An Investigation On The Planimetric Design Efficiency Of Guestroom Floors In 4-star HotelsKula, Berk Osman 01 June 2009 (has links) (PDF)
A large number of hostelries have been established in Turkey in line with the necessities of our age. From the period of Seljuk and Ottoman, we encounter many variations of these facilities which have come up to our time starting from the
caravansaries. Today, even though these facilities differ architecturally, conceptually they work in the same way. The common feature in almost every one is to keep the maintenance, establishment and repair costs at the minimum level. In addition to this, hotel facilities should be given importance to functionality and efficient flow in
space. As a condition to this foresight, the design and organization of the floors where guestrooms are located in hotels are significant in both evaluating the
fuctionality of these units and in examining the facilities architecturally. While designing a facility from the bottom up and creating it, the designer&rsquo / s knowledge on the planimetric configuration of the hotels built previously may lead the designer to different perspectives. Thus, it is so essential that how efficient these currently used facilities are shared among the guests, employers and the circulation areas should be investigated and the rational relations among these should be analyzed. In this study, the planimetric configuration of the floors where standard rooms of four-star hotels
established on a single parcel in Cankaya district of the city of Ankara in Turkey is examined.
In the study, 9 hotels carrying the features mentioned above were randomly selected from a sample space of 25 facilities. The architectural drawings of these structures were obtained from the relevant institutions and organizations. Data regarding area calculations and measurements made were made the investigator from these drawings.
Based on these measurements, 3 different statistical tests were used in order to determine differentiations and similarities among the ratios depicted in chapter 3.
These tests were stated as / regression analysis, t-tests and analysis of variance. Results showed that significant differences are obtained when the net usable areas
are examined and classified according to the number of beds they have and no significant differences were obtained when the analysis made according to the other factors.

GPS Trimble R8 GNSS prietaiso tikslumo įvertinimas / The Analysis Of GPS Instrument Trimble R8 GNSS Measuring AccuracyŽvironas, Andrius 14 January 2009 (has links)
Nagrinėjama GPS prietaiso Trimble R8 GNSS tikslumas. Tirta sudaryto geodezinio pagrindo tikslumo charakteristikos, remiantis atliktais GPS (globalinės padėties taškų nustatymo sistema) matavimais ir išskaičiuotomis geodezinio pagrindo punktų koordinatėmis. Atlikta analizė rodo, kad anksčiau sudarytas trianguliacijos tinklas yra aukšto tikslumo ir pilnai tenkina bei ateityje tenkins Kauno miesto geodezinio pagrindo reikalavimus, todėl punktų koordinates keisti būtų netikslinga. Apskaičiuotąsias GPS matavimais punktų koordinates vietinėje sistemoje tikslinga būtų taikyti, vykdant tik aukšto tikslumo geodezinius darbus. / The analysis GPS instrument Trimble R8 GNSS accuracy. Precision characteristics of performed geodesic basis were examined according to GPS (global location point determination) measurement and calculated coordinates of points of geodesic basis. The analysis showed, that triangulation net that was made earlier is of high precision and meets completely and will meet in the future the needs of city geodesic basis, therefore it is not expedient to change the coordinates of the points. The application of point coordinates calculated according to GPS (global location point determination) measurement in local system would be expedient when prosecuting geodesic works of high precision only in the city and coordinates of old planimetric net should be used for performance of gross scale topographical photos, for land cadastral works and other works of applied geodesy.

Podrobné zaměření polohopisu a výškopisu v části povodí Jenín jako podklad ke sledování dlouhodobých změn krajiny. / Detailed surveying of planimetry and altitude points in the part of the area of the river Jenín as control points in order to watch long time changes of the landscape.ARNOŠTOVÁ, Tereza January 2010 (has links)
The theme of this thesis was a detailed planimetric survey and altimetric surfy in a part of the basin of Jenín as a map base to monitor long-term landscape changes. Location of this area was performed near the town of Jenín. Jenín is located in the cadastre unit of Jenín, the town of Dolní Dvořiště, Český Krumlov region. The extent of the mapped area is 40 ha. The aim of this study was to make a planimetric map and a topographic map on a scale of 1:1000. Terrain reconnaissance and current minor control reconnaissance anticipated the map execution as well as the point monumentation proposal and location of detailed survey points, computational process and cartographic works. The area was located by tacheometry. Location of detailed survey points was settled by polar method, heights were measured trigonometrically. Position data of all points are given in the Uniform Trigonometric Cadastral Network and hypsographic Baltic Vertical system.
