Vliv potravy kontaminované manganem na vývoj fytofágů

Šťasta, Michal January 2018 (has links)
Foreign substances (including heavy metals) enter to the food chain of the animal part of ecosystem can affect the development of organism, its mortality rate and consumed food quantity. It is depended not only on the ability to elimination of these substances influence by the organisms. The effect of the diet with differentiated levels of manganese has been studied in laboratory conditions on caterpillars Cabera pusaria (Lepidoptera; Geometridae). Laboratory breading took place in Climacell chamber with controlled temperature, humidity, and lighting conditions. Three different contents of manganese in the diet of caterpillars was achieved by dipping of birch leaves (Betula pendula) in solutions of MnCl2.4H2O. We determined the statistical significant differences between the treatments in experiment in the amount of consumed food, the time of pupation, mortality rate of caterpillars. And significant differences were detected in unconsumed food, droppings and pupae. The increased concentration of manganese in the diet had a negative influence on the development of C. pusaria larvae and it can cause 100% mortality of caterpillars.

Zhodnocení potenciálního vlivu motáka pochopa na populace drobné zvěře na Jičínsku

Nýdrle, Tomáš January 2016 (has links)
The aim of this thesis was to extend the existing database of literature thematically focused on the issue of feeding ecology of predators . Further localize the marsh harrier nest on the ground and analyze the foraging ecology of prey remnants and estimate the weight of the different kinds of food. The next step to evaluate the collected data to determine the species composition and numbers of prey . Assess the food supply in the area monitored nesting sites , and factors that could affect it . Finally, data evaluation and their confrontation with the literature , and on top to achieve viable squibs impact on small game

Růst a přežívání juvenilních jedinců perlorodky říční v závislost na charakteru potravních zdrojů / The growth and survival of juvenile freshwater pearl mussel in respect to food resources

Mastíková, Jana January 2016 (has links)
The survival of the freshwater pearl mussel (Margaritifera margaritifera) depends on the protection and preservation of the suitable biotypes that is why it is necessary to know its requirements for environmental conditions. This species indicates the quality of suitable biotypes with its specific requirements for food and environment. During its life, the freshwater pearl mussel is undergoing complicated development cycle and in each phase it has different requirements for food. In the juvenile phase, it is very sensitive to quality of environment as well as quality and composition of its food, which consists of organogenic detritus, which is mainly decomposed mass of vegetable and animal origin together with bacteria. Its food arises in river basin areas as well as in river spring areas-from where it is carried downstream by a river and so pearl mussels may ingest it filtering the water. This highly specialized species that is sensitive to environmental changes, especially within its juvenile life phase, is very important as to its bio-indicating ability. The experimental part of this work was focused on the evaluation of the detritus carrying-capacity performed by the bio-indication method ex-situ in a laboratory out of its natural environment. For evaluating the carrying-capacity and quality of the tested detritus under optimal temperature conditions ex-situ for 10 days, there were used juvenile pearl mussels from a semi-natural breeding. The tested samples of detritus were collected according to the standard procedures in the summer 2015 from the locality of Blanice river spring area. There were collected totally 100 samples of detritus from 100 spring areas. The goal was to evaluate the growth of shells of juveniles depending on physico-chemical properties of the sample. The main analyzed data were the value of the pearl mussel growth and detritus parameters - pH, conductivity and altitude of the springs.

Interakce antibiotik s potravinami / Food interactions of antibiotics

Nováková, Veronika January 2021 (has links)
Charles University Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Pharmacology & Toxicology Student: Veronika Nováková Supervisor: PharmDr. Jana Pourová, Ph.D. Title of diploma thesis: Food interactions of antibiotics Diploma thesis deals with clinically significant interactions between antibiotics and food. It defines basic concepts such as antibiotics, food, drug interactions and also drug-food interactions. The main part of the work deals with the characteristics of individual groups of antibiotics, describes their mechanism of action, including the antimicrobial spectrum, the main side effects and deals with the already mentioned interactions with food and beverages. St. John's wort, grapefruit, alcohol, or polyvalent ions in particular play an important role in these interactions, which can have a significant effect on the course of antibiotic therapy. The next part of this work deals with the effect of probiotics on the natural intestinal microflora, which is disrupted by antibiotics. The last part of the thesis deals with the issue of antibiotic resistance and the principles of correct and appropriate use of antibiotics, which have an impact not only on minimizing the emergence and development of bacterial resistance, but also help to prevent interactions, including drug-food...

Pavilón pro EXPO 2015 v Miláně / Pavilion for Expo 2015 in Milan

Chuděj, Tomáš January 2014 (has links)
The motto of the Expo 2015 in Milan, is "Feeding the planet, energy for life." The main idea of the design of the pavilion is Food – energy for life. The attempt of the thesis lies in pointing on rational eating and a healthy lifestyle. Not only is the reason the influence on an individual, but the influence on a whole society. The thesis is devoted to a solution of a thematic function of the pavilion, a way of presentation, a detailed solution of the pavilion construction and subsequent recycling of the pavilion.

Studie populace kalouse ušatého (Asio otus) na zimovišti v Kladně / Monitoring of the Long-eared Owl (Asio otus) Population at the Town of Kladno Wintering Place

Ponikelská, Eliška January 2015 (has links)
My thesis deals with the study of the population of the Long-eared Owl (Asio otus) on a wintering place in Kladno - Kročehlavy. I mention numbers, arrivals and departures of the Long-eared Owl during the years 2013-2015 and the influence of abiotic factors on these results. I also deal with ringing and recoveries of these owls in the territory of Kladno. I verify the hypothesis of the influence of warm weather, rainfall and snow cover on the representation of small mammals and birds species in the diet of the Long-eared Owl in this thesis. In addition, my thesis is devoted to the analysis of methodology and species identification in food of the Long-eared Owl by skulls and pelvic bones. In my thesis, when determining the type of small mammals I deal with sexing of Common Vole (Microtus arvalis) and Wood Mouse (Apodemus sylvaticus) of the pelvic bones. According to bone fragments of the pelvis dominant representation of male Common Voles and Wood Mouse in a certain period of winter was investigated. On the basis of the obtained results I have compiled charts and tables and I have compared them with previous research from the years 2006 - 2012 in the same study area in Kladno - Kročehlavy. Keywords: Long-eared Owl (Asio otus), diet, weather, Common Vole (Microtus arvalis), Wood Mouse (Apodemus...

Poloumělý výtěr candáta obecného a odchov plůdku na Rybářství Hluboká / Semiartificial spawning pikeperch and fingerling-scale reading in Fishery Hluboká

MACÁK, Miroslav January 2008 (has links)
Semiartificial spawning does in fishbastion Cejkovice in the area Ostrov. In the year 2006 was count the produktivity hen fish in a pond 7. After incubation was monitored intensity growth rate fingerling in fingerling pond, next species and size variability natural food and her effect in growth rate. Were writed basic physical and chemistry waters (temperature, pH, content O2). Owing to absence of waters and absence of size fit zooplankton was hunted very little of pikeperch fingerling.
