This diploma thesis deals with the crime prevention in the Czech Republic, particularly within the region of the Statutory town of Kladno. The introductory part includes the explanation of relevant terms related to criminality, and the criminality connections outline, criminology and crime prevention. This is followed by the analysis of legal norms, strategic documents, aims and crime prevention priorities at national and regional levels. Individual crime prevention management levels are described and staffing for crime prevention with the focus on Kladno Municipality is analysed. At municipal level the organisational changes caused by the need of preventive measures integration within the authority of Kladno are taken into consideration. The thesis also outlines the potential of synergic crime prevention impacts alongside the solution of social exclusion in the area of Kladno; current situation is reviewed. The empirical part of the thesis is based on the project plans for crime prevention in the period of 2009-2013. Social, economic and ethical aspects are analysed. Markéta Vychodilová Title Evaluation of the effectiveness of physiotherapy practice in prevention of falls -literature review Objectives The aim of this thesis is to find out which physiotherapeutic methods and techniques are currently used to prevent falls in seniors and which of these methods appear to be most effective in preventing falls. Furthermore, the work is focused on summarizing current knowledge of this issue. Methods The thesis is processed in the form of literature review and has an analytical-descriptive character. The studies used meet the predetermined criteria. The thesis is divided into several parts. In the first part, which is called theoretical basis, are described mainly physiotherapeutic methods and techniques, which are currently used to ensure the prevention of falls in seniors. The second part, part of the results, summarizes these physiotherapeutic techniques and methods and evaluates their effect. The thesis is concluded with a discussion, which is focused mainly on two basic research questions of the thesis. Qualified persons in the field of occupational risks Abstract Qualified persons in the field of occupational risks are persons dealing with different levels of risk, different extent and type of risks. In this set is not only the person for health and safety, but there are other qualified persons as well. For example, a qualified person who provides and performs the ccupational health services, a qualified person for fire protection, a construction safety coordinator, as well as an inspection technician of dedicated technical equipment, etc. A key qualified person in occupational risk and health and safety prevention is a person who assist employers in occupational risk prevention by managing risk identification, providing risk assesments, identification of source and risks causes and incidents.
