Vliv behaviorální pozornosti na cenu akcií bank

Čajka, Ondřej January 2018 (has links)
This diploma thesis is based on the theory of behavioral attention and examines the effect of the search for negative words in conjunction with the name of the bank on the price and on the yield of the shares of these banks. As a sample, 12 global, publicly traded and significant banks were selected. In this work, the behavioral attention is identified as the level of search on Google. The panel regression with random effects is used in the work, and Bayesian Model Averaging is used to identify suitable variables. The data proves the effect of negative behavioral attention, when an increased level of attention diminishes yield and share price. The results are then subjected to a robustness analysis where the impact of behavioral attention is examined before, during, and after the financial crisis. Furthermore, the effect of regulation and the level of behavioral attention itself is examined. The diploma thesis corresponds to the knowledge of behavioral economics and confirms a certain irrational behavior of investors on the market.

Role eWOM v procese nákupného rozhodovania

Kucharovicová, Zuzana January 2020 (has links)
The Internet allows customers to share their experiences with, and opinions on, goods and services with other customers, that is, to engage in e-WOM communication. This paper consists of two major sections. The aim of the first one is to define the main e-WOM behaviour characteristics of Czech consumers and their motivations for transmission and exposure e-WOM behaviour. For this purpose, a questionnaire survey (n = 220) is conducted with a target group of people aged 16 to 54 years. The results indicate that the main reasons for exposure e-WOM behaviour are saving decision-making time, making better buying decisions, reducing cognitive dissonance and advice seeking when having product issues. In the case of transmission e-WOM behaviour, consumers are motivated by altruistic reasons, benefits of collective power and venting negative feelings. The second, experimental, section of this work examines the consumer's attention depending firstly on the e-WOM valence, the structural elements and the brand type, and secondly on the different characteristics of online reviews. In the first place, the results of the eye-tracking research (n = 24) illustrate a statistically significant impact of the interaction between the brand type and the e-WOM valence on consumer attention and in the second place it shows the dominance of the reviewer's name in attracting consumer attention. An in-depth interview is conducted in order to enlighten the results of eye-tracking research. Academic and managerial implications are discussed.

Dopravní kriminalita a její prevence / Traffic crime and its prevention

Lenner, Roman January 2015 (has links)
This Master's Thesis examines the issue of criminal law in the Czech road traffic sector and crime prevention. The Thesis tackles the basic concepts of traffic law and traffic accidents, which are the most visible results of traffic offenses, that cause damage to life, health and property. The problem of traffic accidents is their unpredictability, as no driver wants to cause them voluntarily. However, these are often the result of the driver's own behaviour. The Thesis offers a new approach to the issue of traffic accidents where the most common cause of accidents is the violation of traffic regulation. In my assessment, the driver's distraction, recklessness towards other drivers and a poor driving technique figures among the key factors. This statement is proved by an analysis of existing accident statistics and their comparison with the drivers' actual behaviour. The highest number of criminal offenses, such as manslaughter, personal injury or property damage is linked to the consequences of traffic accidents. These offenses are committed in most cases by gross negligence. The second group of criminal offenses consists of intentional crimes, which encompasses especially endangerment while intoxicated and justice obstruction, caused in most of the cases by driving a motor vehicle without being in hold of...

Efekt terapie kognitivních funkcí u pacientů s demencí / Impact of a cognitive function therapy on people with dementia

