The Diploma thesis the Preventation of the extreme social exclusion is focused on the issue of the long-term homelessness. Using available literature it tries to find information explaining the consequences of the depressive life condition in the form of the extreme social exclusion and life without any home. Furthermore the thesis is focused on the homelessness as a multifactorial pathological phenomenon. The Diploma thesis is therefore focused on the specific terms, facts and consequences connected with the condition of the long-term homelessness. The theoretical part is concentrated on the study of the human needs based on the humanistic conception of a personality and Maslow's hierarchy of needs. Moreover the text describes the methods of the help during the social work with the homeless people and introduces social services according to the monitoring of the needs of the people in the long- term social exclusion. Another part of the thesis is dedicated to the social services in the capital city Prague. The practical part is focused on the needs of the homeless people. The needs and the applicability of the available social services were inquired with the means of interviews, studies of the documentation and observing in the community of homeless people.

The diploma thesis "Financial literacy at secondary school VIZE" is focused on the level of financial literacy at this school. This school is a part of the prison Jiřice. The thesis is divided into two parts, the theoretical part and the practical part. The first one deals with financial literacy. It analyses its components, the definition and development. It also includes forms and methods of teaching financial literacy. The second one, practical part, is focused on the research. This research deals with the level of financial literacy of people in prison, who are educated at SŠ VIZE.

This paper concentrates on the area of professional assistance, especially the prevention of socio-pathological phenomena in children and adolescents. The theoretical part introduces the history and current concept of altruistic behaviour, defines the basic social areas and activities for which assisting another human being is characteristic. Attention is also devoted to the services of the helping sector and its clientele. The introduction also includes the analysis of the assumptions and demands on the performance of helping profession, its hidden difficulties and the prevention of unprofessional conduct. Social deviations are a natural part of every society. They can be carried not only by adults, but also by children and adolescents. The causes, course and consequences of socially unacceptable behaviour are studied by professionals to whom the final chapter of the theoretical part of this paper is dedicated. The practical part complements the characteristics of selected helping professions listed in the theoretical part on the basis of statements obtained under the expert survey conducted among the individual professionals. It also provides their comparison on the basis of predefined specifics.

This diploma work named Socio-Pathological Phenomena at Secondary Vocational School and Their Possible Solution deals, in its theoretical part, with the basic terminology related with this topic. It also focuses on the risk behaviour among today's young people, and briefly introduces socio-pathological phenomena which occured at the surveyed secondary school in the last two years. It also describes other kinds of contemporary risk behaviour among young generation. At the end of theoretical part, there are introduced some of the current trends in school prevention and solution of socio-pathological phenomena. Period of adolescence is of course closely associated with this topic. It's called critical stage, and all the students pass this period during their secondary school attendance. That's why the chapter devoted to adolescence is elaborated in full details. Gender differences concerning appearance and intensity of socio-pathological phenomena are also mentioned here. Next, there is explained the system of primary prevention in The Czech Republic, the importace of family and school background, the impact of peers on personality development. In my dissertation I focused on the priorities of Bernard Bolzano o.p.s. school club in Tábor. In the theoretic part of my dissertation I mention leisure time in connection with children, historical development of leisure time pedagogy, functions, forms and activities of interest education, relationships and communication, definition of a school club and its advantages, school club participants, framework education programme and key competencies. In the practical part of the dissertation I made a research on priorities of a school club. On this basis I created various hypotheses. The veracity or inveracity of the hypotheses should have been verified by a questionnaire formed by research questions. Special additional questions of a structured dialogue with parents and educators of the school club served to specify the research. The evaluation of questionnaires and dialogues has brought the verification of the hypotheses.

This thesis deals with the legitimization of swimming in the selected children's home and school as a leisure activity. It defines the basic concepts to the topic with the help of case studies characteristics respondents, episodic interviews and field notes examines whether through the fitness swimming there could happen changes in the lifestyle of adolescents and if it corrects their behaviour. The aim of the research is to prove the above mentioned positive effects with the selected individuals and to legalize fitness swimming facilities in the same or similar types of organizations as a prevention of socially pathological phenomena.
