A presente dissertação trata dos tipos de discurso que se evidenciam em nove versões da história infantil Chapeuzinho Vermelho, nem sempre com este título, escritas por Perrault, Grimm, José Fernando Miranda, Georgie Adams, João Guimarães Rosa, Pedro Bandeira, James Finn Garner, Chico Buarque e Carlos Lyra, ao longo de um período de quatro séculos, entre o século XVII e século XX. A primeira parte constitui-se de aspectos preliminares, como a narração de histórias, função dos contos de fada, bem como os pressupostos teóricos da Análise do Discurso (AD) e os princípios teórico-metodológicos, norteadores da análise, necessários para acompanhar a seqüência do trabalho. A segunda parte trata da análise propriamente dita. Os sentidos que se revelaram, mediante análise do discurso presente nas diferentes versões da história, evidenciam as diferentes condições em que foram produzidos. Foram identificados sentidos que apontam para uma repetição e também sentidos que apontam para uma renovação, outros, ainda, que se situam num ponto intermediário entre esses extremos. / This dissertation deals with the types of discourse that have been highlighted in nine versions of the story Little Red Riding Hood, which were written by Perrault, Grimm, José Fernando Miranda, Georgie Adams, João Guimarães Rosa, Pedro Bandeira, James Finn Garner, Chico Buarque and Carlos Lyra, along four centuries, between the XVIIth and the XXth century. The first part consists of preliminary aspects, as storytelling, the function of fairy tales, as well as the theoretical bases of Discourse Analysis and methodological principles that ruled the analysis developed, which are necessary for the understanding of the sequence of this study. The second part consists of the analysis itself. The meanings that have become evident through the analysis of the discourse present in the different versions of the story reveal the different conditions in which they were produced. There have been identified meanings that show repetition of old meanings and others that go in the opposite direction, showing renewal, and still others that we placed in an intermediate position.
