the way of breakdown of subsidies for public universities and higher schools with focus on comparison with the Czech Republic. First part is about historical development and present state of higher education in Slovakia. Second part is focusing on grants for carrying out accredited study programs and the last part is analysis of study field coefficient and coefficient of employability of graduates. According to used methods I found out that different ways how to evaluate performance of higher schools and universities leads to different results, though they are using the same characteristics.

Profesní kompetence učitelů mateřských škol / Professional competencies of nursery school teachers

Smolíková, Anna January 2016 (has links)
The thesis deals with the professional competencies of teachers of nursery schools. The theoretical part focuses on contemporary education of nursery school teachers and its history in the Czech Republic with an emphasis on professional competencies. Besides defining the concept of professional competence and their various concepts. Czech education preschool teachers is contrasted with the situation in Europe. The main aim of the research part of the thesis is to describe the differences between differently educated teachers of kindergartens within the conceptualization of professional competencies. The investigation is specifically compared how teachers assess the importance of professional competence and adequacy of their development in the initial training. The survey includes pilot study and private research. Pilot study includes data collection questionnaires and structured interviews for the four case studies with differently educated preschool teachers. Own research is realized in the form of questionnaires with different educated preschool teachers and structured interviews with experts on preschool education. Further analysis was carried out educational plans of selected institutions that educate future teachers of pre-primary. The benefit of the pilot study is especially significant...

České středověké umění pohledem Katolického dějepisectví / Medieval Art in the Bohemian Lands Through the Lens of Catholic History

Šmied, Miroslav January 2017 (has links)
This paper deals with the history of the study and discipline called "History of Christian Art". It attempts to find the roots of the interest in history, sacred monuments, and national monuments of the past in the spiritual environment of the Czech lands, and its subsequent inclusion in the context of contemporary European developments of interest in art and its study. Beginning with the oldest hagiographic texts, which are not only records of literary history, but in many cases are important in terms of references to building monuments and artworks, among which Kristian's legend is dominant, through the texts of medieval chroniclers, Kosmas, his followers, the Chronicle of Zbraslav Monastery and chronicles from the reign of Charles IV., across the historiography of the Baroque period, which is without a doubt dominated by the work of Bohuslav Balbín and Thomas Pešina of Čechorod, and the period of national awakening, through a boom industry in the nineteenth century, when Ferdinand Josef Lehner made history with his founding work, to the culmination in the activities of representatives of the field the first half of the twentieth century, when it was represented by personalities such as Antonin Podlaha, Eduard Sittler, and Josef Cibulka. Based on the recapitulation and subsequent description of...
