Duchovní doprovázení v kontextu české post-sekulární společnosti / Spiritual support in czech post-modern society kontext

Syrovátková, Štěpánka January 2014 (has links)
The diploma thesis "Spiritual support in the context of the Czech post-modern society" presents spiritual support as seen in the context of selected practices of the Czech Roman- Catholic Church. The thesis puts this view into the context of theoretical findings in the field of spiritual support and defines the main characteristics of the field, pointing out the debatable points or diverse approaches to it. The part dedicated to the Czech post-modern society describes the state of the contemporary Czech non/religiousness, explores its causes, and points out the opportunities of extending the offer of Christian spiritual support also to people outside the religious environment.

Geneze rodiny v rámci postmoderní společnosti / Genesis of the family according to post-modern society

VILÍMOVÁ, Jana January 2007 (has links)
The main pillar of the family has become the couple's relationship: to satisfy individual needs and allow the possibility for self-realisation, for men and women alike. This gender position has become relevant with its influence on the whole society. Post-modern society has offered people more individual freedom and choice. The average age of groom increased from 24.6 to 28.9 and the bride from 21.8 to 26.5. In the town of Mirošovice during the period of 1974 - 1989 the average age of bride was 21.64 (period of 1990 {--} 2005 was 25.89) and groom 24.55 (period of 1990 {--} 2005 is 29.29). This confirms the assumption of hypothesis H1: Age of engaged couple entering marriage in the period of 1990 {--} 2005 is higher than in the period of 1974 {--} 1989. The aim of this dissertation is to map out the situation during the period of 1990 - 2005 and its comparison with previous years (likewise for a 15 year period, from 1974 - 1989). I have chosen a quantitative type of research and analysis of actual realities - primary and secondary data analysis, taken from the noted data files of permanent inhabitants from the town of Mirošovice. In the observed file (127 couples) there are married couples included, who have permanent addresses in Mirošovice, and whose marriages have lasted up until the 31. 12. 2005. Since the 1990s, the age difference between husband and wife has increased. There was also a rise in the number of couples where the woman was older than the man. In Mirošovice the total average age difference between engaged couples (not considering the gender of the older partner) during the period 1974 {--} 1989 was 4.49 years and during the period 1990 {--} 2005 was 3.92 years. Thus hypothesis H2 is confirmed: Age difference between partners who were married after 1990 (during the period 1990 - 2005) is less than the period 1974 {--} 1989. Also hypothesis H3: Age difference (more than 5 years) of engaged couples does not have any direct relation to the age difference of their parents, has been proved. Hypothesis H4: Age difference of engaged couples where the older partner is a woman, having direct relation to the age difference of bride or groom's parents, where the mother was older than father, has not been proved. The individualisation characterising current changes in the family bring with them, mainly to the most elderly lonely women, but also men, many social, economical, health and psychological problems.

Desafío docente: El alumno postmoderno

Alfaro Ramírez, Teresa 28 August 2014 (has links)
Societies progress: currently, a globalized and computer world, is a postmodern society. In it, the ways of transmitting and socializing culture have changed; new human beings have been developed postmodern individuals with very particular characteristics: they are our students. How to optimize the learning triad (student-teacher-knowledge)? It is not enough to know the contents and be a specialist in the field, it is essential to be aware of the current environment to analyze and understand the characteristics of our students, also called "sons of globalization" or "digital natives". Only then shall we know, also, our own reality as individuals and teachers. This paper seeks to analyze the characteristics of our students and reflect on our role as teachers in a complex and changing environment.

Amid, Shanis January 2007 (has links)
<p>This study is based on interviews with six students from Stockholm that have shared their feelings/opinions about how they experience their identity as a student. The aim of this master’s thesis is to examine how the identity of students is constructed but also how the post modern society affects the life that the students are living. With a higher demand on education and responsibility of making the right decisions, the student’s main concern is not only her studies, but also the goal to succeed in her life. The result points out that the environment which the student lives in has an influence on how the identity develops. The identity has nothing to do with the actually fact that the student studies, but with how the student acts outside the university.</p>

Bee, Jacqueline 29 February 2008 (has links)
At the beginning of humanity we find man and woman as a couple created by God; in post-modern society, however, this place is taken by the enlightened individual. The discrepancy is evident. Man and woman were created for a lifelong marriage which was not only to reflect the triune creator but which was anchored in the dependence on the creator as a constitutive necessity for building a solid, successful and lifelong marriage. This awareness of the fundamental necessity of God as the creator of man has been lost in post-modern society. Instead we find the claim for absolute freedom, linked to the negation of the ontological sinfulness of man. It is obvious that such negation makes the cross and resurrection of Jesus Christ by which sin is finally overcome superfluous, rending the re-establishement of the relationship between God and man impossible. But it is by this grounding in God the creator and redeemer alone that man and woman will unterstand marriage in its originally intended depth and fullness. The present study has resulted in discerning a fundamental, God-given anthropological script which defines both relation and dependence of man and woman; this implies that these fundamental elements cannot be deliberately transformed and/or adapted to various socio-cultural norms and expectations. However, the post-modern understanding of gender presents itself in clear opposition to this creational view. Nowadays, gender identity is seen solely as a socio-cultural structure and therefore subject to unlimited changes and modifications. In this study, one main reason for the instability of marriages in postmodern society has been discerned in the discrepancy between the permanent anthropological basic script and the apparent variability of the relation and dependence between man and woman. The negation of God the creator and redeemer proves to be of equal importance, as it is only through and in him that the basic script for marriage can be realized in its originally intended allembracing dimension. / Systematic Theology and Theological Ethics / D. Sociálně-pedagogické přístupy práce s "neorganizovanou mládeží" v nízkoprahových zařízeních a otevřených klubech pro děti a mládež / Social-pedagogy Approaches in the Issue-based Youth Work Centres Dealing with the Unattached Youth

SVOBODA, Michal January 2007 (has links)
The presented work deals with social-pedagogy approaches in the issue-based youth work centres. The first part attends to the analysis of the idea {\clqq}unattached youth``. It takes aspect of the lifestyle sociology, the social education and the developmental psychology. The viewed group of the unattached youth is presented as a group of the adolescents; they have problems with the coping strategies in the post-modern society. The second part of the work takes their problems as a starting-point for the next reflec-tion. It determines criteria of the effective youth work dealing with the unattached youth. Finally the third applied part evaluates the four current types of the issue-based youth work: the German open youth work (Offene Kinder- und Jugendarbeit), the British youth work, the Czech issue-based youth work centres and the Czech open youth centres. The evaluation is focused on the criteria of the effective youth work dealing with the unat-tached youth; we derived in the second part. Overall the main aim of this work is to point out the effective issue-based youth work has to take into account the social and developmental needs of the target group.
