Obsah uranu v plodnicích velkých hub / Uranium content in macrofungi

Kubrová, Jaroslava January 2011 (has links)
In the leading part of this work I presented general information on the kingdom of fungi and fungal ecology focused on marofungi (macromycetes). Furthermore, I reviewed the phenomenon of trace elements accumulation in macrofungal fruit-bodies, particularly focused on uranium and its biogeochemistry. In the experimental part, results of my own research are presented. I determined concentrations of uranium, thorium, silver and lead by use of HR- ICP-MS and ENAA. The macrofungal samples were collected 1/ in clean areas with diverse geological bedrock, 2/ in uranium-polluted area in vicinity of Příbram (Central Bohemia, Czech Republic). Furthermore, selected trace elements were determined also in underlying soils by use of the both analytical methods. For investigation of trace elements mobility, the BCR sequential extraction was applied.

Pojetí regionálních dějin ve výuce dějepisu na středních školách ve městě Příbram / The concept of regional history in history teaching in secondary schools in the town of Pribram

BLAŽKOVÁ, Hana January 2011 (has links)
The diploma work is focused on the conception of regional history teaching in the city of Příbram. It brings an up-to-date view on regional history seen through didactis and tries to show contemporary condition in the regional historical research. The whole work is divided into three big parts. The first one is aimed on the term region, on its meaning and understanding. Further it maps significant regional historians and researchers, it briefly draws near their work and makes us familiar with important personalities of Příbram regional research. It also deals with the history of the town Příbram and its closest surroundings. Data obtained from an empirical research, which was taken at seven high schools in Příbram where history as a subject is taught in final exams branches classes, are elaborated in the second part of the work. The found out facts about the state of regional history in history teaching are then compared with the former aims and hypothesis. The third part is focused on certain methodical possibilities of taking advantage of regional history in history teaching at high schools. Two proposals for project teaching methods which might be used in lectures by the teachers are presented.

Kotrbatá, Lenka January 2007 (has links)
Tato diplomová práce se zabývá komplexní socioekonomickou analýzou okresu Příbram. Můžeme ji rozdělit do tří částí.

Historie dolování uranového ložiska Příbram / History of mining uranium deposit in Příbram

SASKOVÁ, Klára January 2010 (has links)
The region I´ve chosen for my diploma thesis is situated on the border of Poberounská and Czech-Moravian system of geomorphological unit Bohemian Massif. It used to be one of the richest uranium mining district of Příbram region, and it is characterized by geological structure of central-Bohemian plutonium within the geological complex Bohemian Massif. On the contiguity of it there is found vast hydrothermal uranium deposit. This deposit is divided into 9 panels ? Třebsko, Kamenná, Lešetice, Brod, Jeruzalém, Háje, Svatá Hora, Bytíz, Skalka and Obořiště, which belong to the Příbram district. The town Příbram is famous for its long-standing mining tradition not only of polymetalic but above all of uranium ores. This tradition achieved the great success of world standards in the second half of the 20th century. There was revealed a lot of hydrothermal dikes containing requested uranite (black blende, nasturan) after the Second World War. This raw material was heading to Soviet Union. Uranium mining works initiated its epoch in 1949 and regular mining activities finished by the closing of the last shaft in 1991. In all the period of time there was mined 50200, 8 tones of uranium ore. Uranium deposit in Příbram can also take pride in the deepest shaft No. 16 with the depth of 1838, 4 m which is the shaft No. 16. In connection with the mining there was formed the life of local people and also the life of people from all Czechoslovakia who were setting off to seek a living there. Today all the shafts are closed and deluged in a natural way. In certain area of the deposit has been built cavern gas reservoir. No other mining will be possible in the future. The state enterprise Diamo realizes revitalization works on former mining panels and monitors the value of surrounding environment.

Příbram a každodenní život jejích obyvatel v letech okupačních 1939 - 1945 / Příbram and its everyday life during the ocupation 1939 - 1945

