Vliv lokálního topení na kvalitu ovzduší ve vnitřním a venkovním prostředí malého sídla / The effect of local heating on indoor and outdoor air quality in a rural settlement

Kozáková, Jana January 2011 (has links)
Increased concentrations of particulate matter do not occur in urban areas only, they occur in winter time episodes of high concentrations in small settlements, as well. It is probably caused by usage of solid fuels in domestic heating. The indoor air quality is closely influenced by the outdoor air pollution. Concentrations of size-separated PM were measured by a cascade impactor (PCIS) during two winter and one summer seasons in the years 2009 and 2010 in a village Svrčovec situated near the town Klatovy. Continuous concentrations of PM2.5 were measured in parallel by using a commercial photometer DustTrak. Following meteorological parameters were monitoring - temperature, relative humidity, wind velocity, wind direction, precipitation and sun radiation. The presence of persons and their activities in the house were noted. The average PM10 concentrations in Svrčovec were higher than average PM10 concentration in Klatovy. The summer average PM10 concentrations in Svrčovec were lower than the concentrations in the town (15.5 μg/m3, 17.4 μg/m3) and the winter PM10 concentrations in Svrčovec were significantly higher (31.1 μg/m3, 24.3 μg/m3). The average indoor concentrations (PM10 and PM2.5) were lower in the summer (9.6 μg/m3, 8.3 μg/m3) than in the winter season (24.0 μg/m3, 20.7...

Ruský pohled na energetickou bezpečnost / Russian view on energy security

Sapronova, Yulia January 2015 (has links)
The thesis is dedicated to the Russian view on energy security. Its aim is to evaluate how successful is Russian energy policy in sustaining energy and economy security in longterm perspective, and how well it deals with current and future potential problems of energy sector. The topic became of interest due to recent oil price drop, which led Russian economy to crisis and gave rise to discussion on its dependency on fossil fuel exports. First chapter is dedicated to definition of energy security of Russia as an exporting country. Next chapter is dedicated to SWOT analysis of current state of energy sector and defines its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Last chapter evaluates how successful is Russian energy policy in relation to defined energy security and performed SWOT analysis.

Drivers influencing the end price of fuel in the Czech Republic and implications for relevant businesses / Elementy ovlivňující koncovou cenu paliv v České republice a implikace pro relevantní společnosti

Fingl, Filip January 2013 (has links)
This thesis deals with understanding drivers influencing the end price of fuel in the Czech Republic and ramifications for relevant companies. Its aim is to provide a comprehensive understanding of all relevant elements have been influencing end prices of gasoline and diesel during last 8 years, understand their leverage and uncover which of those were the most important for this development. These are then researched using mainly graphical analysis and basic statistical tools. The delivery is that both prices of gasoline and diesel are highly correlated with the price development of crude oil and the prices of their respective commoditized barges expressed in the nominal value of CZK. It was also discovered that there are visible tendencies for asymmetrical pricing reaction and reaction lags, which could serve as a basis for a follow-up work. Based on these findings several conclusive recommendations for relevant companies were built and delivered.

Možnosti eliminace čpavkového skluzu v technologických vodách elektráren / Possibilities of elimination of residual ammonia content from technological water in power plants

Hajzler, Jan January 2016 (has links)
This master thesis aims to study the possibilities of eliminating, or separation of ammonium shares from technological water of plants, where is introduced a secondary method of flue gas denitrification (SCR, SNCR). The need for elimination of ammonium shares arose after introduction of emission cap, which have been tightened since January 2015. The denitrification technologies were installed on devices that did not comply with the new limits. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the description of combustion processes, as a fluid, and high temperature combustion of solid fuels, mechanisms of emissions and their reduction options. At the conclusion of the theoretical part is discussed the contents of the ammoniacal nitrogen in waters used in electricity and heating facilities to transport, or from which are separated by solid products of some processes such as desulphurization. There are also discussed some options for removal of ammonium salts from technological waters. Experimental part deals with finding appropriate method of determination of ammoniacal nitrogen, and the possibilities of its elimination by conversion to insoluble compound. Last but not least, the work deals with the evaluation of the sustainability of the proposed solutions. And as well as the real possibilities of their application in practice.
