Thema works: Comparison of physical demands of fifteens and sevens rugby Student: Jan Macháček Supervisor: Aleš Kaplan Aims: Outline the differences between rugby 7s and XVs based on a literature search. An analysis of the literature to find the terms that define the issue. Methodology: The method of literary research was used in the work, mainly from foreign sources. To meet the goal, concepts were chosen that helped to compile the idea of the structure of sports performance in rugby sevens and fifteens. Results: Over 250 electronic sources were acquired and researched as part of the fulfillment of the objectives of this work, based on the definitions of search keywords. All these sources were, with exceptions, in the English language. Of these, 60 articles covered men's sevens, 14 women's 7s, 68 men's and 7 women's XV, 32 youth rugby. Further 66 sources consisted of statistical yearbooks, periodization, talent identification articles, and coaching manuals. Three studies were identified, using a research method to compare aspects of different versions of rugby, but not in a systematic comprehensive form nor with the inclusion of both genders. Thesis Using of the Athletic Training in the Preparation of Women Rugby Player is the work determining the applicability of the athletic training to the training plan of women rugby players. The aim is to find out if it is possible to comprehensively increase the preparedness by using athletic conditional training.A partial goal is to create a specific six-week lasts training plan and use it in practise. The thesis theoretically explains the use of athletics in the training process, the structure of sports performance in rugby, the health aspects of rugby, the using of sports training in rugby, all conditional skills and diagnostics of sports performance. There is shown training intervention on the women's team of the selected rugby club and the results of the test battery determining the flexibility, explosive strength of the upper and lower limbs, agility and maximum aerobic capacity in the practical part. Problematika úrazů hráčů ragby v České republice / The issue of players' rugby injuries in the Czech Republic

Title: The issue of players' rugby injuries in the Czech Republic. Objective: The main objective of this thesis is to map the kinds of rugby players' injuries, who play the highest competition in the Czech Republic. It also determine the frequency of various injuries, duration of treatment and the search for connections with the players position on the field, injuries and game situations. Method: Information was obtained by nonstandardized questionnaire survey of rugby players by all new eight (previously ten) extra league senior teams in the Czech Republic. A total of 133 questionnaires were analyzed. For the analysis of the data obtained was used software Microsoft Excel 2007. Results: In extraleague of rugby in the Czech Republic was the most injury lacerations (24.2%), followed by ligament injuries (19.8%), dislocations (18.7%), injuries of the head/brain (12.6 %) and other (4.5%). Players of scrum most suffered lacerations, but attackers and scrumhalves/flyhalves injury of the head/brain. The overall average duration of treatment was 6.6 weeks. According to various positions: attackers 8 weeks, players of scrum 6.1 weeks and scrumhalf/flyhalf 5.4 weeks. The most injuries occur during defensive tackling (43%) and attacking (31%). Title: Influence of Rugby World Cup and Summer Olympic Games on the awarness of FTVS students about rugby Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is detection, if big sport rugby events had any influence on awareness of rugby for students of Faculty of physical education and sport. Concretely, if the knowledge about Rugby World Cup and rugby tournament at Summer Olympic Games increased. And then, if their knowledge about rugby rules, world rugby, Czech rugby and women's rugby increased. Methods: I used the methods of quantitative research in ma thesis. I created two electronic questionnaire through the web site Vyplnto.cz. One of the questionaire I distributed in 2015 (before the Rugby World Cup) and the second questionnaire I posted in 2016 after the Summer Olympic Games. Results: The results of research demonstrated the impact of the big rugby events. The awareness of students about rugby increased. Their basic knowledge about world rugby and rugby rules increased. Title: Suggestions for the organization of rugby competitions in the Czech Republic Objectives: The objective of the thesis is to create proposals for improving the system of organizing male rugby competitions in the Czech Republic. Methods: To obtain the necessary information about Czech rugby competitions, a quantitative, specifically an in-depth interview method was used. The Number of Winning Titles, Top Team Identification and Percentage of Points were used to determine the level of competition. Another method used in the work is the performance ranking, created on the basis of already existing rankings, partially modified. Results: The research has shown that adjusting the system for organizing rugby competitions in the Czech Republic is suitable. The proposed changes include, in particular, the introduction of open competitions and increasing the number of matches played during the season. Subsequently, some proposals were made to make the system of organizing rugby competitions more efficient in the Czech Republic. Autor: Marek Zámečník Title: Evaluation of the dynamic postural stability of extraleague players of Czech rugby Objective: The aim of this work is to evaluate the dynamic postural stability of extraleague players of Czech rugby and to compare its quality with the common population, occasional athletes and non-rugby players. Methods: Measurements will be performed on the NeuroCom® EquiTest® device, which I had available at the Kinesiology laboratory at the UK FTVS. There was tested 20 subjects divided into 2 groups by 10 people. First group of rugby players and the second group of non-rugby players. The age of all subjects ranges from 20 to 35 years. Results: There are no statistically significant differences in measured values. Most of the mean values of all stability tests (SOT, MCT, HS-SOT) have shown that rugby have a reduced ability to provide dynamic postural stability. Average scores for visual acuity testing have shown poor results in rugby, which may be caused by frequent injuries of head, face and eyes. Porovnání výskytu zranění v ženském Českém ragby se státy v zahraničí / Comparison of Injury Occurrence in Czech Rugby Women with Countries Abroad

Title: Comparison of occurence injuries in Czech women ragby with foreign states Objective: Objective of my thesis is comparison of occurrence injuries in Czech women rugby with selected foreign states. Further it focus on individual types of injuries by post on the pitch, its causes and on the various preventive measures that can preclude its occurence. Method: For the research it was used method of non-standardized questionnaire with closed and semi-closed questions. The questionnaire was managed in English language on server (survio.com.) and was sended to women teams in six foreign states. Total was answered 73 questionnares. For the analysis of the data obtained was used software Microsoft Excel 2016. Results: The results showed that in the teams in the selected foreign states the most occur ligament injuries (26%), followed by dislocations (20%), fractures (18%), concussions of brain (16%), injury lacerations (15%) and other serious injuries (5%). Of the total number of injuries (51%) feel on attackers and (49%) on the players of scrum. The most injuries occur during defensive tackling (64%) and attacking (29%). Title: Objectification and degree of association between indicators of game load and movement assumptions in elite rugby players Objectives: The aim was to objectify and measure the association between selected indicators of game load and selected movement assumptions in elite rugby players and measure the association between selected results of different fitness tests. Methods: The research group consisted of 31 players of the Czech rugby team of the senior category. Data were acquired using GPSports. The results from fitness testing provided by the Czech Rugby Union were used as indicators of movement assumptions. In total, three matches were measured. During the individual matches, the total distance covered was measured, the distance covered in individual speed zones (1st zone 0.0-1.8 km/h, 2nd zone 1.8-6.1 km/h, 3rd zone 6, 1-13.0 km/h, 4th zone 13.0-18.0 km/h, 5th zone 18.0-24.1 km/h, zone 6th >24.1 km/h), number of inputs to individual acceleration and deceleration zones (1st zone 1.2- 2.4 m/s/s, 2nd zone 2.4-3.6 m/s/s, 3rd zone 3.6-4.8 m/s/s). Results: The results of the work contain data that are unparalleled in Czech conditions.
