This thesis is about productivity and its metering. It is devided into two parts. The first part is focused on theoretical apparatus. The second part contains the calculations of total producitivity and partial productivities (for all factors of production) and their year-by-year progressn (index of total productivity, index of partial productivities). Last part of the thesis describes the link between the analysis of productivity and the economic value added (EVA). The analysis was made for 7 years (2002 - 2008). The calculations were made for Sokolovská uhelná, právní nástupce, a.s.

Diplomová práce s názvem Analýza efektivnosti výroby společnosti TM ELITEX s.r.o. je rozdělena do dvou hlavních částí. První část se zabývá popisem teoretického aparátu k provedení analýzy efektivnosti výroby s využitím Montgomeryho indexů a praktickou aplikací těchto indexů na data společnosti TM ELITEX s.r.o. Jejím cílem je zjištění parciálních produktivit spolu s celkovou produktivitou podniku a jejich změn a určení vlivu změn produktivity a dalších vlivů na změnu ekonomické přidané hodnoty. My essay is about productivity and its metering. I distributed it into three parts. In the first part I describe theoretic apparatus. The second part contains calculations of total and partial productivity and year-on-year confrontation. Analysis was made for 6 years, it means from 2003 to 2008. In the last part, there I define possibilities, how we can escalate productivity. I wanted to show you very specific production for pharmaceutical and food-processing industry, for which Pharming a.s. produces.

Konvergence cenové hladiny České republiky ke státům Evropské unie je posuzována prostřednictvím relativní ceny neobchodovatelných statků. Dynamika relativní ceny neobchodovatelných statků je vysvětlena vývojem celkové produktivity faktorů v obchodovatelném a neobchodovatelném sektoru. Výchozí koncepci poskytuje Balassův-Samuelsonův model a jeho modifikace, z nichž jsou odvozeny experimentálně ověřované regresní rovnice. Z výsledků je patrné, že relativní cena neobchodovatelných statků roste v České republice v závislosti na růstu kapitálové zásoby prokazatelně vyšším tempem než v Německu a EU15, a to zejména v důsledku relativně vyšší citlivosti celkové produktivity faktorů v obchodovatelném sektoru. Odhadnuté modely tedy potvrzují konvergenci cenové hladiny České republiky k Německu a EU15.

This thesis deals with the productivity of enterprise, the possibilities of its measurement and increasing productivity through the total productive maintenance. The theoretical part firstly focuses on the measuring total productivity in homogeneous and heterogeneous production and calculation of partial productivities of each production factor. Secondly, it deals with the concept of a total productive maintenance as one of the possible approaches to increasing productivity. In the practical part the analysis of productivity for the years 2004 to 2010 is made and evaluated the use of approaches and tools of total productive maintenance in specific enterprise.

The thesis deals with the issue of productivity and its measurement. It is divided into two parts. The first, methodological part describes the theoretical apparatus of total productivity, which the second, practical part is based on. It deals with analyzing of productivity in the enterprise EUROVIA-Kameňolomy s.r.o. The introductory chapters focuse on the introduction of a company and description of the industry in which the company operates. Other chapters are devoted to the calculations of total productivity, partial productivities of different factors of production and their year-to-year comparisons calculated by indexes.

This thesis describes and followed evaluation of the effectiveness the payroll system in selected company. The theoretical part of the work process knowledge issues payroll system, including methods leading to evaluate the effectiveness of the payroll system. The practical part is a description of the selected company and its payroll system. In the analysis are processed indicators leading to evaluate the effectiveness of human capital, which are indicators of labor productivity. On the basis of the results arising from the analysis are applied at the end of the practical part includes suggestions that can lead to increased efficiency of human capital of the company.

The objective of this thesis is to compare performances of companies operating in regulated industries.The selected industries are natural gas and electricity distribution, water and sewerage systems operation and railway maintenance. Two methodological approaches are used throughout the thesis, each in its own part. The first one focuses on the financial analysis, while the other one uses the total factor productivity analysis. The latter is based on physical units typical for their respective sectors. As the conclusion of this thesis both approaches and the results of individual companies are compared.
