The Master thesis is focused on the analysis of national or global influence of the McDonaldization at specific restaurants called Potrefená Husa Hybernská. The thesis consists of a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with basic concepts related to the globalization, McDonaldization, locality, franchising and development of restaurants in the Czech Republic. The practical part includes a profile of the Potrefená Husa Hybernská. The questionnaire is based on this restaurant. The goal of the survey is how much contributes the McDonaldization of food to manifestations of globalization in the food industry and how much allows to retain certain national elements in the eating. Based on the surfy results will be in the final part presented recommendations for possible changes.

This master thesis deals with interior design of the chateau restaurant in Kroměříž. The design is based on investor's requirements and also on general principles of interior design. The creative concept is inspired by the building itself and its historical rooms. The thesis contains a design of an atypical furniture unit -- a bar counter, including its technical drawings and a preliminary calculation of its material cost.

The main aim of this thesis is to analyse restaurants in Prague which offer special dishes for people who suffer from celiac disease. Theoretical part consists of definition and history of celiac disease, symptoms of celiac disease etc. One of the aims of the practical part is to create a free city map with marked restaurants suitable for people who suffer from celiac disease. The author conducted a survey among tourists whether they would appreciate this kind of map.

Vendula Běláčková Pages: 83 The name of the thesis: EFFECT OF PARTIAL PROHIBITION ON RESTAURANTS FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF EMPLOYEES: A QUALITATIVE INVESTIGATION This thesis deals with how the prohibition reflected in the attitudes and behavior of employees and the behavior of consumers in restaurants and bars. The theoretical part is focused on the main substances alcohol and methanol, next on the related topics methanol cases and related facts in criminology. Another chapter is aimed at the prohibition in the country. The research was carried out through qualitative methods of data collection, which was formulated in the form of interviews, which were designed according to the draft of the questionnaire. This research was anonymous, respondents were informed of the ethical rules and the possibility of withdrawing from the research file.
