Sledování vlivu Vojtovy reflexní lokomoce na svalovou aktivitu pletence ramenního pomocí povrchové elektromyografie / The observation of the influence of Vojta's reflex locomotion on the activity of the shoulder girdle's muscles with surface electromyography

Pochylová, Barbora January 2011 (has links)
The aim of this thesis was to evaluate the influence of Vojta's reflex locomotion on the activity of the shoulder girdle's muscles with surface electromyography. We also observed the activity of some of the trunk's muscles. We tested phasic and support function of the upper extremity in several movements on 15 healthy people. It didn't bring many significant values. It could be caused by different sensitivities of the participants for the stimulation, the short time of the stimulation, individual motoric stereotypes or not so strongly expressed muscle dysbalantion within healthy individuals.

Vliv toxicity a ostatních vlastností výsypkových substrátů na růst rostlin / The effect of toxicity and othet parameters of substrate on plant growth in post mining sites.

Zadinová, Radka January 2013 (has links)
Surface mining of coal in the country leaves a lot of damage. This type of mining is characterized by the creation of large external dumps. The dumps often contain substrates with toxic substances or substances which become toxic after reaction with air. These substrates are toxic to plants and edaphon. This work is intended to show what properties of substrates are important for phytotoxicity. The location of research was selected including 3 different kinds of substrates, terrain unevenness and a lagoon in the middle. Coordinate grid has been created on the selected location. At each point a test was conducted with plant Sinapis alba and biomass was extracted from a naturally growing vegetation. Further, at the points substrates were collected and values of pH, conductivity and arsenic were measured. Test with plant Sinapis alba was repeated in the laboratory conditions as well. On site GPS coordinates were measured for the mathematical model created in ArcGIS. Experiment has shown the importance of the type of substrate and the geologic description, and then the association between dejection, value of pH and conductivity. Conductivity and pH levels also correlate with the germination Sinapis alba and biomass of naturally growing vegetation.

Sledování aktivace vybraných svalových skupin u klientů s míšním poraněním / Monitoring the activation of selected muscle groups of clients with spinal cord injury

Krátký, Jakub January 2013 (has links)
KRATKY, Jakub. Monitoring the activation of selected muscle groups of clients with spinal cord injuries. Prague: Charles University, Faculty of Physical Education and Sport, 2013. 82 pages. Supervisor Doc. PaedDr. Karel Jelen, CSc The aim of this thesis is to monitor the activation of selected muscle groups (musculus deltoideus pars anterior, musculus deltoideus pars posterior, musculus triceps brachii caput laterale and musculus trapezius pars descendus) during double poling ergometry. Nine subjects with different spinal cord lesions volunteered to participate in the study. The surface electromyography is used to detect the musculus activation. The monitoring of four muscle groups is devided into three phases. Firstly, all the participants double-poled for one minute at moderate intensity according to the Borg scale. Each participant underwent a 10-minute intervention to correct the posture. In the last phase the volunteers exercised again for one minute at moderate intensity. The aim of the intervention is to decrease muscle activation of musculus deltoideus pars anterior and musculus trapezius pars descendus (muscles with a tendency to hypertonia during wheelchair propulsion and activity of daily living) and to increase muscle activation of musculus deltoideus pars posterior and musculus triceps...

Mašková, Klára January 2013 (has links)
Title: Electromyographic analysis of selected muscles of lower extremity of kitesurfers. Objective: The goal of thesis is to determine muscle groups, which are the most active during the kitesurfing position and compare the values in increasing time spent in this position. Furthermore, to determine a degree of co-contraction level between m. quadriceps femoris and m. biceps femoris. According to the enlarging number of riders in kitesurfing population the goal is to compare results between professional and recreant riders and determine statisticaly significant differences. Methods: This thesis is a case study, where is analyzed the degree of muscle aktivity of lower extremity during the kitesurfing position. The research involved 6 persons of very specific selection consisted of professional riders and recreants. As an objectification method surface electromyography had been chosen and the normalized value between m. quadriceps femoris, m. gluteus maximus, m. biceps femoris, m. tibialis anterior, m. gastrocnemius and m. trapezius had been evaluated. Findings: The measurement results showed that the most active muscle during the kitesurfing position is m. quadriceps femoris of stance lower extremity even though after long-term stay. Furthemore, the results showed that professional riders apply more...

Vliv asymetrické zátěže na stereotyp běhu / Effect of asymmetric load on the stereotype of running.

