Variabilita somatestezie u souboru studentů fyzioterapie / Somatestezie variability in a group of physiotherapy students

Koudelková, Alena January 2008 (has links)
Dissertation "Variability of Somatesthesis in Students of Physiotherapy " deals with somatosensorical system in its theoretical part. In the practical part, sets of tests - aimed at somatesthesis function testing - are described. These tests are easy to implement and could be objectified. This pilot study was performed on a set of 29 Subjects aged 24 - 30. Selection criteria were set to physiotherapy studies and good health condition. The research ran on FN Motol physiotherapy clinics and lasted from October 2007 until January 2008. Measurements were repeated four times (in random day time), while the interval between examinations were randomly selected 1-12 days. The methodical part closely desribes measurement procedures and performance of each test. The first aim of this dissertation was to create a set of examination tests, concentrated on somatesthesis functions, which could be objectively measured. Further we set a target to find out, if sensomotorical learning effect appears by repeated measurement of same Subject and if quality of somatesthesis functions anyhow changes depending on internal environment status. Effect of Ankle and Foot joints mobilization on Stability improvement, analyzed by Computerized Dynamic Posturography. The aim of the study was to observe if joint mobilization of ankle and foot joints would improve the stability using the by Computerized Dynamic Posturography (neurocom) as a measurement tool. The methods that are used from the research are based on the knowledge which was obtained during the study of physiotherapy program at FTVS UK. All the participants are between the ages of 20 to 30 years, with no specific diagnose. All the 40 participants were being randomly divide into 2 groups. The control group and the experimental group, each group will have their Stability tested twice on the CPD (NeuroCom). The control group will be measured first, and after 20 minutes they will be measured again without any examination or therapeutic intervention. The experimental group was measured twice, first before the examination of joint play and the therapy, then the examination of joint play was done and any restricted joints were noted and treated, later, the participants were measured again for possible improvement. Joint play examination and therapy take about 20 minutes. Stability analyses take about 20 minutes too. The project doesn't include subjects with severe lower extremity injuries (eg,...

Strachotová, Hana January 2011 (has links)
Title: Influence of whole body vibration training on postural stability in selected sporting population Objectives: The aim of this study is to compare the influence of whole body vibration training on the stability of the human body and assessing the possibility of using this training method to improve postural stability in selected sporting population. Methods: 15 mainly beach volleyball players (athletes) were randomly assigned into two groups. Experimental group (n 8) in addition to their own training practiced twice a week on the Power Plate, while the control group (n 7) to continue the current practice of beach volleyball. The experimental group participated in a total of twelve units during the six-week exercise intervention. We reviewed the standard deviation and average values of COP displacements in the anteroposterior, mediolateral and overall direction of the COP path. For this purpose, we used pressure platform Footscan. Results: The results indicate a clear trend to improve postural stability at the beach volleyball player after a six-week intervention, whole body vibration training. Improvement was most noticeable in tests Flamengo (standing on one leg), in which the total COP path decreased for all probands at the right lower extremity and in six of the eight probands in the left...

Vliv charakteru zaměstnání na somatognostické funkce / Professional influence on somatognostic functions

Pelánová, Petra January 2017 (has links)
Objectives: This diploma thesis briefly summarizes the current knowledge about the neurophysiological and functional somatosensory influence of sedentary and non-sedentary occupations on the individual. The experimental part compares the quality of somatognostic functions in cohorts with sedentary occupations (SO) versus non-sedentary occupations (NSO). The NSO group positions and movements often alternate and static positions are not held for long periods. Methods: Both groups had the same number of probands. Ore-emptive questionnaires provided anamnestic data for each individual. Afterwards, somatosensory functions were assessed using six selected tests; 2 tests for upper extremity proprioception (UEP), 2 tests for lower extremity proprioception (LEP) and 2 tests for body size perception. Results: There was a significant difference in the results of the four tests measuring quality of proprioception of the upper and lower extremities. The NSO group showed more accurate results. In the UEP test measured in sitting posture, there was an average deviation 4,4ř in the SO group, and 3,1ř in the NSO group (p = 0,021). In the UEP test measured in standing posture, there was an average deviation 4.0 cm in the SO group, and 3,0 cm in the NSO group (p = 0.025). In the LEP test measured in standing posture,...

Ovlivnění vybraných aspektů pomocí kinesiotapu u problematiky plaveckého ramena / Affection of chosen aspects by using kinesiotape in swimmers shoulder

Laudová, Petra January 2019 (has links)
This research is focused on "swimmer's shoulder" and on affection of chosen aspects by kinesiotape. Theoretical part describes a summary of knowledge about origin, diagnostic and treatment of swimmer's shoulder. Kinesiotaping as a nowadays treatment method and its effects are also specified. The thesis provides a brief description of chosen aspects (pain, tactile acuity and proprioception) and their measuring by objectification methods. Practical part deals with measuring, evaluation and comparing of mentioned aspects before and after treatment by kinesiotape. Methods: 20 competitive swimmers (average age 18,3 years, SD ± 3,10) with shoulder pain were chosen for investigating and measuring. Pain was observed by visual analog scale (VAS) and pressure algometry, tactile acuity by esthesiomether and proprioception by a special method, all before and after treatment. A control group without kinesiotape was included to the research. Results: The experiment showed that tactile acuity was altered in patients with kinesiotape by 27,5 mm in average. This result was evaluated as statistically significant (p = 0,0023). Although values of pain measured by VAS and pressure algometry were enhanced, they were not very significant on the importace level 0,05 (p = 0,1540, resp. 0,1575). Proprioception was also...

