Optimalizace lehkého šikmého střešního pláště k redukci letních tepelných zisků / Optimization of a lightweight pitched roof in order to reduce summer heat gainsSvobodová, Sylvia January 2020 (has links)
The thesis deals with the topic of overheating of attic rooms during the summer period. In vast majority of family houses and apartment houses with inhabited attic spaces is the roof solved as lightweight. This kind of roof assembly is not able to sufficiently resist the summer boundary conditions and leads to increased heat gains in the interior. In this work, the attention is drawn entirely to the heat penetration through the roof. Different aspects of passive cooling were applied to the roof and the impact of each change was assessed. This concerns the color of the tiles, thermal accumulation, reflective surfaces and the ventilated air layer. The temperature and velocity profiles in the ventilated cavity were monitored and an analysis of the ventilated cavity efficiency was conducted. For individual analyses was used software – based on the principles of the Finite Element Method or the dynamic simulation software. Also other methods were employed: long-term measurement of temperatures on roof models; short-term measurement of surface temperature of various kinds of roof tiles; and laboratory measurement of reflexivity. Also the effect of insect grilles on the air flow is discussed; which was tested on a ventilator track. In this publication are explained the principles of natural convection; boundary layers and the theory of the coefficient of heat transfer. This work includes a standard of the precise calculation methodology for ventilated roofs which was developed for the purpose of creating a user-friendly guide. The results of individual analyses show, a definitely positive effect of the ventilated cavity on the heat gain reduction of attic rooms. The current technical solution of a roof ridge provides the exhaust of the water vapor from a roof assembly; but for providing ventilation for reducing heat gains is insufficient. This lead to a concept of an innovative roof ridge design which enhances the air exchange between the cavity and outdoor environment.

Výstavní galerie v Olomouci / The Exhibition Gallery in OlomoucMorcinková, Eliška January 2016 (has links)
The aim of this diploma thesis is the design of bearing construction of the Exhibition gallery in Olomouc. The building is of irregular shape with the biggest span of 50 m. The bearing structure in the highest point goes up to 14,6 m. The main design material is the glue-laminated timber GL24h and GL32h. The optimization of chosen parts of the structure has been made and the best option was then used in the detailed structural calculation. The bearing structure consists of circular columns to which the floor beams and roof trusses are connected. The irregular structure of the gallery comprises of three different roof types – flat trafficable roof, double-pitched glass roof formed by pitched cambered trusses and single-pitch roof spanning over the central part of a 20,7 m span. Within the thesis the design and check of the main structure members and connections has been made. The entire structure is pinned and its stiffness is secured by the system of tension rods and rigid floor and roof construction respectively.

The aim of this master’s project is to develop project documentation of a new-built mountain hotel in Ostružná. This hotel is near the ski area Ramzová in Jeseníky. Foundation of my building is from ground reinforced concrete slab. My building is supported by clay block load-bearing walls and clay non-load bearing walls. Exterior building envelope is designed as an aluminum shingle ventilated facade. The slabs are from reinforced concrete. The roofs of this designed building are two, first is pitched roof with insulation over rafters and second is intensive green warm flat roof. This project contains HVAC concept, photovoltaic panel concept, heating concept in technical equipment of building part. The third part of my master’s project is energy assessment for the building.

Veterinární klinika / VeterinaryŠeps, Daniel January 2022 (has links)
The subject of the diploma thesis is the design of a free-standing veterinary clinic building in Nová Paka, in the form of project documentation for the construction. The building of the veterinary clinic consists of 3 rectangles forming a Z-shape, where the entrance to the building of the veterinary clinic, its operational and administrative part is located in the eastern part. In the western rectangle there is a separate and operationally separate entrance to the apartment unit, which is located on the second floor. The entrance to the veterinary clinic building and the housing unit is barrier-free. The building will be located in a slightly sloping terrain (3.49%). The main facade of the building with the entrance to the building is oriented to the southwest. The separate entrance to the apartment unit is from the northeast side. The perimeter masonry consists of the Porotherm system with the ETICS contact thermal insulation system in a thickness of 300 mm and 200 mm ETICS masonry. The internal load-bearing masonry also consists of a Porotoherm masonry system in a thickness of 250 mm. Internal non-load-bearing masonry consisting of the Porotherm system in thicknesses of 115 and 140 mm. The ceiling structure consists of a reinforced concrete slab th. 200 mm. Above the veterinary clinic, the roof area forming the terrace of the housing unit is considered, divided into two parts 1) with a vegetation layer and 2) with a tread layer of concrete paving on the targets. The main waterproofing layer of the flat roof consists of strips of SBS modified asphalt. Above the 2nd floor, a sloping hip roof made of glued wooden trusses is considered, and a sheet metal roofing is considered as the roof covering of the truss roof. The windows are designed with insulating triple glazing. The attic on the flat roof is equipped with an aluminum railing with a vertical bar infill. The building is heated by a gas condensing boiler, the building is also designed forced ventilation
