Theme of this thesis is practical realization of so-called Island model which is one of way of parallel genetic programming. First part is theoretical. This part is describing terms of genetic programming, age-layered population structure and island model. In second part of thesis is described realization of island model in Java language.

he main purpose of this semestral thesis is to get to know programming of Atmel AVR microcontroller, working with SD/MMC cards, working with ethernet (TCP/IP) to create a standalone programmer of AVR microcontroller with ethernet connectivity. The first part deals with the questions of programming theory of memories inside microcontrollers and description of programming algorithm. The most used programming method is called „In System Programming“ - ISP. This method provides easy and fast manipulaton. Concept of this programmer is designed for this ISP method. In this thesis is too explain how to work SD/MMC card and file systém FAT16. This knowledges are necesary to store binary program inside standalone programmer. In final part and in attachments there is hardware design, electrical scheme, bill of materials, printed circuit board.

The thesis deals with recent problems of waste management in the Czech Republic. In connection with the existing software implementation, the author focuses on the gradual development of advanced mathematical programming models, which generalize existing approaches. The author applies acquired knowledge in the areas of network flows, linear, integer, and stochastic programming. The important role is played by modifications and transformations of the discussed models. They are further used to obtain the experimental results for real-world input data by implementation in GAMS.

This diploma thesis is focused on parametric programming and creation of user cycles in CNC machine tools in control system Sinumerik 840 D sl / 828 D. The first part contains a theoretical introduction to programming and creation of graphical support of the cycle. In the second part there are practical examples with descriptions and explanations that can act as a guide for creation of parametrical programs. These samples are experimentally verified at the end of the work.

This paper deals with the possibilities for load balancing and clustering of an existing server for speech processing. The paper analyzes problems of load balancing and clustering. There are also described the concepts of network programming and options for I/O processing. A new design of a load balancer is created, fully customized for the needs of speech processing server. This newly designed load balancer is implemented and thoroughly tested.

This diploma thesis deals with the optimization of production structure in a selected company. The aim of the thesis is to propose mathematical models which support decision making on the structure of plant and livestock production. The introductory part of the thesis describes theory of operational research, agricultural production and subsidies. The later part includes mathematical models designed to maximize profit or minimize costs where subsidies are also counted. Random parameters in the objective function are taken into account.

This thesis has the goal of finding optimal structure of production in the agricul-tural company ZEMOS, a.s. The work focuses on assessing the possibility of using mathematical models, which serving as a tool to aid support in optimizing the crop structure and livestock production in the chosen Agriculture company. The aim is to suggest suitable optimization tools for crop planning and livestock pro-duction structure. The thesis output is a so called stochastic models in order to maximize profits and minimize costs. Optimization is implemented by multiple criteria, taking into account the effect of grants on decision-making.

This diploma thesis deal with tree genetic programming algorithm. This idea is applied for solving symbolic regression tasks as well designs image filters. At first are introduced a basic concept of genetic programming and reduction of solution space. The next part presents own implementation and achieved results. Result of this work is modular system for making image filters define by specific parameters.

The thesis deals with possibilities of mathematical modeling for public university budgets. Firstly, external conditions of public university financial inflows are discussed and~illustrated by using particular data. The related basic legislature is introduced. In~the~next part, internal financial flows are described the help of a general scheme. Step-by-step, a mathematical model of the university budget was built with using analysis of existing data, rules and formulas. The proposed model represents nonlinear multi–stage scenario-based stochastic programme, involving linear and network-flow like constraints. It allows to take into account more objective functions and related parametric analysis. The model was implemented in the algebraic modeling system GAMS with~interface to MS Excel. The aim of the presented mathematical model was not to offer a tool that would be used for automatic distribution of financial resources of the university, but to give flexible possibilities to its user to realize computational experiments and in this way to achieve a deeper insight into the modeled problem.

This thesis points to the knowledge of milling technologies and the various possibilities by programming CNC machines. Further shortly describes hard materials, with methods of their machining and basics of workpiece clamping. Explains and points out to the various software options Sinumerik Operate 4.4 - ShopMill during processing program of designed component produced by using milling technology.
