Este trabalho versa sobre o catálogo de obras de Luciano Gallet e o lugar que ocupou na história de vida daquele compositor. Partindo da reunião de informações de partituras editadas e manuscritas, de pesquisas em periódicos da época, de programas de concerto, de literatura musicológica pertinente e ainda valendo-nos de sua correspondência pessoal com Mário de Andrade, buscamos recompor a sua trajetória artística e profissional em meio ao contexto sócio, político e cultural em que esteve inserida, com especial atenção ao estabelecimento de seu conjunto de obras. Através do mapeamento de um diálogo de sua produção musical com seus demais investimentos intelectuais, discutimos em que medida a criação musical de Luciano Gallet acompanhou ou transpareceu os ideais de arte e educação que nortearam sua vida, bem como propomos uma contribuição para a compreensão da transição pela qual passou sua obra, qual seja a de uma estética gálica de suas primeiras composições até sua inserção e contribuição para a cristalização do movimento nacionalista modernista brasileiro em música. / This doctoral thesis deals with the catalog of works by Luciano Gallet and the place it occupied in his life history. Starting from the collection of information from edited and handwritten music scores, research in periodicals of the time, concert programs and pertinent musicological literature, as well as availing ourselves of his personal correspondence with Mário de Andrade, we sought to trace his artistic and professional trajectory within the social, political and cultural context of the time, paying special attention to the formation of his set of works. Through the mapping of a dialogue between his musical production and his other intellectual investments, we discuss the extent to which Luciano Gallet\' musical creation accompanies or reflect the ideals of art and education that guided his life, and propose a contribution to the understanding of the transition through which his work passed such a from a Gallic aesthetic until its insertion and contribution to the crystallization of the Brazilian nationalist modernist movement in music.

(in English): Aristocrats and war. Topic of this dissertation is the relation of nobility to the phenomenon of the war represented in this case by Czech nobility Chotek's family in the period Prussian- Austrian war in the year 1866 in our state territory. The basis for seeking of the answer were family correspondence and journals, which were created or have relation to the Prussian occupation in June and July of that particular year. According to the chosen standards documents, which are basis of adaptation of the edition, were selected. Two letters and two journals of members of the Chotek's family (Karel, Rudolf Karel and Arnošt) enriched with two public sources (Národní listy and Memorial Book of village Nové Dvory) provided ability of chronological comparison of the content of recorded events of these documents. The result of document analyses and comparison is, that counts Chotek's behavior and actions in this period showed no loyalty neither to the monarch nor patriotism but presented them as the large landowner, primarily interested in protection of their own property.

A comprehensive monograph covering the life and life's work of architect Josef Mocker (22 November 1835 - 16 January 1899) has not yet been published, however, there are a number of partial works by individual historians, especially art historians, which explore Mocker's work in depth. In addition to numerous designs, building projects, and applied liturgical art, Mocker's life's work was primarily the completion of the Metropolitan Cathedral of Saints Vitus, Wenceslaus and Adalbert at Prague Castle in 1872-1899. And while there is a fairly widespread awareness of Mocker's extensive work, sadly, only little is known about his personal life. This thesis thus aims to make available a part of the surviving correspondence from the period 1871-1882 in the form of an edition of sources, allowing a glimpse into the life and thoughts of the architect Josef Mocker in his own words. Given the private nature of the letters, the paper departs from a purely artistic appreciation of the architect's work and views Josef Mocker more as a historical figure. The emphasis is placed on understanding the environment that surrounded him in a cultural and historical context in the period before starting a family.
