The aim of the submitted diploma thesis is the implementation and evaluation of the technical and technological audit of water management systems of water treatment plants – concretely Plzeň Water Treatment Plants. Part of its audit is a description of potable water production, including the evaluation of the TEA Water treatment plant, evaluation of quality assurance of raw and produced drinking water, analysis of costs and pricing costing, personnel evaluation, care of the plant and draft measures for better working of the whole system. The work also focuses on the characteristics, history and the past reconstruction and more detailed description of the individual cleaning stages of the selected water treatment plant in Pilsen. The audit itself was preceded by the study of current legislation, namely the Law No. 274/2001 Coll. and Decree No. 428/2001 Coll. The diploma thesis also describes performing laboratory analyzes in an accredited laboratory of Plzeň Water Treatment Plants.

This thesis summarizes my work on a new apartment building in Slovany, neighbourhood in Pilsen. My primary responsibility was to develop documentation for the project´s design and implementation. The building consists of four floors above ground, an underground floor and a flat roof. The building´s L-shaped plan, rebound 4th floor above ground and balconies lighten the mass of the building. The structural system of the building combined reinforced concrete system of the underground floor, column system of the 1st up to the 3rd floor above ground and wall system of the 4th floor above ground. The building is designed for six residential units with cellars, two garages, a relaxation room and a gym. The thesis includes the preparatory and study reports, architectural and construction solutions, and fire-safety building and construction site equipment solutions.

The main purpose of this master's thesis was to analyze the views of the general public and professionals in the city of Pilsen on the issue of rape using both qualitative and quantitative research methods. The qualitative section of the research was supported by interviews with qualified employees of Bílý kruh bezpečí, People in need Czech republic, Občanská poradna Plzeň, crisis centre Plus pro lidi v krizové situace, employee of the Probation and Mediation Service in Pilsen, patrolmen and detectives from the Criminal Police department in Pilsen. The following quantitative research was conducted using method of questionnaire survey with participants from the general public. The research was focused primarily on prosecution strategies in rape cases, general knowledge of sexual assault crime laws in Czech Republic, overal awareness of the issue and interest in further education on the topic from both general public and professionals. The theoretical part of the thesis was focused on the term of rape and its history, myths about rape, the victim and the offender, laws regarding rape in the Czech Republic and the methods of investigation of rape cases. 1 Abstract This thesis deals with a handwritten manuscript from the turn of the 18th century called Cžerneg Honza a neb. w Starim zbořenim Zámku Raďiňie. Nad Plzencem Zaklený Kolomaznjk and which elaborates a myth about the Radyně castle from the Pilsen region in the short-story-form. The first part presents a transliterated edition of the text by preserving the original orthography. The second part of the thesis analyses the orthography of the manuscript by building upon the preceding section. It focuses on the structure of the text, punctuation, spelling of consonants and vowels and briefly mentions rare ways of writing proper nouns and the use of capital letters. The analysis situates the orthography of the manuscript into a certain time period and, in the end, it establishes whether the manuscript belongs to the printers' or the scribal orthography. Alternatively, it evaluates whether the written orthography tends to resemble the printers' orthography. In the third section, the transcribed edition of the manuscript is introduced, using the current orthography. This edition makes the text accessible to a broader circle of contemporary readers.
