This dissertation describes the life of Pavel Minarik, a journalist but also secret police agent, who worked at Radio Free Europe in Munich and in several exile organizations. It also provides a brief overview of the situation in Czechoslovakia in the 2nd half of the 20th century, the development of the security apparatus of the country after World War II (focusing on the secret police and intelligence service) and the foundation of Radio Free Europe. The work refers to the studies on the topic, secret police archives, and also memories of the "Munich radio" reporters.

This thesis takes an interest in urbanistic development of Pelhrimov at the turn of 19th and 20th century. It tries to show process of the urbanization basically with an example of this town. It takes a note of evolution of small-towners` esthetical feelings and their approach to the care of historical monuments and it wants to find movers and initiators of architecture changes in the town. From this poit of view it takes an interest in regional section of Club For old Prague mainly. Mambers of the section became advisory authority in questions of rebuilding Pelhrimov during the early 20th century. They arranged contacts with Prague{\crq}s architects and historians of art. There have been realized some interesting projects thanks to them. The most telling was a cooperation with architect Pavel Janak and historian Zdenek Wirth. Pelhrimov rose from small-town{\crq}s culture for a while. But the promotion of new trends in art faced to protests of still conzervative inhabitants.

In 1950 Pavel Kohout published under the title O černém a bílém [‘About the black and the white’] a book of fairy tales, which appeared in 1953 in East Germany under the title Dreizehn rote Rosen [‘Thirteen red roses’]. If one can still recognize elements of (literary) fairy tales in the original agitative text, these are largely obliterated in the translation. The fairy tales lose the elements that marked them as fairy tales. In East Germany, the early Soviet fairy tale criticism, which had lost its sharpness at the Soviet Writers’ Congress in 1934, is taken over, while in Czechoslovakia it is still represented only by orthodox criticism.

Grafická výzdoba tisků vydaných Pavlem Severínem z Kapí Hory dosáhla vysoké úrovně, srovnatelné se zahraničními ilustracemi. Na tradici a význam kvalitní grafické výzdoby tisků pak navázali jeho následovníci, Jan Severín mladší a Jan Kosořský z Kosoře, jejichž tiskařské produkci zde bude také věnováno nemalé místo. Práce bude zakončena seznamem tisků vydaných od roku 1488 až do roku 1557, včetně stručného popisu dřevořezových ilustrací....

This diploma thesis aims for broad issue religious conversion especially in the case of the Apostle Paul. It is psychological and theological reflection of his conversion to Christianity, as described by the canonical New Testament texts. The forepartof the thesis reports theoretically into the location of the conversion of the Apostle Paul in the Acts of the Apostles and Paul's epistles. For the purpose of this diploma thesis the author describes briefly hagiotherapy method, a technique that combines knowledge of psychology and theology. The author focuses on the psychological perspective on religious conversion, its history and current state of research. The closing section of the thesis combines views of psychology and theology. 1 Von Nächstenliebe zu Menschenliebe Zusammenfassung Die vorliegende Diplom-Arbeit ist dem Hauptthema der jüdisch-christlichen Ethik gewidmet, und zwar dem Thema der Nächstenliebe, ihrer Reichweite und Bedeutung. Der Ausgangspunkt der ganzen Arbeit ist der Auftrag "die Nächsten zu lieben" (Lv 19,18), der im Rahmen einer isolierten Moral der sakralen Gemeinschaft gleichgerade mit ihrer Rückseite (mit den Aufträgen im Dt 13 einen Götzendienst oder einen Fluch dem Gott mit Tod zu strafen) angesehen wird. Die supranatural gegründete Nächstenliebe, die von der Gottesliebe zu Menschen und von der Menschenliebe zum Gott abgeleitet ist, bezieht sich verständlich nur auf die Gottesfürchtige, die Gott und sein Gesetz aus ganzem Herz miteinander lieben. Nur diese bilden den Kreis von "Nächsten", wobei alle gottlose zu "Feinden" (einschliesslich der Blutsverwandten) gerechnet werden. Die Entstehung solcher Moral versteht man unter der Bedingungen ehemaligen Religiös- Territorialkonflikten. Im Weiteren beobachtet Autor anhand der religiösen Schriften einen Übergang zur allgemeinen Menschenliebe. The following paper is an opportunity for me to introduce Pavel Petrovich Chistyakov and his pedagogical ideas to English-speaking educators. His life's accomplishments seem even more remarkable when considering the fact that he was born into a family of serfs and later became a professor at the Russian Academy of Fine Arts. Among his students were well-known Russian artists such as Valentin Serov, Mikhail Vrubel, Vasily Surikov, Victor Vasnetcov, and Vasily Polenov. In this paper, I present you with a brief analytical summary of his methodology on teaching drawing and painting, his pedagogical approaches, as well as his ideas on the development of art education in the public school setting. Chistyakov's pedagogical system still seems relevant today and, with slight adjustments, can be adapted to various teaching situations depending on the educational environment and students' abilities.

