This Master thesis explores the area of film festivals. The first section describes the film festivals and their categorization. For a better comprehension of the issues part of the work is dedicated to the general and Czech history of film festivals. The work is focused on the interest groups and their impact on the functioning of film festivals. The current situation is analyzed through a selected case of the International Film Festival Karlovy Vary. All program activities are analyzed. The work describes the processes that take place during the organization of the film festival and also explores its internal and external conditions. It presents the structure of the organization team and summarizes responsibilities of its positions.

The diploma thesis explores relationship between both czech cine and television fairy tales and the Czech Television, analysing a structure of Christmas programme schedules between years 2004 and 2014. The first part defines fairy tales and their function in the context of literary genre and historical evolution, then it continues to a cinematographic and television adaptations of fairy tales. It also includes the psychological aspect of fairy tales. The second part considers fairy tales as mediated message and reveals possible influence of mass media related to their function. It is based on social construction of reality theory, media systems dependency theory and uses and gratifications theory. The third part refers to the Czech Television as to a public service media with specific targets and attitude to the broadcasting and production of fairy tales. At the same time, it mentions the most assigned directors, most broadcasted fairy tales and explains the way how the Czech Television works with them in the programme schedule. In the fourth part there was a quantitative analysis of Christmas programme schedules of the Czech Television made and so was a comparison of individual seasons, days and dayparts. Diplomová práce analyzuje činnosti Místní akční skupiny Jemnicko, o.p.s. Teoretická část práce obsahuje základní, zákonem upravené, formy spolupráce obcí a také jejich praktické příklady v praxi. Text uvádí problematiku financování místních akčních skupin na národní a evropské úrovni. Praktická část analyzuje investiční a neinvestiční projekty, které zrealizovala MAS Jemnicko, o.p.s. v minulých letech. Analýzy hodnotily její úspěšnost v získávání finančních prostředků, využitelnost a obsazenost jednotlivých projektů a byly doplněny o výsledky dotazníkového šetření.

Diploma thesis, titled " Problems of procurement financed by the budget of the European Union" is concerned with the status of the task public procurement orders financed from the budger of the European Union legislation. Literature search contaons basic information related to the issue. In the next part is the identification, evaluation, the most common examples of misconduct and for a better understanding of the issue. In the context of specific operational programmes are listed misconduct when entering and their consequences.

The Master's thesis "The Role and Importance of Humorous Television Programs in Czechoslovakia in The Years of Normalization. The Phenomenon of a Comic Pair Lasica and Satinský,"discusses the importance of humorous shows within the program structure of the Czechoslovak Television in 1969-1989. The work deals with the issues of television entertainment and the developments that affect a number of criteria. The work points to the former television entertainment context, the possibility of posting humorous programs, and their position in the television program. The work will identify the type and frequency of various entertainment programs and their presenters as well as discuss their contribution to television entertainment. The paper seeks to deepen its analysis of television entertainment, namely in the humorous sessions of Milan Lasica and Julius Satinský. Their artistic activity compared to television based on criteria such as: frequency, form of humor, specific pairs etc., with other comics CST sessions will be analysed. An important part of the analysis will be means of expression used by comedians in broadcasts.

Diploma thesis "Launch of the public-service culture channel: Broadcast analysis of ČT art until the year 2014" describes the origin and development of the channel ČT art, including an analysis of how it influenced the transformation of ČT2. This thesis, therefore, includes the programme composition of both channels monitoring the period from autumn 2013 to autumn 2014, as well as the programme composition of ČT2 from autumn 2012. This allows us to evaluate how ČT2 attended to cultural broadcasting before the launch of the new and thematically specialized channel ČT art. Moreover, the thesis tries to point out the trends taking place in television broadcasting such as digitalization, fragmentation of TV audiences and media convergence. These trends are illustrated by using specific examples from the Czech Television, as well as the theoretical foundation. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on describing public-service media, services they provide and their roles in fulfilling the cultural needs of society. In addition, it also draws attention to examples of culturally oriented channels within Europe. This thesis surveys the development of education programmes variety broadcast by the Czech Television from 1992 to 2010. The main tendencies of pragramme creation are illustrated on the background of specific political, social and technological context characteristic for the Czech Republic in the period concerned. The theoretical part gathers some relevant information from the fields of sociology, psychology and media studies connected to the socialization process, with special focus on children. One separate chapter is then dedicated to the issue of education programme definition, another to the legislative and further social role of the Czech television in relation to education. By means of annual almanacs, papers, PROVYS software system, internal and public documents research, as well as a number of interviews with current or former employees of the Czech television, the empirical part illustrates the development and changes referring to the period studied. The result of this is an extensive image of the main tendencies of television education development produces by groups or centers in charge. The subject of this dissertation is the analysis of possibilities for financing business projects in the tourism sphere. Partial aims are study and comparison of program documentations and also monitoring of procedure leading to acquisition of financial support and actual project proposal. I´ve developed the project according to the rules for regional operation program Jihozápad and according to the directions from the applicant´s handbook, which I´ve used for examining the study of performability, the Cost - Benefit Analysis, Cash flow, time schedule and other necessary analyses. The project focuses on the services development in water tourism sphere of given locality. A concrete task is set to establish a refreshment store with employees´ background. On the ground floor of the building there will be a new restroom, connected to a newly built sewage station. Last planned action is a drilled well with supplements. The specific task of the project is edulcorating and extending the time spent by the visitors in our camp and providing better conditions for the employees. The project is based on the presumption of enhancing the quality of services will attract both water sportsmen and local citizens, cyclotourists and other interest groups.

Diploma Thespis is focused on development, parameters and construction of one-phase induction motor underplayed by calculations. Emphasis was dealt to simplify motor development process by developed computer program. Program calculations were approved by parallel by hand calculations and by experimental measuring of real processed motor.
