Posouzení vlivu konstituční hypermobility na posturální stabilitu / Assessing the influence of constitutional hypermobility on postural stability

Zadražilová, Tereza January 2008 (has links)
The thesis "Judging the influence of constitutional hypermobility on postural stability" focuses on the problem of constitutional hypermobility (CH) and the influence of joint instability on stability mechanisms. The aim of the research was to find out whether there is a difference in stability mechanisms with tested subjects with CH and without it. Furthermore, the research focuses on the influence of mobility techniques on postural stability by the means of chosen tests carried out on Balance Master® System platform. The tested sample includes 14 women aged from 20 to 28, 7 women with constitutional hypermobility and 7 women as a control group. 6 tests were chosen for the measurement on Balance Master® platform. 2 static tests: modified Clinical Test of Sensory Interaction on Balance (mCTSIB), Unilateral Stance (US), and 4 dynamic tests: Limits of Stability (LOS), Rhytmic weight shift (RWS), Step Up Over (SUO) a Forward Lunge (FL). We compared the medians of output values of individual tests. It was assumed that subjects with KH would have significantly worse test results than the control group. Furthermore, it was supposed that the mobilization processes cause stability disturbance on the basis of cancellation of compensational , thus protective block in comparison with KS. Vliv Feldenkraisovy metody na tělesné schéma / The effect of the Feldenkrais method on body schema

Bestová, Zuzana January 2012 (has links)
Bibliografic identification BESTOVÁ, Zuzana. The effect of The Feldenkrais method on body schema. Prague: Charles University in Prague, 2nd Faculty of Medicine, Department of rehabilitation and exercise medicine, 2012. 96 pages. Supervisor Mgr. Magdaléna Lepšíková. Abstract The diploma thesis deals with neurophysiological concept of body schema and evaluation of the effect of the Feldenkrais method (FM) on its quality. The research comprises two groups of probands without motor system disorders. The participants passed an investigation of the body schema quality by the following tests: a test of estimation of body dimensions (width of mouth, width of shoulders, width of hips and length of foot), a modification of Petrie's test, a test of proprioception and a test of graphestesia. The examination was accomplished before FM investigation and after the course. The first group (group A) comprised 13 individuals (5 males, 8 females) who participated in a semestral course of FM, the second group of probands (group B) included 17 individuals (3 males, 14 females) underwent a two days long FM program. A significant improvement (p = 0,0027) in the estimation of the length of foot was detected after FM intervention in group B. There was not a significant improvement in any of estimated body dimensions in group A....

Testování gnostické proprioceptivní modality / Testing of gnostic proprioceptive modality

Paříková, Zuzana January 2017 (has links)
Targets: The aim of the diploma thesis was to create the set of tests on proprioception processing with focus on kinesthesia, stereognosis, body image, vision-excluded space orientation and proprioceptive shape imagination acuity. The tests are supposed to be easy for practical utilization and enabling objective results gaining. In future, they could become a part of adults' dyspraxy testing. Further we intended to investigate possible relations between particular items of testing battery MABC-2 (Movement Assessment Battery for Children 2nd ) and the set of tests on proprioception. Participants: 35 healthy members took place in testing, 11 boys and 24 girls (13,1-15,7). Method: Participants first underwent testing according to the testing battery MABC-2 for the age group 11 - 16 years (AB 3) for screening into categories of development coordination disorder. Subsequently the testing of proprioceptive modality was performed, targeted on kinesthesia, stereognosis, body image, vision-excluded space orientation and on proprioceptive imagination of a shape. Data Analysis: Data analysis has been performed in the statistical environment R-project (version 3.4.0). Following statistic tools have been utilized: the Pearson's correlation coefficient and two- tailed unpaired t-test. Results: The relation of...
