The subject of this diploma thesis is designing a way of substituting pneumatic drives with electrical actuators for mechanical movements in a headlights tester. The thesis also contains a theoretical introduction to the issue in the first part. Substitution variants are assessed considering chosen parameters and evaluated using multi-criteria evaluation method. Two final designs are compiled based on the evaluation results and processed into the 3D model of the tester. Drawings are produced for these solutions. In conclusion, a recommendation derived from achieved results is given to the tester manufacturer, ELCOM a.s.

The diploma thesis focuses on the analysis of the current development of electromobility and the description of different types of drives. The first part deals with the basic theory of electric vehicles on batteries, hybrid vehicles and fuel cell vehicles. The second part provides analysis and data on the offered electric cars. At the end of the work is an evaluation of the situation.

The thesis Design of the straightening machines XRK 7-200 deals with the types of straightening machines and their principles. Further, procedures for construction proposals of seven-roll straighteners with rods of 100-200 mm in diameter are described. These proposals are primarily made for upper and lower crossbeams. The thesis also presents calculations of drives and set screws.

The main focus of this diploma thesis is to design controlling system for robotic chassis moving on horizontal bolt nut of globular elements. This thesis includes analysis of movements of the chassis and definition of instructions for controlling level. Instructions for controlling level are compiled in constructed simulation programme. This thesis also contains design of electronic components and requirements for electronics of controlling subsystems.

This work deals with the creation of a mathematical model of load workplace for rotating electrical machines. The first part provides a general description of servomotors and their mathematical equations. The second part describes the commissioning and connection of the PLC to the inverter and the subsequent creation of PLC programs. The last part describes the creation of the PMSM model with its control and then verified the validity of the model and the real machine.

Master’s thesis deals with the realization of motion drives for the foil winding machine. Drives for this machine are supplied by company Siemens. Whole project is made in cooperation with that company. The reader gets a comprehensive overview of the product group SINAMICS that will be used for the realization of drives in this machine. Thesis describes the selection of individual drive components, their control and regulation. Measurement and evaluation of results foil winding machine is made in the last chapter of this thesis.

Master thesis deals with solutions of BLDC motors (brushless DC motors) control. It analyses microcontrollers and electronic components suitable for BLDC motor controllers under conditions of serial production. It mentions some common problems in practical aplication like dynamic motor braking, synchronization, recuperation and constant revolutions.

The master thesis treats the design of control system of special purpose machine tool. The first part analyzes and compares two possible variants of control system which use either a CNC control system Sinumerik or motion control system Simotion. Only the variant with the Simotion control system is subsequently examined in detail: its hardware configuration, the selection of components and partly also the software solution. The thesis further deals with the safety of the realized control system and of the whole machine. There are described general safety requirements of machinery based on harmonized European standards and their specific application in the design of safety functions and the safety circuits of solved machine tool.
