The thesis deals with the topic of safety and health protection of pre-school children. It focuses on education opportunities for children in nursery school. The aim of the work is to highlight the importance of health and safety education for pre-school-age children and to propose the subsequent possible implementation of a project called Safe in danger into the education of pre- school-age children. The work summaries theoretical knowledge about the developmental peculiarities of a child of pre-school age and possible risks of accidents. There is a condensed legislative framework that is binding on pre-school education, which implies principles for the safety and health of children and presents the expected outcomes formulated in the Framework Education Programme for pre-school education in the area. The theoretical section points to an investigation in the field of selected issues by the Czech School Inspection and presents an overview of programs, projects and materials that can be used to educate children on this issue. The empirical part of the work uses the method of action research. The object of my disertation is connection poetry and locomotion with pre-school children. The goal of my research is realize, which poems and motions are prefered by children and what is the reason of their choose. The methods in my dissertation are interview, experiment and observation. All of these methods detect relation of children to poetry and locomotion. I have discovered the interesting style of work with pre-school children. The children have appreciated various language and form resources. I have discovered, that children love particularly dynamical and simple activities, which enable maximum discharge of energy. I will trying to choose the poetry and locomotion, which is the nearest for pre- school age.I hope, that my discovered will be interesting inspiration for teacher in kindergarten.

PaedDr. Jiřina Klenková, Ph.D. Abstract: The submitted thesis is focused on evaluation of lexical - semantic levels of language in children in late pre-school age, it specifically follows up their achievement in parts of receptive and expressive vocabulary. The measurement is implemented through the diagnostic test method which was compiled on the basis of foreign inspiration drawn especially from anglophone linguistic ambience. The lexicon is measured in intact population and in children with specific language impairment with the aim to compare obtained data. Developed findings should help to increase efficiency of logopedic intervention in content part of the speech. The project is based on the fact that currently there are no useful update tests available in the Czech Republic for global evaluation of lexicon. The aim of my dissertation was to describe the responsibilities of teachers in institutional pre-school education and how they bolster the moral development of pre-school age children, which takes place in the context of the children's mental progress and the formation of moral values gained from their families. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part describes the moral progress of pre-school age children, educational and institutional strategies to develop the moral consciousness and good behavior of pre-school age children and the abilities and skills of teachers in the field of ethics education. The practical part describes the results of my research, which mainly surveys activities that improve the moral progress of children used in practice by teachers in nursery schools. The following chapter makes sugestions and evaluates the execution of educational projects aimed at the ethical education of pre-school age children. This work contibutes to the understanding of observations of the moral progress of a pre-school age child with connections to the practices and abilities of teachers in nursery schools. This thesis deals with the book as a medium and its comparison with other media available in the nursery schools in the Czech Republic. There is a definition of the media and the book in relation to a child of the pre-school age in the first part. This theoretical part is followed by an investigative survey carried out in nursery schools, which is focused on the views of teachers in nursery schools, parents and children as well. The final section depicts the project how the book can be used during the educational process in a nursery school.

My thesis paper is focused on children swimming from their birth to early school age. The pivotal part of the paper is the comparison of swimming abilities between primary school children who have passed pre-school swimming training and those who have had no training at all. Theoretical framework of the paper is then focused on general swimming theory, characteristics of children's evolutionary stages within the context of swimming and definition of basic swimming skills.

The thesis deals with the issue of the movement activities of pre-school age children. Movement is built into the plane of an important aspect in the holistic development of the pre- school age child whose absence may endanger this development. In the theoretical part are defined terms of movement, basic motor skills and mapping their development with a focus on the specifics of pre-school age. Also the position of the movement activity is approaching in pre-school education. The practical section compares the results of motor test pre-school age children from selected kindergarten and evaluated in relation to their conditions.

The aim of the diploma work is the identification of the common as well as the different aspects of children's drawings from both the artistic and developmental perspective. The goal of this thesis is to assemblele a record sheet on theoretical and empirical knowledge, which could also serve as a guide for kindergarten teachers when handling children's drawing. The theoretical part is split into two chapters: the development of personality of a preschool child, where the developmental stages from prenatal to preschool age are described; and children's drawing describing the progression, characteristic features, most common motifs and their possible utilisation in practice. The empirical part deals with qualitative research of preschool children focusing on analysis and comparison of children's drawing. An important part of the thesis is the record sheet, which is included in the empirical part.

Title Use of a literary text in a dramatic project Summary The work deals in its theoretical part with definition of dramaturgy; means, approaches and methodology of creative dramaturgy. What is more, it deals with possibility of using the literature (fairytale) in work with prep school children. The practical part deals with a project, which applies the fairytale text in dramaturgy in educational announcement of a prep school. It applies different dramatics, feelings and sense, pantomimic and other plays during February. The project is finally assessed with focus on affectivity of applied means, approaches and methodology of creative dramaturgy with respect to personality of the prep school children.