Nová, Jarmila January 2016 (has links)
This thesis occupies with a cognitive training efficiency with a focus on memory and attention of dementia diagnosed people, especially people with vascular dementia, mixed dementia or Alzheimer's disease. The theoretical part deals with dementia issues and current knowledge on the field of a cognitive and occupational therapy. The main empirical part goal is a determination of the cognitive training by dementia diagnosed people. The next goal is to find out, how much clients are satisfied with the cognitive function therapy. The cognitive function training is made within a period of 8 weeks in social institutions in Jirkov and Chomutov. The research sample is consisted of 24 clients (at the age of 65 and more) with diagnosed Alzheimer's disease, vascular or mixed dementia, they were divided into an experimental and comparative group. Clients are evaluated before the intervention and after the intervention using Mini-Mental Examination test (MMSE), Trail Making test, part A (TMT:A and Swwartz scale of the therapy evaluation (SOS-10). Statistically significant results of set significance rate (p < 0,05) were found by the test MMSE (0,01 < 0,05) and scale SOS-10 (0,02 < 0,05), but the test TMT:A (0,09 > 0,05) hasn't confirmed therapy efficiency from the reason of the small research sample. Those...

Psychofyziologické koreláty emocí a paměti / Psychophysiological correlates of emotion and memory

Jindrová, Miroslava January 2019 (has links)
The first aim was to determine the baseline psychophysiological correlates in healthy subjects as a first necessary step towards the long-term goal of application the psychophysiological techniques in diagnostics mood and cognitive disorders. The second aim was to establish an easily applicable set of tests for evaluating emotional and memory processes by non-invasive psychophysiological methods. EEG, GSR, and eye-tracking data from 100 participants without any neurological or psychiatric disorders were obtained during watching affective pictures and performing memory tests. The spectral powers were computed for each 500 ms of the stimuli in theta, alpha, beta1, beta2 and beta3 bands in 12 areas of the brain. Lower alpha and higher beta3 power was related to higher emotional intensity. Negative emotions were distinguished in spatio-temporal changes of beta1 power and positive emotions showed higher beta3 power in right temporal region. Memory encoding showed higher alpha power. Lower theta and higher alpha power in central regions and overall increase of beta bands were observed during successful memory retrieval. A summary of spatio-temporal spectral correlates to emotional and memory processes was provided by this work. Key words: Electroencephalography, electrodermal activity, psychophysiology,...

: Intervenční metody ke zlepšení kognitivního výkonu u dětí s ADHD / Interventional methods for improving cognitive performance in case of children with ADHD

Baierová, Aneta January 2019 (has links)
The thesis describes cognitive abilities and attention of children and adolescents with ADHD. It deals with therapeutic and intervention strategies that can be used to reduce symptomes of the disease and to improve cognitive performance of people with the diagnosis. The theoretical part of the thesis summarizes findings about attention and the structure of cognitive abilities of people with ADHD. A separate chapter lists intervention approaches used in the context of the diagnosis, such as pharmacotherapy, psychotherapy, and also different kinds of alternative approaches (relaxation, exercises, food complements, compensatory tools etc.). In the empirical part we examine a specific intervention, use of earplugs to eliminate the background noise, can improve the cognitive performance of children with ADHD. The research involved fourteen children with the diagnosis of ADHD. The CAS 2 assessment battery was used to measure their cognitive skills. The statistical analysis confirmed the difference between the cognitive profile of children with ADHD and normal population in executive functioning without working memory. When using the earplugs children with ADHD had better results in the overall score and on the planning scale and successive processes scale. Keywords: Attention, ADHD, therapy of ADHD, earplugs.

Možnosti tvůrčí herecké práce v uzavřené divadelní skupině / The possibilities of creative work in an enclosed theatrical group

Krippnerová, Tereza January 2015 (has links)
The main aim of the thesis is to explore the possibilities of creative work in an enclosed group of actors. The essential question to be answered is, how can the actor or the group itself explore and further develop creative potential of the individual or how it can limit development of the acting potential on the other hand. The thesis among others focuses on the obstacles which one needs to overcome, what are some of the rules to follow, in order for this "ecosystem" to work and successfully develop further on. The thesis provides unique insight into enclosed group of actors called Gruppo Jobel, the work within the group is reflected on the background of studies on Prague's DAMU theater acting and supported by wide span of related literature. The outcome of the thesis is mainly the inspiration, which can positively influence actors when studying and practicing the theater plays or can be influential in other creative fields related to theater and acting in general.
