The topic of this thesis is Canaan dog including dog assistant education. The first part is theoretical and introduces the reader to the Canaan dog breed. The origin of this rare and very old breed is Izrael and first dogs were imported to the Europe and America in 60s of 20th century. Further I studied inbreeding. In the second part I studied the use of dog in education. The practical part are two education programs, which I created. The first training program is about dogs behaviour, it's also tested in practice and its completed results are part of the appendix. Pupils will learn important information about dogs, how to handle and understand a dog or information about a primitive breed like rare Canaan dog. The second education program is designed for high school students. The program is about inbreeding and includes text and worksheet. PETROVIČ, Pavel January 2018 (has links)
This diploma thesis was compiled on the topic of first aid. First aid is always actual problem, which needs attention. It is suitable to start with the first aid education at a very young age and throughout the years add more difficult situations first aid in CBRNE substance attack, first aid in extraordinary situations (floods, car accidents with a big number of injured). The aim of the thesis was to find out the knowledge of the pupils in secondary schools about providing the first aid, and subsequent comparation of the results between secondary medical school and other, nonmedical schools. The knowledge of the first aid was found out by means of questionnaires. In this statistical research were involved 400 pupils form 5 secondary schools in the South Bohemian region, including one secondary medical school. The questionnaires were evaluated and processed. To verify the hypotheses, x2 test of a good match was used (to verify the normality) and a t-test was used as well, to verify zero and alternative hypotheses. The pupils of secondary medical school reached in questioning research better results than pupils of nonmedical schools. Therefore it was possible to accept set hypotheses. The secondary schools, which took part in the statistical research, were provided with a feedback. This diploma thesis could serve as a study material, eventually also as a motive for other qualification theses. According to my opinion, a thesis about knowledge of pedagogues about providing the first aid would be beneficial.

Studecký, Jan January 2011 (has links)
The aim of this thesis called 'Problems and perspectives of development aid: donors and developing countries' are main questions of development aid in general. Basic ideas of the whole concept are defined in the first chapter. The history of development aid and international theories' perspectives of development aid are mentioned here. The second chapter consists of classifications and characteristics of developing countries together with their capacities for integration. The donors are presented in the third chapter. The main part of the thesis is the fourth chapter in which the problems of development aid are analysed on the grounds of contemporary field literature. At the beginning of the fourth chapter the qualitative problems of development aid are analysed together with the donors' motivations for its distribution. The best possible form of development aid is discussed later on - whether it is better to provide developing countries with loans or non-repayable grants. Moreover, the coordination problems within the development aid are discussed as well as possible alternatives to development aid - such as trade. The thesis pays also attention to negative consequences of development aid. Possible solutions to the problems mentioned are sketched within each sub-chapter.

Rozvojová politika EU: jak členské státy přijímají závazky týkající se efektivnosti pomoci a jejího objemu / EU Development Policy: How the Member States Implement Commitments in the Area of Aid Effectiveness and Financial Volume

Šutová, Martina January 2011 (has links)
Development cooperation is nowadays a highly discussed topic, especially in the context of its effectiveness. In the past years the European Union and the Organization for economic cooperation and development adopted several documents concerning aid effectiveness and possible ways of its improvement. The aim of this thesis is to find out, in the case of selected states (France, Sweden, and the Czech Republic), if they implement the commitments resulting from these documents into their national development policies and if they carry out their development cooperation in compliance with them. Since the commitments in this area overlap between the two organizations and both of them are trying to influence the states to fulfill their commitments, this thesis will also try to identify which of these organizations has a greater influence on the chosen states. Keywords EU development policy, Council Conclusions, Member States, OECD, aid effectiveness, financial commitments

Česká republika jako nastupující dárcovská země a změna politiky směrem k účinnosti pomoci / The Czech Republic as an Emerging Donor Country and the Policy Change towards Aid Effectiveness

Trousil, Pavel January 2012 (has links)
In an analysis of the development of the Czech foreign aid policy, I use the advocacy coalition framework (ACF) to examine what policy change towards aid effectiveness has occurred from the mid-1990's to the present. Using this explanatory framework, I suggest that the changes towards aid effectiveness, which have occurred during this period, are minor rather than major ones. I argue that during this time the Czech foreign aid policy has been dominated by a belief system of the majority coalition that represents a realistic approach to foreign aid policy based on self-interested interests such as mutual interests, commercial motives or political and strategic interests. By the application of the ACF, I attempt to explain the policy process and the reasons why a major policy change has not occurred. In this analysis, I argue that in spite of the processes external to the policy subsystem (e.g. the occurrence of aid effectiveness movement), the minority coalition, whose belief system is mainly represented by altruistic motives and the support for increasing aid effectiveness, has not had enough policy-relevant resources to press for a major policy change. I argue that the conflict between the coalitions is driven by normative beliefs and that it is more likely that there will be incremental policy...