Holíková, Dana January 2013 (has links)
Title: Effect of asymmetric load on the stereotype of running. Objectives: The aim of this experimental work is to evaluace the electromyographic activity of selected muscles when running without load and with load on the treadmill, and the co- current assessment of the impact of asymmetric load on the lateral weight distribution. Methods: Six recreational runners underwent the experiment during which we monitored electrical activity of m. deltoideus pars anterior, m. trapezius pars ascendes et descendens, lumbar paraspinal muscles, m. gastrocnemius lateralis and m. tibialis anterior while running without load and with load on the periphery of the upper right extremity. For the experiment a motor treadmill at a constant speed of 10 km/h was used and a 0,5 l PET bottle completely filled with water was applied as the load. Changes of lateral weight distribution were assessed having investigated stance on two scales. The measured values were statistically evaluated. Results: Within the group of all the probands it was proved that there existed an impact on normalized average amplitude of EMG signal at left-oriented m. gastrocnemius lateralis. The hypothesis of the influence of asymmetric load on the lateral weight distribution was not demonstrated. Keywords: endurance running, surface...

Terestrické exoplanety a jejich vývoj / Evolution of terrestrial exoplanets

Káňová, Michaela January 2015 (has links)
Observations of terrestrial exoplanets provide a unique statistical set that may improve our knowl- edge of their formation, structure as well as internal and orbital evolution. Close-in extrasolar planets are subjected to strong stellar tides, resulting in an extensive dissipation of mechanical energy (tidal heating), long-term orbital evolution and evolution of the rotational frequency. For the exoplanets on eccentric orbits, the traditional tidal theories predict locking into pseudo-synchronous spin states, for which the rotational frequency is slightly higher than the orbital frequency. Such predictions are, how- ever, in contradiction with the observations of moons in the Solar system, and are a consequence of simplified rheological assumptions. Here, we focus on a numerical approach to the tidal evolution of planetary orbit and rotation in a single-planet system, assuming a Maxwell viscoelastic rheology. We find equillibrium spin states, including the spin-orbit resonances, and discuss their connection with the minima of tidal heating. Locking into a spin-orbit resonance results in an irregular insolation pattern and an unequal surface temperature distribution, affecting the internal dynamics of the planet. The second part of the thesis therefore deals with the evaluation of the surface temperature and...

EMG analýza vlivu vodního prostředí na chůzi u starších osob / EMG analysis of the influence of the water environment on walking in the elderly

Vodičková, Kamila January 2015 (has links)
Title: EMG analysis of the influence of the water environment on walking in the elderly Objectives: The main objective of this master thesis is to determine the degree of activation of selected muscles during walking on land and in water environment by using surface electromyography. The next component objective is to determine and compare dynamic co-contraction level of low extremity muscles during walking on land and in water. Methods: It is a pilot study which was attended by 5 participants. The average age of the research group was 67,2 years and was represented 3 men and 2 women. Activity of m. tibialis anterior, m. gastrocnemius, m. rectus femoris, m. biceps femoris and mm. erectores spinae in the level of ThL transition was recorded during walking on land and in water environment. EMG signal has been adjusted, analyzed and after that normalized EMG signal to MVC was compared in both environments. The records were compared both intraindividually and interindividually. At the end dynamic co-contraction level of selected muscles was evaluated and compared during gait in both environments. Results: Electromyographic analysis revealed that during walking in aquatic environment were analyzed muscles involved with less extent than during walking on land. Co-contraction level was lower in low...

Sledování tvarových změn kosterního svalu v závislosti na povrchové teplotě těla / Observing of the skeletal muscle shape changes depending on human body surface temperature

Frýdová, Aneta January 2015 (has links)
Title: Observing of the skeletal muscle shape changes depending on human body surface temperature Objectives: The aim of this work is to observe the cross-section changes of the m. rectus femoris depending on human body surface temperature changes. The cross section of the muscle was characterized by two dimensions: VDDM (ventrodorsal dimension of muscle) and LMDM (lateromedial dimension of muscle). The body temperature was affected by local positive and negative thermotherapy methods. Methods: The first part of the experiment focused on the selection of appropriate local positive and negative thermotherapy forms. Four of them were selected (two positive thermotherapy methods - Peat thermotherapy bags and infrared heater InfraPhil HP3616 and two negative thermotherapy methods - gel bag Cryoflex and Cryogen 3 device) for the main research. Twelve subjects participated on the main experiment. Selected local positive thermotherapy methods were applied on the centre of the subject's thighs, subsequently selected negative thermotherapy methods were applied. The body surface temperature was measured immediately before application, after 30 minutes of positive thermotherapy and after subsequent negative thermotherapy application. Ultrasound images of m. rectus femoris were taken at same time. VDDM and...