ŠORFOVÁ, Petra January 2011 (has links)
The task of this diploma thesis is to describe events in years 1939-1945 which took place in Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia and which had also specific impacts on the central-Bohemian town of Příbram. The thesis is based on written sources of information held in State Regional Archive in Příbram, accessible literature and at last but not least memories of personal observers who lived through the war when they were children. In this work I concentrate on the impacts of the war on lives of ordinary people who suffered their personal tragedies and experienced encounters that completely changed their lives. The thesis is divided into 7 chapters. First chapter deals with the history of Příbram beginning with prehistory and finishing with contemporary days. This chapter also mentions Svatá Hora and Březové Hory because these places create an important part of the location. Second chapter describes the situation right before the war and feelings of people towards the declaration of the protectorate. The next chapter talks about the history of Mining Technical University which was a part of the town nearly for 100 years. The university, as well as many other schools of this type, was closed and some of its students were arrested and deported to the concentration camp Sachsenhausen. Fourth charter is about Jewish and Gipsy question which is a quite popular topic even today. Fifth chapter includes description of the atmosphere of everyday life during the war through children´s eyes but also cultural life of the town. Sixth chapter focuses on the period of the great terror after the assassination of Reinhard Heydrich, which influenced also people in Příbram. The last chapter speaks about the fight of Czech people to re-establish the independent state in which people from Příbram and its surroundings participated as well. This chapter also deals with the last fight in the central Europe which took place near the town of Příbram. The thesis combines general context and particular events happening in Příbram and it tries to look closely at the period of the Second World War full of anxiety, worries and hope.

Vazba kontaminantů na koloidy ve vodách z důlní a hutní oblasti / Contaminant binding to colloids in water from a mining/smelting area

Walter, Dominik January 2013 (has links)
This study deals with the association of trace elements with colloids and particles in surface waters and groundwaters of mining and smelting district of Příbram. Colloids were studied using combination of cascade filtration a tangential flow ultrafiltration method to separate individual colloid fractions. Colloids were separated by filtration membranes with nominal pore size 0,8 μm, 0,45 μm, 0,1 μm, 100 kDa, and 5 kDa. Water samples were analyzed using ICP-OES, ICP-MS and HPLC. The data were used for thermodynamic modeling using PHREEQC-2 programme. The results show that major and trace elements can be divided into several groups, based on their abundance in individual size fractions. Most elements dominate in fraction of truly dissolved matter as dissociated ions (< 5 kDa), maximum concentration in colloid fraction is 5-20 % and almost exclusively in fraction 5 kDa - 100 kDa. Gradual decrease of concentration in all fractions at low ionic strength (1,2 mmol/l) was observed in case of elements such as As, Co, Cr, Si, Sb and U. Gradual decrease of concentration in several samples was observed for Cd, Fe, Pb, Mn and Zn. Dominant binding to colloids and particles in surface waters was observed for Fe and Pb, where these fractions accounted for over 90 %. The main factor influencing colloid...

Kapitoly ze života Ladislava Malého (1862-1956) / Chapters from Ladislav Malý's Life (1862-1956)

SLADKOVSKÁ, Barbora January 2018 (has links)
The main aim of this thesis is to describe the personality and life of Ladislav Malý (1862-1956), a teacher, writer, traveller and amateur national historian, who put forward the foundation of the Museum of Příbram. The thesis also tries to situate Ladislav Malý's life into the context of the era and to assess his importance in the history of Příbram, the Příbram region and the Habsburg monarchy, respectively the Czechoslovak Republic. The third task of the thesis is to assess if Ladislav Malý fits in this context and whether or not, in some way, he is out of it. The story about Ladislav Malý is not strictly chronological. As the title "Chapters from Ladislav Malý's Life" sais, the individual aspects of his life (teacher's work, writing, traveling, etc.) are described separately to make them easier to understand and to place them in the overall picture of the era of second half of the 19th century till the middle of the 20th century.

Votivní dary vybraných katolických poutních míst: Teoretická reflexe a analýza dochovaných příkladů / Votive Offerings at Selected Catholic Pilgrimage Sites: Theoretical Reflection and Anlysis of Extant Examples

Kolmačková, Tereza January 2018 (has links)
Tereza Kolmačková Votive offerings at selected Catholic pilgrimage sites: Theoretical reflection and anlysis of extant examples Abstract The aim of my thesis is to analyse votive offerings at Catholic Marian pilgrimage sites mainly from the early modern period. Firstly I discuss Marian images at pilgrimage sites to show who were the votive offering brought to and to describe a broader context of their placement. The thesis is then focused on analysis of textual evidence from the 17th century relating to the Czech pilgrimage site Svatá Hora and of extant objects mainly from Bavaria. Based on these sources the most common types of votive offerings seem to be painted pictures, models of body parts, statues and figures, candles and jewelry, other objects, however, occur as well. The votive offerings were mostly donated to express gratitude for a miracle. Therefore, the miracle process is also shortly discussed in my thesis. Votive offerings did not, however, only show the gratitude of a devotee but it seems that their promise was needed for Virgin Mary to perform a miracle. My analysis suggests that very important aspects of votive offerings were their performative character and the power to create and maintain relationships with Virgin Mary and other pilgrims.
