Hodnocení produktivity pracovníků skladu / Evaluation of warehouse workers productivity

Štěpánková, Anna January 2015 (has links)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to create a new system to measure and evaluate the productivity of warehouse processes in Euromedia books wholesale warehouse. The Warehouse management system (WMS) is implemented in the warehouse, so the company has information about processes within warehouse. However, the system does not have any tool to measure and report the productivity of individual workers and shifts. So the manager of the warehouse does not have enough data for efficient human resource management. The basics of warehousing and the warehousing interrelationships are described in theoretical part of the thesis. The processes within warehouse are firstly described in general and then with direct connection to processes in the warehouse of the company Euromedia. The analytical part is dedicated to detailed analysis of output data from WMS from the time period from February until May 2015.The outcome of this analysis is a suggestion how to assign individual workers to shifts, how to measure the productivity of individual processes and how the productivities of different processes can be compared. At the end of the thesis, there are recommendations how to measure the productivity now and how to proceed in the future to achieve a more precise outcome of the productivity measurement. The proposed measures contribute to better and more efficient human resources management in Euromedias wholesales warehouse.

Odhady vícefaktorové produktivity / Total Factor Productivity Estimates

Vltavská, Kristýna January 2011 (has links)
The aims of the dissertation thesis are to provide the comprehensive economic-statistical viewpoint on the issue of estimating labour productivity and total factor productivity; to evaluate the quality of the available data sources and to test the usage of new inputs to the production function in the Czech Republic. The first chapter provides a theoretical basis for subsequent estimates of labour productivity and total factor productivity. The second and third chapters concentrate on a detailed definition of data sources and definitions of input and output indicators in the production function. Moreover, the second chapter introduces new approaches to the estimation of the input indicators to the production function (labour services, capital services). The fourth chapter deals with estimates of labour productivity. Specifically, the relationship of labour productivity and educational structures are examined as well as estimates for regions of the Czech Republic and estimates for non-market industry that do not allow the use of the traditional approach. The fifth chapter focuses on possible particularization and improvement of the estimation of total factor productivity using new input variables. The same chapter further compares the index number approach and econometric approach including the test of constant returns to scale. The estimation of total factor productivity in individual Czech regions is also part of the chapter.

Eseje v aplikované meta-analýze / Essays in Applied Meta-Analysis

Polák, Petr January 2020 (has links)
The dissertation consists of three papers presenting applications of meta-analysis in economics and introductory chapter which discusses the development of meta-analysis in author's perspective as well as strengths and weaknesses of this quantitative method to synthesize empirical research. In the first paper analyses the impact of information and communication technology investments on productivity. The second paper focuses on the trade effect of the euro. In the third investigates the relation between international trade flows and trade costs.

Relativní pylové produktivity hlavních středoevropských dřevin v modelovém území Křivoklátsko / Relative pollen productivity estimates of main tree taxa of Central Europe in model area Křivoklátsko.

Fořtová, Pavlína January 2016 (has links)
Pollen spectra found in sediments enable the research of quantitative changes in vegetation composition in the past. The fact is conditioned upon assumption of unchangeable linear relationship between abundance of pollen and the vegetation that is responsible for its production. Calibration of this relationship is experimentally performed on modern pollen samples and current vegetation. Relative pollen produktivity etimates (PPEs) represents basic parameters for the conversion of proportional pollen data into the vegetational ones. Their knowledge is indispensible for the quantitative vegetation restoration and for the simulating of the processes of pollen dispersion and deposition. PPEs estimation is performed by ERV model which corrects nonlinear relationship of proportional pollen and vegetation data back to the linear relationship. ERV model estimates PPEs values together with values of pollen background by maximum likelihood method. Knowledge of PPEs of main tree species is crucial for the understanding of processes which takes place on the level of landscape scale. Model area of Křivoklátsko was selected due to its high forest coverage and tree diversity. Twenty-four localities were chosen upon stratified random selection. Moss polsters containing modern pollen loading were taken and detailed...

Produkční funkce v makroekonomii

Koláčková, Adéla January 2015 (has links)
Diploma thesis is concerned with production functions and their utilization in macroeconomics. Theoretical part describes and summaries general knowledge about production functions and their basics in macroeconomic theory. Produc-tions functions are described from the point of productivity measurement and estimation of potential product. In theoretical part, indicators of productivity and their alternatives are sum up. Practical part is based on estimation of Cobb-Douglas, CES and Sato produc-tion functions by least squares and non-linear least squares method. Results are compared and discussed with similar works in conclusion of thesis.

Vztah diverzity a produktivity v travinných společenstvech a jeho mechanismy

LISNER, Aleš January 2017 (has links)
The best estimates of environmental productivity and their relationship to species diversity on different spatial scales have been studied in grassland communities in an observational study. The fertilization effect on height, growth rate, survival rate and changes in species composition has been studied on an oligotrophic wet meadow in a manipulative experiment.

Měření výkonnosti lidského kapitálu v podniku / Measuring the performance of human capital in the company

PIKHARTOVÁ, Aneta January 2013 (has links)
The main point of my thesis is a complete analysis of the performance of human capital, which can be found in the practical part of the thesis. Synthesis of results and recommendations are summarized in the penultimate chapter. The company innovated the measurement of the performance of its employees in 2010 through the introduction of a new monitoring system Citect SCADA which gives the employee evaluation new dimension, which enabled to increase productivity and reduce labor expenses.

Možnosti zvyšování produktivity a zlepšování firemních procesů pomocí metod a nástrojů průmyslového inženýrství a systémů zavádění štíhlé výroby / The possibility of increasing productivity and improving business processes using methods and tools of industrial engineering and systems implementation of lean manufacturing

KOTTOVÁ, Jitka January 2009 (has links)
This diploma thesis concerns the possibility of increasing productivity and improving business processes using methods and tools of industrial engineering and systems implementation of lean manufacturing in the company Schwan-STABILO ČR, s.r.o. The concept of lean production is known from the 50 of the last century and was first applied to the Japanese automaker Toyota, which due to its production system (Toyota Production System) was able to produce faster, cheaper and above all to a higher standard than its Western competitors. The main objective of this thesis is an analysis of the current state of the process and drafting of the required state of the process so that waste can be eliminated and productivity increased. With the implementation of lean methods and tools of production has been achieved the following improvements: - reduce the number of operators from the current 9 to shift to 5 operators in the shift, - increase the overall efficiency of facilities by more than 10 %, - reduction of machines from an average of 83 minutes to 22 minutes, - reducing the continuous production period of 59 days (74,14 days that for 15 days), - decreasing of the stock material, semi finished products and finished products from 404 790 pieces to 82 350 pieces.
