The dissertation deals with the psychological training of swimmers from the Jihlava junior swimming club, who regularly take part in top swimming events. The theoretical part describes the mental processes in sport, personality traits, sport training, optimizing of psychophysiological conditions of performance, psychological training of swimmers. The research part searched the initial state of psychological readiness of the group and designed the intervention program, which was subsequently processed. Research participants neither were engaged in psychological training, nor had any information about it. Some of them suffer from pre-start nervousness and they reveal a high level of activation together with physiological manifestations that can affect the results of the race. The intervention program was designed so as to compensate these effects and to optimally tune, concentrate and motivate the swimmer. The knowledge of psychological training was improved and its importance was increased.

Results of the empirical research will be the base for the final recommendations.

The theoretical part of this diploma thesis focuses on defining psychohygiene. The principles of psychohygiene are presented, such as efficient use of time, healthy diet, sufficient exercise, etc. Furthermore, the term stress is defined and explained in more detail by stressors that can burden teachers in a kindergarten. The position of a teacher in a kindergarten, his personality and competences are scrutinized here. The practical part is focused on a qualitative research. Using the case study defined here, the workplace of a private kindergarten is examined in detail using an observation method. Another method in the research is a questionnaire for pedagogical staff in two branches of kindergartens and nurseries. Based on the findings, a conclusion is drawn regarding the psychohygiene of teachers. The aim of the work is to reveal the positives and negatives that affect teachers in this kindergarten and to find out how aware they are about psychohygiene. The research shows that the kindergarten supports employees in healthy eating, exercise, effectively planned working hours and in constantly possible communication with parents. The work of the personal assistant is a helping profession that belongs to the profession with a risk of a high level of stres, especially in long-term exposure to inappropriate working condition that can, in the end, developed into the burnout syndrom. In the theoretical part i define personal assistance, stress, coping strategies, resistance and burnout syndrome. The practical part is based on nine interviews with personal assitants, focused on stressors, coping strategies and conditions of their work in the organization, where they are employed. I found out personal assistants considered as the most important sources of stress children problematic behavior, communication with teachers and parents. Personal assistants are struggling in their work with feelings of helplessness, frustration from the childs stagnation, with feelings of guilt for childs problem behavior. In their work they are dealing with parents in mental discomfort and with problematic communication with teachers. The most used coping strategies of personal assistants are sense of usefulness and meaning of work, social support (information and support from parents of children, support of social workers of organization and supervision), relaxation, optimism, acceptance of situation, setting of borders, self- development. The thesis deals with contemporary possibilities of psychohygiene of professional nannies working in their clients' families, and all different aspects related to such work. The thesis comprises two parts, the theoretical and practical. The theoretical part covers explanations of terminology and phenomena focused on problematics of the essential requirements for work performance of professional nannies. The practical part consists of qualitative research exploring what nannies think of practisting psychohygiene within their profession as a whole. The research was conducted using semi-structured interviews with seven professional nannies currently working in their clients' families. The research findings show professional nannies are aware of benefits and effectiveness of psychohygiene. However, they perceive these as limited by different circumstances. Despite such limitations professional nannies always find a way to get motivated and overcome challenging situations. The more experienced they are, the easier everything at work becomes.