In my thesis I would like to describe the relationship between the two of the most cardinal professions that take part on the creation of a theatre production. A director is the person who creates and influences the most the idea, thoughts and genre of the production; and an actor is the one who embodies all of this on stage. I want to try to clearly demonstrate difficulties or, in the other hand, inspirational sources, which the actor is dealing with during creation of a role, depending and changing in relation with the director. As a basis of this work I chose my personal experience with two directors, whose stance during the work and relation to the actor is strongly different. First of them is Ladislav Smoček, director and playwright of Cinoherni klub. Then I would like to mention principles of cooperation with director Pavel Khek. In the first part of my thesis I want to make brief insight into history of direction and try to describe basic evolution of actor-director relationship. My goal is not to present comprehensive survey of direction history. My goal is to refer to different approaches and changes in actor-director cooperation.

Diplomová práce se zabývá postojem Svatého stolce jako subjektu mezinárodního práva k válečným konfliktům a napětí v mezinárodních vztazích v 80. letech 20. století, tedy v době části pontifikátu Jana Pavla II. (1978-2005). V první, spíše teoretické části, jsou vysvětleny základní pojmy vztahující se ke Svatému stolci, papežův primát, vnitřní struktura fungování Římské kurie se zaměřením na Státní sekretariát a Papežskou radu pro spravedlnost a mír, principy diplomacie Svatého stolce, východiska pro pontifikát Jana Pavla II. (II. vatikánský koncil a jeho dokumenty, Ostpolitik Svatého stolce), znaky programu pontifikátu Jana Pavla II. a jím upřednostňované nástroje a aspekty. Druhá, aplikační část, na vybraných případech z 80. let 20. století ? spor o Beaglův průliv, válka o Falklandy, napětí v Polsku, nikaragujský režim a problematika teologie osvobození a občanská válka v Libanonu ? ukazuje konkrétní postoj Svatého stolce či jeho roli v nich.

Autor no autoriza el acceso a texto completo de su documento hasta el 30/5/2021. / Ingeniero Civil de Minas / En el actual escenario de atraso de la puesta en marcha del Proyecto Nuevo Nivel Mina (PNNM), la División El Teniente se encuentra en la necesidad de evaluar diversos proyectos de contingencia que permitan mitigar el déficit de mineral que deberá enfrentar la División durante los próximos años hasta la puesta en marcha y ramp-up del PNNM Uno de los prospectos de mayor interés se encuentra al sur de la mina Esmeralda, dado que su ubicación permite explotar los recursos mediante la extensión de operaciones cercanas y a su vez a las campañas de sondajes ofrecen un 90% de reservas probadas, suficientes para realizar estudios a nivel de ingeniería de prefactibilidad. Dentro de este margen, se evalua la factibilidad técnica y económica de la explotación de Recursos Sur para así determinar la conveniencia de continuar los estudios del proyecto en etapas de ingeniería posteriores. Se recopilaron los antecedentes geológicos para identificar las reservas in situ, la litología presente, principales estructuras y el ambiente geotécnico del sector. Junto con esto se analizó la geomecánica del sector, determinándose que el proyecto se encuentra emplazado en un ambiente de esfuerzos similar al del sector de Diablo Regimiento. Utilizando como base los estándares para estudios de perfil, se analizó la explotación de los recursos mediante Rajo Abierto y Panel Caving. El resultado preliminar determinó que la explotación subterránea posee un mayor potencial económico por lo que se continuó el estudio enfocado el método subterráneo. Se generaron 4 opciones de explotación en función de la envolvente económica de las cuales, en función de su potencial técnico y económico, se eligieron 2; acoplada a Esmeralda denominada Continuidad de Bloques 4 y 5, y desacoplada explotando los recursos como un Caving Virgen. Dadas las alternativas de explotación, se generó el diseño minero para ambas opciones, el cual se utilizó para realizar un modelo de constructibilidad del sector, con objetivo de entregar la temporalidad del inicio y fin de los desarrollos, obras y construcciones junto con la puesta en marcha para cada estrategia. A su vez el modelo entregó las estimaciones de CAPEX requeridos para cada periodo de desarrollo del proyecto. Finalmente se realizó una evaluación económica del proyecto, obteniéndose resultados positivos de VAN para ambas estrategias analizadas entregando valores de 284,7 y 235,5 MUS$ para las opciones de Continuidad de Bloques y Caving Virgen respectivamente. En función de los antecedentes geológicos y geomecánicos, junto con la planificación, diseño, constructibilidad y análisis económico realizado a lo largo del estudio, se concluyó que la explotación subterránea del proyecto Recursos Sur presenta suficiente robustez técnica y económica para continuar sus estudios en la etapa de ingeniería de prefactibilidad. Se sugiere continuar los estudios de la opción de Continuidad de Bloques puesto que presenta mayor potencial económico y sinergias de constructibilidad extendiendo la vida de Esmeralda en 17 años. Se recomienda analizar el ambiente de esfuerzos esperado del acople de las cavidades de Esmeralda y Diablo Regimiento y junto con esto realizar campañas de sondajes para la etapa de ingeniería de factibilidad.
