Studie efektivnosti využití strojů ve vybraném provozu / The Study of Effectiveness of the Use of Machines in the Selected OperationStrnad, Miroslav January 2013 (has links)
Master thesis is focused on the study of effectiveness of selected machines in the company through indicators of Overall Equipment Effectiveness. The aim is to increase productivity of machinery by monitoring machine run. Analyses are performed on selected machines which are found out downtimes reducing machine run. Methods and tools of lean manufacturing are used for determine downtimes as a core part. Specifically, the implementation of the first phase of TPM – “Total Productive Maintenance” which is used in manufacturing, for determine current status of machines. Maintenance of machinery is also referred in the master thesis as important part of Overall Equipment Effectiveness. Individual factors of OEE are identified as a result of these analyses which are directly affected to productivity of machines. The output of these analyses is to design countermeasures against each downtime and system design of monitoring tools including technical and economical evaluation. Machine monitoring with automatic data collection based on calculated data is suitable option for the company.

The thesis Dynamic Loewenstein occupational therapy cognitive assessment in individuals after obtaining brain injury in working age deals with a comparison of the level of the brain injured and non-brain injured people's cognitive functions with the aid of the Loewenstein Occupational Therapy Cognitive Assessment battery (DLOTCA). The theoretical part is focused on an issue of the acquired brain injury, a description of cognitive areas and as well their pathology due to this injury. The aim of the practical part is to test the cognitive functions with the aid of the Loewenstein Occupational Therapy Cognitive Assessment. The survey's main object is the applicability of the working version of the Loewenstein Occupational Therapy Cognitive Assessment battery (DLOTCA), its translated version. The testing was carried out on seventy probands devided into three groups. Healthy people (n=50), cerebrovascular accident patients (n=10) and traumatic brain injury patients (n=10). The central theme of the diploma thesis is incorporation of media education at the first stage of primary school. The theoretical part of the thesis briefly defines the basic concepts related to media education, offers an insight into historcal background and gradual integration of media education into the Czech educational system and, last but not least, introduces current state of this cross-curricular topic at Czech schools. The practical part is devoted to a research survey aimed at finding out which didactic topics of media education are mostly reflected in educational materials intended for the first stage of primary school and at the same time at ascertaining how the pupils are mostly involved in media education in terms of task assignments contained in teaching materials. The results of the research show that the most frequently reflected topics of media education that appear in educational materials are advertising, its regulation and influence and characteristics and function of traditional media. In case of the method of pupils involvement in media education, the research findings show that pupils are mostly called upon to receptive activities. To obtain the results of the research survey, qualitative content analysis of selected teaching materials was used.

This dissertation is focused on a research of using methods of Lean Production in working environment of selected companies in the Czech Republic. In the introduction the author mentioned theoretic facts about Lean Production, which is originally from Japan. The rest of dissertation also included characteristics of selected companies and description of situations in companies before and after using Lean Production methods. At the end of each part we can find conclusion and suggestion of specific new steps for these companies. A company, called Linde Pohony s.r.o. Český Krumlov, have been using these methods: TPM, 5S and visual management. In a company Rohde & Schwarz, which is located in Vimperk, have been using the methods of Lean Production. : Kanban and also visual management. And a company ČSAT a.s. Praha have been testing methods of Lean Production: MUDA, 5S, Kaizen with a diagram of Ishikawa. In conclusion of the dissertation assumptions were evaluated. The overall summary of exercising Lean Production in companies - Linde Pohony s.r.o. Český Krumlov, ČSAT a.s. Praha a Rhode & Schwarz - Vimperk, were mentioned as well. Outcomes of the dissertation can be used for companies, which had been analyzing or for other companies with similar specializations. The dissertation provides the analysis of utilization selected Japanese principles of Lean Production in Czech companies.

The practical part addresses a research of the leisure-time-activities preferences of working middle-aged individuals, focusing on self-realization and self-surpassing.It describes methods used in a performed research, evaluates obtained data and at the conclusion summarizes the results of the research.

Developing writing as a key communication skill Abstract The thesis focuses on the development of writing, with special emphasis being put on the mandatory written essay that is required as a part of the foreign language maturita exam. The opening chapters introduce the definition of writing skill and theoretically propose ways to improve and develop the skill, as well as examine the factors that influence its quality. Further methods and approaches centered on writing are suggested to be utilised in lessons. Furthermore, RWCT methods along with creative writing techniques are presented. These particular methods are observed in the research following two control groups of students and their writing skills development. The aim was to juxtapose and compare the groups in question, with one of the groups being subjected to alternative methods. It also aims to analyse a textbook in terms of featured exercises in regards to the writing skill development. A presentation of suitable activities that could be used in classes to improve the quality of writing is an essential part of the thesis, as well as the examination of related curricular documents in the Czech educational system, especially concerning the maturita exam. This diploma thesis, Didactic exploitation of the francophonie on the islands of the Indian Ocean, resulted from insufficient outcomes of a questionnaire focusing on the francophonie and francophone facts of the overseas territories located in the Indian Ocean. The diploma thesis consists of three main parts which are subsequently divided into subchapters. The first part explains the choice, focus and targets of the questionnaire and provides its evaluation as well. The theoretical part aims at clarifying and defining receptive and productive competence from a didactic viewpoint with regard to language level A2 and B1, given by CEFRL. The practical part follows with a description of created worksheets always containing exercises that aim firstly at receptive competence- reading, and then at productive competence- writing. Texts together with exercises focus on geographical facts, culture and tradition, language situation and language oddities of the following French overseas territories in the Indian Ocean: Réunion, Madagascar, Mayotte, Seychelles, Comoros, and Mauritius.
