Hodnocení efektivnosti zahraniční rozvojové spolupráce Česka v období 1996-2010 / Assessment of Effectiveness of Czech Official Development Assistance in Period 1996-2010

Peštová, Michaela January 2012 (has links)
This thesis deals with the assessment of the effectiveness of selected bilateral projects of Czech official development assistance. Main purpose is to assess how well were the projects prepared and what were their results and eventual impacts. On the basis of aid effectiveness literature and manuals and handbooks for project management some main recommended principles and components of the ideal project design were specified. These principles and components were confronted with the reality of selected Czech development projects, the way these projects were design and with results they brought. These information were gathered by undertaking an own survey among projects leaders and through analysis of existing evaluation reports. In general, the design of considered projects has not been found sufficiently coherent with the recommended principles. Projects' results have not been as good as was expected. Although many of the considered principles had already been well known a long time before the evaluated projects were implemented, it has to be noted that there were no common standards formally declared in the Czechia in the time when these projects were formulated and implemented. Key words: development cooperation, aid effectiveness, project cycle management, Czechia

Sporné otázky neposkytnutí pomoci v judikatuře českých soudů / Contentious issues of the failure to provide aid as reflected in case law of Czech courts

Schöberová, Sandra January 2012 (has links)
This work deals with failure to provide assistance. This is a very complex and extensive topic related to everyday life each of us. Often there are issues regarding the interpretation of certain concepts. Addressing these questions provides case law. The most contentious issues occur in relation to the areas of health . Failure to provide assistance is not just a matter of law , but relates to many other social sciences and disciplines . Although the failure to provide assistance in this work mainly deal with in terms of criminal law, I outlined a lot of problems incorrectly . Typically it is the ignorance of first aid and, unfortunately, more often by human indifference. Therefore, I consider that the solution to the problem lies more in each of us than in the hands of lawmakers.

Implementace Pařížské deklarace o efektivitě rozvojové pomoci v politikách dárců

Pecháček, Jaroslav January 2007 (has links)
V závěru hodnotím přínos Deklarace, její pozitiva a slabá místa. V souvislosti s rozvojovou politikou obecně navrhuji řešení k větší efektivitě pomoci.

Huf, Vladimír January 2009 (has links)
This dissertation is devoted to the Czechoslovakian entry into the Council for Mutual Economic Assistance (COMECON) and the consequences of this membership on Czechoslovak economics in the following ten years. The thesis discourses about the reasons for the entry into the COMECON by analysing the postwar economic and political situation as well as the elements Czechoslovakia was expecting from it. The emphasis of this dissertation is on the first two years of the functioning of the COMECON, during which it was revealed to be primarily an instrument of Soviet politics, and which affected the transformation towards the preference for heavy indrustry. The intention of the thesis is to confirm that Czechoslovakia was suiting its economical structure to the needs of the Eastern Bloc, which were pursued through COMECON. The study also focuses on the analysis of changes in COMECON activity and their impact on the Czechoslovak economy over the years. The purpose of the thesis is to review the motives behind the Czechoslovak entry into COMECON along with the consequences COMECON membership had on Czechoslovakia in the first ten years of its existence.

Ludasová, Denisa January 2010 (has links)
This work is dedicated to the "Paris Declaration on Aid Effectiveness", a document which was signed in 2005. In the first part of this thesis several shortages that the development community has had to face are outlined. A detailed analysis of the document follows in the second chapter, also including an evaluation of the progress achieved from 2005 to 2008 when the last report on the status of implementing the Paris Declaration was issued. Special attention is given to the influence of the document over the policies of the World Bank, European Union and the Czech Republic. The illustration of implementing the Paris Declaration into policies of developing countries has been made using Ethiopia and Cambodia as examples.
