The topic of this thesis borders librarianship, archival science and literary history - it is a synthesis of several interests and views of the subject. Censorship was a powerful regime tool in the ČSR or the ČSSR and many writers were prevented of publishing any of their work. The thesis deals not only with books, which have been labeled in dictionaries as destroyed despite of their existence. It describes how the turning point between the 1960s and 1970s was manifested in libraries, book shops and secondhand bookstores; what the publishing practice of that time was like, or how the contemporaries that worked in the industry comment on the mentioned time period. Furthermore, the thesis explains what happened to the books that had been banned overnight, what the Editorial Board's practice was like, and finally, what working with banned books involved. A part of the thesis consists of outlining the political background including presentation of the list of books that were not allowed to be published, had to be withdrawn, or the whole edition "dissapeared". How many of such books can readers today actually hold in their hands? The urban study of a selected area of the city of Brno Kohoutovice solves the existing unsuitable condition of the part of Kohoutovice near the Voříškova bus stop. A difficult area characterized by substantial building interventions of a past era and a very rugged field relief, it gave rise to a novel concept which tries, with unconventional solutions, to find the broken dialogue between the original historic buildings and socialist settlement. It attempts to define clearly the main public areas still missing here and bring logic to these areas. It divides the system of private property and public spaces. It deals with the problem of finding a solution to neighborhood full of high-rises. It intensifies the existing buildings and connects the individual parts, though separates traffic. It brings new value to the area in the form of an ecumenical center located in the unused space at a grade-separated crossroads and a newly designed head-axis which connects the old part of the village with the new development. The study also deals with the future of urbanism in the prospective period of thirty years. There was therefore some effort to engage contemporary technical and social trends, such as accommodation in mobile housing units.

The aim of this master thesis is multi-criteria assessment SBToolCZ of the building district department for Czech police in Kyjov. The building has a basement with underground garages, shooting range and technical facilities (boiler room, air conditioning room, storage, archives, cleaning room), and a ground floor with offices covered by a flat roof. The load-bearing structure of the basement is designed from watertight reinforced concrete. The ground floor has ceramic block walls. The floor and roof structure are designed from pre-stressed Spiroll. The building envelope is insulated with ETICS. The thesis also contains project documentation of building and HVAC design. The project was carried out in the AutoCad programme. Project documentation was prepared according to valid legal and technical regulations.

1 ABSTRACT The aim of the thesis is to look on the impact of legislative framework on practice through the eyes of social workers in department of child protection. The point is approach the practice of this profession and impact of legislative to it, which can affect both the client and the worker. The theoretical part of the thesis presents legislative framework, which limits practice of department of social protection. There is summarize The Constitution of the Czech Republic, the Charter of Fundamental Rights and Freedoms, the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, social and legal protection of children's law and Administrative Procedure Code. Than in this chapter are processed gestation responsibilities related to child protection. The second chapter processed discourses in social work by Karen Healy (2005). The third chapter specifies legislative framework in selected parts of child protection. These are, for example, areas of guardianship ad litem, foster care, adoption, institutional care and curator for children and youth. The chapter is conclude by description of standards of quality for the department of child protection. The thesis Cooperation of governmental and non-governmental sector in the care of neglected children has theoretical and research nature and is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The first chapter of the theoretical part focuses on the child neglect in the family. In addition to defining the concept are given the educational implications of child neglect in the family, its risk factors and failure of family in relation to child neglect. The second chapter deals with governmental and non-governmental sector entities, intervening in the area of child neglect. Attention is focused on social work in the department of social and legal protection of children, NGOs working with endangered families and children and socio-educational work with children at risk of neglect in selected schools and school facilities. The third chapter deals with the cooperation of governmental and non-governmental entities in the area, factors that affect their cooperation and rehabilitation of the family as an effective intervention in the family of the endangered child. Dissertation describes new methodology of design turbo-roundabouts in Czech Republic. Especially innovative is approach to the design of traffic lanes with regards to standard vehicles and widening of traffic lanes according to their dimensions. Innovative is also approach to road signs, where details of current signs are modified, however, these details are important for drivers’ better understanding while driving through turbo-roundabouts. Dissertation fills legislative, but also technical, blank spot during turbo-roundabouts design and I believe that it will benefit particularly designers of these intersections.

The diploma thesis deals with project documentation of new kindergartens in the cadastral area Rohatec. The building is self-standing, two-storey with a partial basement. It is a building designed for the upbringing and education of pre-school children. The capacity of kindergarten is 48 children divided into two classes. Part of the operation is a food preparation zone. The building is designed as a brick made of porous concrete blocks with mineral insulation, based on basic concrete passages. The roofing of the kindergarten is using warm flat roofs.

The doctoral dissertation thesis is focused on assessment of information systems and defines the main deficiencies in operation and management of information systems in relation to processes in the department of informatics with partial overlapping into the other parts of the company. The thesis further extends the current view of assessment of information systems in the company and, in accordance with the goal of the work, it defines its own methodology, which defines the specific assessment process and subdivides its contents into individual units. The proposed methodology provides an overview of the deficiencies and possible measures in operation and management of information systems. Qualitative verification of methodology in small, medium and large companies using case studies form a part of the thesis as well.

The aim of this project is to describe, design and create a converter from 12V DC to 230 VRMS. The power of this device is about 500W. The device consists of two main converters. The first one is step-up DC/DC converter and the other is DC/AC inverter. Step-up converter is designed as a resonant converter. It is useful for pushing down losses in semiconductors and inceasing efficiency. The inverter is changing DC voltage from the first converter to AC voltage. Control of this device is realized with DSP Motorola. This device should be used mainly for supply common devices up to 500W. Main usage is planed in a car or to another place where is not posible to connect some device to plug.

The new building Nursery school is situated in Tisnov. Under the two storey building partialy runs basement. On the ground floor is located two departments nursery school with economic part. On the second floor is the classrooms and socialrooms. In the basement are mainly storerooms and utility rooms. The building is made of ceramic bricks and insulation contact system. The first storey is partly roofed with a flat roof and the second storey is sloped roof roofed. The building is constructed on footing foundations.
