Poetika prostoru v Alexandrijském kvartetu. / The Poetics of Space in The Alexandria Quartet.

Malý, Lukáš January 2015 (has links)
Poetics of space in The Alexandria Quartet is created by multilevel structures. This poetics is closely connected to the main space of the story - Alexandria, which is at the same time one of the novel's topics. Each level is suggested in connection to various theoretical conceptions which are subsequently used for my own analysis. Alexandria is initially an aesthetic coulisse of the story which is portrayed by descriptive passages. Strongly subjective and lyrical descriptions of the city establish overall impression of the story and potentially support reader's experiential illusion. Alexandria and its specificity is further modulated and thematised by its special macroscopic conditions which border Alexandria as an autonomous fictional space with its own rules within the novel's fictional world. Part of poetics of the space in this novel is also portraying spatio-temporal aspect of the reality (chronotope) no only on the level of the story, but also on the level of storytelling. Alexandria is further explicit rhetoric and also through semantic indexation personified and enters semantic relations with the main characters and events. Each level is complementary to another and all are part of the semantic gesture of the novel. Alexandria becomes a separate symbol, mythical entity which importance is...

Analýza spontánního kolapsu v elastických trubicích / Analysis of spontaneous collapse in elastic tubes

Netušil, Marek January 2012 (has links)
Interaction of fluid with elastic tube is complicated issue studied by many scientific departments around the world. Object of this thesis is to analyze simplified one-dimensional model. At the beginning, used balance equations and basics of hyper-elasticity are presented. Then we review three most common materials used for the description of blood vessels and other soft tissues. For these materials we introduce a method which we use to derive a relation between tube deformation and transmural pressure (i.e. difference between inner and outer pressure). In mathematical section we give brief review of theory of nonlinear hyperbolic equations and some relatively new results in the field of existence and uniqueness of a solution of one-dimensional hyperbolic system. The "building stone" of these results is a solution of the so-called Riemann problem. We use a method for finding exact solutions to the Riemann problem to analyze studied model of fluid-tube interaction and study dependence of the qualitative behavior of the solution on the material properties of the tube wall.

Konstruktivismus v komunikační a slohové výchově na 1. stupni ZŠ / Constructivism in communication and text classes for primary schools

Stříbná, Karolína January 2018 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with constructivism and how best to employ it in teaching communication and text classes at elementary schools. It also explores possibilities of using constructivism when new text types are being implemented into the educational process. The thesis consists of a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part focuses on the constructivist way of teaching in general and it's basis for teaching the Czech language in particular. It also contains an analysis of the available teaching materials and a view of the specialised literature on teaching communication and text classes. The practical part presents a research into the pupils' preconcepts about selected text types. The two text types selected for this research are letter and instruction manual. The research is followed by an analysis and an interpretation, which might be useful in teaching about the selected text types. The conclusion provides recommendations for implementing the selected text types into Czech language classes.

Kahounová, Monika Bc. January 2008 (has links)
Teoreticko-metodologická část obecně popisuje personální útvar a jeho funkce, charakterizuje jednotlivé personální činnosti (získávání a přijímání pracovníků, hodnocení a rozvoj pracovníků, pracovní vztahy, péče o zaměstnance, personální informační systém). Praktická část se zabývá základní charakteristikou firmy, popisuje personální útvar a personální management vybrané firmy, charakterizuje a hodnotí personální činnosti analyzované společnosti a poskytuje doporučení a návrhy pro personální management.

Rozpoznání SPZ/RZ / LPR detection and OCR

Krajíček, Pavel January 2010 (has links)
The theme of this thesi’s deals with the detection and recognition of car license plate from pictures made of screening machine situated on a crassing or inside a car. The thesis si divided into two basic parts. First deals with searching for presence of licence plate in the picture. If the marque was found, we continue the second part of the program which identificates the found license plate. The first part of program aspires to find the licence plate by the edge detectors. The second part classifies characters by the method based on an analytical description.

Podobnost obrazů na základě bodů zájmu / Image similarity measurement using points of interest

Jelínek, Ondřej January 2015 (has links)
This paper presents a new object detection method. The method is based on keypoints analysis and their parameters. Computed parameters are used for building a decision model using machine learning methods. The model is able to detect object in the picture based on input data and compares its similarity to the chosen example. The new method is described in detail, its accuracy is evaluated and this accuracy is compared to other existing detectors. The new method’s detection ability is by more than 40% better than detection ability of detectors like SURF. In order to understand the object detection this paper describes the process step by step including popular algorithms designed for specific roles in each step.

Agentní systém pro hraní her / Agent Based Gameplaying System

Trutman, Michal January 2015 (has links)
This thesis deals with general game playing agent systems. On the contrary with common agents, which are designed only for a specified task or a game, general game playing agents have to be able to play basically any arbitrary game described in a formal declarative language. The biggest challenge is that the game rules are not known beforehand, which makes it impossible to use some optimizations or to make a good heuristic function. The thesis consists of a theoretical and a practical part. The first part introduces the field of general game playing agents, defines the Game Description Language and covers construction of heuristic evaluation functions and their integration within the Monte Carlo tree search algorithm. In the practical part, a general method of creating a new heuristic function is presented, which is later integrated into a proper agent, which is compared then with other systems.

Trasování významných bodů ve videosekvenci nestacionární kamery / Interest Points Tracking in Video Sequence of Non-stationary Camera

Studený, Pavel January 2016 (has links)
The thesis deals with the issue of tracking feature points earned from videosequences of hand helded camera. The work is focused on the case of moving camera and static background, and events that are associated with this case and can occur. There is studied the movement of the camera, which is given its direction and speed. The aim of this work is the election and the subsequent implementation of three fundamentally different methods suitable for tracking feature points in case of moving camera and their comparison according to set criteria. On the basis of comparison will be under pre-defined conditions chosen algorithm that is best able to deal with tracing these points.

Aplikace solvatačního modelu k popisu retence vybraných látek v kapalinové a plynové chromatografii / Application of solvation mocel to retention description of selected compounds in liquid and gas chromatography

Jirkal, Štěpán January 2016 (has links)
(EN) The solvation model based on LSER was applied to study the retention behaviour of analytes in liquid and gas chromatography. In a first chapter, a retention description of 21 solutes was investigated by using the solvation model in a wide range of mobile phase composition methanol-water and acetonitrile-water. Generally, the retention of aromatic compounds was better described by the solvation model, compared to aliphatic compounds. Effect of the particular analytes used to formulate the LSER model on ability of retention description was studied. Different results of a retention estimation was achieved by using the regression set of compounds including aromatic solutes only or by contrast aliphatic solutes only. The solvation model developed on the basis of oxygen derivatives provided distinct results in comparison to model formulated with nitrogen derivatives only. The second chapter of this work, focused on gas chromatography, dealt with a description of retention of 152 isomers C5-C8 alkenes by the LSER model. The solvation descriptor L was obtained by using two estimation methods Havelec-Ševčík (HS) and Platts-Butina (PB), the descriptor E was calculated according to its definition. Two models for retention description of alkenes were constructed, the HS model and the PB model, derived...
