The present diploma thesis is an exegetical attempt to interpret Paul's parenesis in his Letter to the Romans 14,1-15,13. It tries to find answers to the following questions: Who are the "strong in faith" (15:1)? Who are the "weak in faith" (14:1)? What "day" is meant in chapter 14:5? What kind of dietary restrictions are in the background of 14:2? What is the solution that Paul suggests? The analysis has led to the following conclusions: Paul is trying to resolve a particular dispute between two groups of believers in Rome. The "weak" probably had a problem with the "strong" eating the meat and drinking the wine defiled with idolatry (14:21) and not keeping fasting days, or certain Jewish feast days (14:3). So, the "weak" may be identified as the Jewish Christians and the "strong" with the Christians of gentile origins. Paul tries to move both groups away from judging each other (14:3) to respect the opinion of the other group (14:4) and leads them above all to mutually build loving relationships to each other (14:19). The diploma thesis is focused on the evaluation of legislation for special transport between the Czech Republic and some member states of the European Union. The term special transport comprises the transport of very heavy and oversize loads which exceed limits allowed by the legislation of member states and the European Union itself. The diploma thesis is preferentially concentrated on regulations providing limit dimensions, transport conditions and elements that ensure safe transport of loads to the target destinations – Germany, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom. The final document is going to become the overview of information for freighters who can apply it in the process of preparation and the following ensuring of oversize loads to the countries, see above. The results of the diploma thesis can be applied by the institutions in the branch of international freight, the police or the institutions of the public administration.

The purpose of the presented thesis is to analyse the developments of the regulatory framework relating to the taking up and pursuit of the business of credit institutions within the European Union (EU). One of the main reasons for this research is the development of the regulatory framework in the aftermath of the financial crises which showed its destructive effects after the financial collapse of Lehman Brothers in September 2008. The EU regulatory respond to the crisis led to the establishment of the new European System of Financial Supervision (ESFS). The new regulatory framework affects not only the role of the national standard setters and the work of national supervisory authorities but also rights and duties of all regulated and supervised entities of the financial market. The thesis is composed of five chapters. Each of them is dealing with the development of the regulatory framework concerning technical instruments of prudential supervision in the area of credit institutions. The introductory Chapter One defines instruments of prudential supervision which are applied by credit institutions and their supervisors under the present so- called Capital requirement directives (CRD).
