The aim of the present thesis is to compare the companies MIPEXA s.r.o. and ČKD Nové Energo a.s. from the perspective of financial analysis based on available data from 2006 to 2009. The thesis consists of two parts: theoretical and practical. In the first part, I describe financial analysis, namely its development, purpose, process, calculation of individual indicators and their informative values. In the practical part, based on calculated indicators, I attempt to compare and evaluate the development of the companies MIPEXA s.r.o. and ČKD Nové Energo a.s. and their reactions to external events. Both companies conduct business in the same field and have their headquarters in the Czech Republic; they differ in size and their financial possibilities.

This diploma thesis will create and evaluate strategy of Lázně Aurora (A Limited Liability Company). Based on the analysis of external and internal environment, some synthesis of findings will be performed consequently, which will lead into creation of proposed strategy. Therefore, the aim of the thesis is to generate the best possible strategy for the company.

The aim of this thesis is to describe the efficiency of the company and its increase through innovative techniques, together with the description of different types of innovations. In the next step, the analysis of innovative techniques in an enterprise is presented. Author of this thesis have chosen a company XY for my work this company´s management doesn´t want its name to be used in this work. While analysing the innovation activities of the company, author focused on the e-shop, which is a significant income activity of the company. The innovation in this case is of marketing type, there is a gradual development and expansion of the e-shop as a result, the company gets into the wider public consciousness. The result of the data analysis, costs of the internet store and the generated sales, is a significant growth in the volume of orders and more than doubling sales and profit over the reporting period. The benefit of this thesis is the evaluation of important business activities and the recommendation for its further develop-ment.

Diplomová práce Podnikatelský plán EasyMedia s.r.o. si dala za cíl popsat metodiku tvorby podnikatelského plánu, podle ní posléze konkrétní podnikatelský plán sestavit a na základě výsledků v podnikatelském plánu prezentovaných rozhodnout o smysluplnosti realizace projektu EasyMedia s.r.o. Popis metodiky informuje o postupech doporučovaných odbornou literaturou. Analytická část práce studuje potenciální projekt z hlediska postavení na trhu, konkurenčních výhod, ziskovosti apod.

This master´s thesis suggests a business plan for further progress of an existing company “i-Studio Ltd”. It is looking at opportunities in already operating branch. It is trying to suggest a project which would lead to better profitability, expenditure and stabilizing of current market share and also strengthen the company name. The aim of thesis therefore is, on the base of an analysis, to propose such a project, where previous results and experiences are going to be used, to make competitiveness and further progress of the company better.

The subject of this diploma thesis is to find out an influence of financial leverage on Czech banking market´s efficiency. In the introductory part of this paper there are described variables used in this thesis and literature review of mostly foreign studies. In the second and third part there is a development analysis of chosen variables followed by regression analysis in order to determine an influence in between chosen variables. Finally there is evaluation of the obtained results.

This thesis focuses on indentification of financial analysis indicators of small firms. These indicators should help investors to use growth investing method within their first pick stocks. Discussed indicators are from capital market, rentability, indebtedness and liquidity areas. The resulting values of these indicators are interpreted accordingly to the strategy of the company. That helps to identify the company's strengths and weeknesses. This thesis contains of basic theoretical knowledge of growth investing and specifics of small companies. It also comprises of results of older empirical studies in which growth and value investing was compared. The growth investing methods by Jime Slater. There were used 14 historically significantly above average growing companies registred in NASDAQ for the purpose of analysis.