Porovnání propriocepce kolenního kloubu u pacientů s osteoartrózou a totální endoprotézou kolenního kloubu / Comparison of knee joint proprioception in patients with osteoarthritis and total knee arthroplasty

Valerová, Eliška January 2014 (has links)
Osteoarthritis is a degenerative disease of joints, which can be solved with implantation of total joints prosthesis. A high-quality proprioception of knee joint protects the joint against possible bending injury, it is also participating in stabilizing the knee in static position and it is important in the process of coordination of the motion system and precise flexibility of the knee joint. In this thesis are summed up the knowledge of osteoarthritis, total joints prosthesis and proprioception, all is taken in context of connection. The research includes comparison of proprioception of knee joint with arthrosis and total joints prosthesis. Also, the research compared mentioned knee joints with the healthy verification group. All monitored individuals absolved a medical examination of the quality of proprioception in the form of move sensitivity in position of 30ř, 50ř and 80ř. Amongst the knees with arthrosis and knees with total joints prosthesis there were not found a differences with static importance in each of the angle test. In the total comparison there was significantly better proprioception of the knees with the total joints prosthesis. The knee joints of the verification group unlike the joints with arthrosis and total prosthesis showed significantly better flexibility in position of...

Bartošová, Simona January 2022 (has links)
Author: Bc. Simona Bartošová Title: Effect of sensomotoric insoles on postural stability in children with cerebral palsy Objectives: Objectively assess the effect of sensomotoric insoles on children with cerebral palsy (CP) via COP (Centre of Pressure) parameters recorded on Kistler force plate. Methods: This thesis is designed as an experimental study. Selected paramaters of static postural balance were recorded via force plate to assess the effect of sensomotoric insoles. Five subjects (average age 7.2 years) with diagnosis of cerebral palsy were enrolled into the study. Data collection was carried out in two separated sessions - first before therapy and second after using the insoles for one month. The validity of the data was supported by three repetitions for each modification - upright plain stand with open eyes, upright stand with feet together and upright plain stand with closed eyes. Monitored parameters were: total trajectory of COP, amplitude of mediolateral displacement of COP, amplitude of anteroposterior displacement of COP and mean velocity of movement of COP. The data were analyzed in MATLAB® version R2019b. The statistical analysis was performed including the outliers elimination. The normality of data was checked by Lilliefors' test. In the case of normality a two-sample Student's...

Vliv senzomotorické intervence na vnímání těla a kvalitu pohybu u muzikantů hrajících na smyčcové nástroje / The influence of sensorimotor intervention on body perception and quality of movement in string musicians.

Kutinová, Eliška January 2021 (has links)
Playing a musical instrument is a very beautiful, but very physically demanding craft. Many musicians suffer from musculoskeletal pain caused, among other things, by a rigid, unchanging posture and a focus on performance at the expense of comfort. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the influence of music production on the musculoskeletal system of the musician and the possibilities of therapy aimed at improving sensorimotor skills and kinesthesia. The practical part followed the influence of therapy inspired by the Feldenkrais method and Alexander's technique on the movement of the musician during and outside the performance. The research was conducted on 19 professional string musicians. Testing of probands consisted of measurements with inertial sensors, objective measurements of sensorimotor skills and kinesthesia and a questionnaire survey. The parameter measured by the inertial sensors was a jerk (indicates the smoothness of the movement). The results of the measurements show that, even after a single therapy, the smoothness of the chest movement improved statistically significantly.

Lokální změna vybraných parametrů somatestézie v reakci na strečink m.quadriceps femoris / Local changes of selected somatesthetic parameters in response to stretching m. quadriceps fenoris

Vaňková, Karolína January 2014 (has links)
Fascial tissues form a continuous whole-body three-dimensional network penetrating all parts of the human body. They include all fibrous connective tissue that significantly contributes both to themaintaining of the integrity of the organism and the functioning of body systems and the somesthetic perception. That is because of the facia is richly populated by proprioceptiveand mechanosensitive nociceptive nerve endings. Although the stretching is a routine method used in sports and rehabilitation, its exact mechanism of influence and effects on the body are not fully understood so far. Stretching exercises affect the mechanical state of the myofascial tissues and also the quality of the nociception and proprioception by alteration of their preload. There is evidence about some differences of the mechanical properties of the tissuesboth between thesexes and hypermobile individuals. The theses assesses the effect of static stretching m. QF on the somesthetic perception by measuring pressure pain threshold (PPT) using pressure algometry and the quality of propcioception bygoniometric measurement considering the interindividual variance in quality of the connective tissues. Our research includes testing of 29 healthy subjects (14 women and 15 men) and it has proved significant impact of the intervention on the...
