Models of computability of partial functions on the realsFu, Ming 10 1900 (has links)

Various models of computability of partial functions f on the real numbers are
studied: two abstract, based on approximable computation w.r.t high level programming
languages; two concrete, based on computable tracking functions on the rationals;
and two based on polynomial approximation. It is shown that these six models
are equivalent, under the assumptions: (1) the domain of f is a union of an effective
sequence of rational open intervals, and (2) f is effectively locally uniformly continuous.
This includes the well-known functions of elementary real analysis (rational,
exponential, trigonometric, etc., and their inverses) and generalises a previously know
equivalence result for total functions on the reals.
/ Thesis / Master of Science (MSc)

The thesis thematically focuses on the prevention of specific learning disabilities in preschool children. The theoretical part of the thesis characterizes the development of a child in preschool age and individual types of specific learning disabilities. Thereafter, the possibilities of screening and diagnostics of individuals at risk of specific learning disabilities and concrete diagnostic and preventive methods used in the Czech environment are presented. The aim of the diploma thesis is to create a program to prevent the emergence of specific learning disabilities, through the selection of activities aimed at the progress of individual areas of development and partial functions, especially those which are found by the research to be the least developed. The basis for the creation of a prevention program consists of data obtained in the diagnosis of the level of partial functions in preschool children and experience gained during targeted work with children at risk of developing SLD. The observation method, analysis of activity results and test method (specifically screening test) were used as research methods. The research took place in the form of action research reflecting pedagogical practice in a selected kindergarten. The output of the work is a preventive program focused on the...

TITLE Development potential of sub-functions in preschool and younger school age AUTHOR: Monika Pavelová DEPARTMENT: Special education SUPERVISOR: Mgr. Lenka Felcmanová ABSTRACT: Development of partial functions in preschool and early school age is an important part of school maturity and preparedness when entering the compulsory education. The goal of my dissertation was pointing out specific partial functions and their substance and importance. Pointing out the diagnostic methods which discover potential deficit of partial functions in preschool and early school age. Introducing the stimulus programmes on individual deficits in weakened partial functions. As a method of the research was used quantitative and qualitative research. Analysis and interpretation of the research results were implemented as well. The research was implemeted in Preparatory class of Elementary school in Prague 10. Children from the preparatory class were divided in two groups. One group was consisted of children using the stimulus programme for development of partial functions and the other group was without using the stimulus programme. The goal of my research part was to determine the development level of specific partial functions in case of children with the postponement of compulsory education in preparatory class at...

Pedagogická diagnostika pohledem začínajících učitelů / The View of Beginning Teachers on Pedagogical DiagnosticsJuřičková, Libuše January 2021 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with the issue of beginning teachers in the field of pedagogical diagnostics. It is divided into theoretical and research part. The theoretical part of the thesis contains three chapters. The first part of the thesis summarizes the theoretical knowledge in the field of teaching profession and the requirements for a beginning teacher. Furthermore, the requirements for the theoretical readiness and competencies of the teacher are set with emphasis on the need for methodological guidance in its beginnings and the need for further education. The following chapter introduces the topic of pedagogical diagnostics and presents its definition, tasks and goals, the subject of pedagogical diagnostics and defines the diagnostic competencies of primary school teachers. In the last chapter of the theoretical part, the areas of partial functions are specified and their manifestations and deficits are characterized, which the teacher can observe in the pupil's speech during the educational process. The research part of the thesis is devoted to the practical readiness of beginning teachers for pedagogical diagnostics and their theoretical preparation. Through a qualitative procedure using a semi-structured interview technique, answers to research questions on the readiness of beginning...
