Komoribidita poruch příjmu potravy a závislodti na alkoholu u žen: rizikové a preventivní faktory" / Co-morbidity of eating disorders and alcoholabuse among femal: risk and protective factors

Vycpálková, Veronika January 2015 (has links)
Background: Co-morbidity of eating disorders and alcohol use among women is a topical theme. Eating disorders can be seen as a disease of modern women and alcohol use as very frequent and tolerated by society. Co-morbidity of these disorders is not given enough attention. Aim: The theoretical part defines basic terms of eating disorders, alcohol abuse and their co-morbidity. In the practical part my goal was to identify the risk and protective factors, personal characteristics that were common for women suffering with co-morbidity and to outline the subjective perception of respondents regarding this issue. Methods and sample: Data were obtained by the method of a semistructured interview with five respondents - clients of the aftercare group for alcohol addicts. Two methods were used for the purpose of data analysis: qualitative type of an approach and a pattern (gestalt) recognition method. Results: The thesis described risk factors on the individual, familial and social level. It also described personal characteristics of respondents that overlapped with the risk factors. They can therefore be taken as risk factors on the individual level. Protective factors are mainly positive influence of peers, hobbies and awareness of one's value. Respondents and their subjective view on this issue point out...

Matoušková, Lenka January 2012 (has links)
MATOUŠKOVÁ, Lenka. Psychological Aspects of the Father-Daughter Relationship. Prague: The Faculty of Arts of Charles University, 2012. 259 pgs. The final thesis. The title of this work is "Psychological Aspects of Father-Daughter Relationship". In its theoretical part it summarizes mainly Czech, but also some foreign, contributions related to the topic of fatherhood, the specifics of paternal behavior and the importance of a functional father for the psychological development of girls. The issue is also viewed from the perspective of possible negative impacts on the psychological development of women who grew up without their fathers. The analysis is primarily focused on their problems with self- esteem, self-confidence and self-image, identity, emotions and emotional life but also on difficulties in future partner and intimate relationships. The theoretical part, with regard to the research, also discusses the concept of risk and protective factors. It respects the current trend of leaving aside pathogenic and shifting towards salutogenic factors, so it focuses mainly on mapping the protective factors in the psychological development of girls who grew up without their fathers while not excluding the risk factors. In the practical part, the topic is treated in qualitative way using retrospective...

Biomechanický model interakce ventilace a oběhu za podmínek umělé plicní ventilace / Biomechanical model of interaction between ventilation and hemodynamics induced by mechanical ventilation

Otáhal, Michal January 2019 (has links)
MUDr. Michal Otáhal Biomechanický model interakce oběhu a ventilace za podmínek UPV Abstract: Conventional mechanical ventilation provides gas exchange in conditions of respiratory failure by application positive airway pressure in the respiratory system. Due to the significant change in pressure conditions inside the thorax during conventional artificial ventilation the circulation can be significantly affected. Recruitment maneuver (RM) techniques can be a part of ventilation strategy in patients with the Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS), that are used to re-aerate collapsed parts of the lung parenchyma. During these RMs a significantly higher airway pressure is used than in protective ventilation strategy, which can limit the flow through the lung capillary network and can significantly affect the systemic hemodynamics of the patient. The aim of this work was to develop an optimized animation model of ARDS, then to compare the influence that has the application of different types of recruitment maneuvers on hemodynamics and to create a biomechanical simulation model of interaction and blood circulation and its verification with data obtained during the implementation of different types of RM in the experimental animal ARDS model. Results from the experimental animal model and simulations...

Vybrané psychologické aspekty posuzování nebezpečnosti pobytu pachatelů trestného činu na svobodě, rizika recidivy a možnosti resocializace / Selected psychological of dangerousness assessment of offenders being at liberty, recidivism risks and resocialization possibilities

Valentová, Petra January 2013 (has links)
An implementation of what is currently one of the most commonly used tools for high- risk assessment of offenders, HCR-20, the 3rd version - HCR (V3) to the Czech Republic is the main goal of the submitted thesis. Specifically, a theoretical background of this tool, an illustration of the administration and data evaluation within two different case studies, an assessment of inter-rater reliability, a comparison of three versions of HCR-20 with emphasis on the second and the third vision and advantages and disadvantages of HCR (V3) are introduced. This project underlines an importance of taking part in training for a high-risk assessment tool, which is very often underestimated in the Czech Republic, and the importance of gained experiences in high-risk assessment of offenders and the unification of assessors. Moreover, the study supports the implementation of standardised high-risk assessment method. The high-risk assessment of offenders ad hoc should be replaced in our country by clinical assessment supported by results gained via standardised high-risk assessment tool as it is applied abroad. Further research is needed to gain this goal. Empirical results in the thesis are supported by theoretical background. Terms like the high- risk assessment, re-offense, rehabilitation techniques and programs...
