Kaspický zemní plyn a jejich relevance pro upevnění energetické bezpečnosti Evropské unie: Výzva pro 21. století? / Caspian natural gas and its relevance for strengthening the EU energy security: challenge for the 21st century?

Binhack, Petr January 2017 (has links)
This thesis focuses on the discussion of the diversifying natural gas imports into the European Union and the role played by the Caspian region in this respect. The aim of the thesis is to describe the European Union's energy policy in the natural gas sector and to analyze the role of Caspian natural gas and the project of the Southern Gas Corridor. The question of relevance of the Caspian natural gas for strengthening the European Union's energy security comes along at the right time in the current debate on the further development of climate and energy policy. The policy, along with the draft framework for the creation of the Energy Union of 2015, integrates previously parallel European policies related to fight against climate change, energy security, internal energy market and external energy relations with third countries. The thesis is based on the hypothesis that the Caspian region is an alternative resource region capable of providing a diversification of natural gas imports to the European Union. The basic research questions are the following; "Is the European Union capable of influencing the conditions under which Caspian gas will be transported to Europe?" and "Is the Southern Gas Corridor capable of meeting the expectations of its planned volume of 60-120 billion cubic meters of natural...

Strukturování plazmových polymerů: nové metody přípravy tenkých vrstev s nano-architekturou / Structuring of plasma polymers: new methods for fabrication of nano-architectured thin films

Nikitin, Daniil January 2019 (has links)
Title: Structuring of plasma polymers: new methods for fabrication of nano-architectured thin films Author: Daniil Nikitin Department / Institute: Department of Macromolecular Physics/Charles University Supervisor of the doctoral thesis: Doc. Ing. Andrey Shukurov, PhD, Department of Macromolecular Physics/Charles University Abstract: The PhD thesis aims at the investigation of nanostructures based on plasma polymers. The main attention is paid to the combination of a gas aggregation cluster source with plasma-assisted vapor phase deposition for the fabrication of metal-polymer nanocomposites with bactericidal potential. Copper nanoparticles were incorporated into a biocompatible matrix of plasma polymerized poly(ethylene oxide) (ppPEO). The efficiency of such nanocomposite against multi-drug resistant bacteria was demonstrated. It was found that the segmental dynamics of the plasma polymer significantly changed in the presence of nanoparticles as revealed by the measurements of the dynamic glass transition temperature. The nanoscale confinement crucially influences the non-fouling properties of poly(ethylene oxide). A separate chapter is dedicated to the examination of the nanoparticle formation, growth and transport inside the source. Copper and silver nanoparticles were detected in situ in the gas phase...

Optimalizace vytápění bytového domu / Optimization of Flat House Heating

Fodor, Ján January 2017 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the supply of heat in a particular block of flats in Brno. It deals with supply for heating and for hot water heating. The introduction gives information about the considerated building and also generally, but especially with regard to the current situation with consumption and heat supply. Subsequently, the thesis describes the individual possibilities of obtaining heat. There are mentioned classical heat sources as gas boilers, but also less commonly used as co-generating units or solar collectors. Furthermore, the work is calculating from the technical and economic point of view for heating options chosen by the investor. Finally, the work compares the options from viewpoint of benefits, budgets and returns of possible investments.

Návrh vytápění a větrání pro rekonstruovaný rodinný dům / Heating and ventilation in a renovated family home

Nejerál, Michal January 2021 (has links)
The main goal of the diploma thesis is to design a new ventilation and heating system in an old house after its reconstruction. The design also includes consideration of the possibility of using renewable resources. A central heat recovery ventilation systém is designed to ensure ventilation of the building. The heating design is based on two independent heat sources. It is a wood boiler and a gas condensing boiler. After considering renewable sources, a photovoltaic system is designed. The results of individual calculations and drawing documentation of designs are also attached.
