The thesis analyzes version control system Subversion and its available backends for storing data in a repository. It compares these backends and describes basic features of a new SQL database backend. Design and implementation of the new backend, based on MySQL database, is described and the new backend is then compared with existing backends BDB and FSFS.

This thesis deals with the revision of archaeological research at Stará Kou im. This locality was excavated between 1948 and 1957 by M. Šolle. Sixty years after the end of the Stará Kou im research, some conclusions need to be reinterpreted. The paper was mainly focused on the revision of the middle fortifications research and brought new, unpublished results. The presented master's thesis is concerned with the topic of the revised version of Bloom's taxonomy and its implementation to second language teaching with regards to its higher levels through the use of different activating methods of teaching. The aim of this thesis is to, with the support of academic literature, consider the role of the activating methods in language teaching and their potential relationship to the revised taxonomy. Based on these findings it is later aimed to present suggestions applicable in practice about how to combine these two instruments with regards to Spanish language teaching. The thesis includes a research done through a questionnaire which aims to map the teachers' knowledge of the activating teaching methods and the potential means of using them while teaching.

The point of that experiment was checking on status of selected areas with appearance of Dactylorhiza majalis and Dactylorhiza fuchsii around České Budějovice in south Bohemia. On 4 areas there were finding of biometric charakteristics always 40 selected plants and theirs mutual correlation in fact of more detailed knowing of status of individual population those kinds in particular area. There was always completed also phytocoenotic characteristics of the area. The graduation theses also includes updated information about few others tenths of areas of different kinds of orchids in České Budějovice and Český Krumlov area. Part of the experiment is map display of areas of the orchids. In map there are picture only areas with GPS not others.

A taxonomic revision of the bothriocephalid tapeworms from the lizardfishes of the genus Saurida, based on the morphology and biometry, was carried out. A new material from four species of lizardfishes from Indonesia was examined and compared with literature and available type material. Results indicate only 2 species valid (Oncodiscus sauridae Yamaguti, 1934; Penetrocephalus ganapattii (Rao, 1954) Rao 1960).

Keywords Christa Wolf, myth, mythology, myth revision, Cassandra, Medea, social functions of literature Abstract The subject of this thesis is the incorporation of ancient mythology in the story Cassandra and in the novel Medea: A Modern Retelling by Christa Wolf with the backdrop of the author's own understanding of the function of literature. The first part of the work contains a theoretical introduction to the topic of myths and mythology and presents the most important theories about myths and their incorporation in literature. The subsequent part of the work focuses on the understanding of a myth and its function as used by Christa Wolf. The core of this work is an analysis of the literary incorporation of mythological substance in the writings specified above and a comparison with the incorporation of such substance in the works of ancient authors Aeschylus and Euripides, with the aim of showing through what means and what intentions the author has updated and revised the myth. This part of the work also includes an analysis of the poetological concept of Christa Wolf and the related social functions of literature and the author's role.

This diploma thesis deals with the repair of a steam backpressure single-stage turbine. This thesis is assigned to a specific Spilling turbine case. A revisional report of this turbine with repair or exchange suggestions of demaged turbine parts is processed. In addition, a simulation of the contact pressure is carried out on the split plane of the housing. Structural modifications are designed and simulated to increase the parting plane's tightness. Further, the calculation of the tightening torque of the split plane is performed and a control thermodynamic and strength calculation of the labyrinth seals is performed.

This thesis solves the problem of a life cycle of a document and its management in a larger organization. It describes demands of companies on document management informating systems. It compares various tools for document desciption, analyzes the requirements and offers a project and implementation of the solution itself.

The aim of this master thesis is the retrofit of a condensing steam turbine. The thesis obtains a revision of the steam turbine, the reconstruction of steam turbine blades and the basic calculation of bolt torques of the turbine split plane. The master thesis is assigned to a specific retrofit of the steam turbine Lang. In the introductory part the thesis is focused on the turbine description and the basic functions of selected turbine components. The following part deals with the revision and the proposal of repairs for all components and the recommendation of additional modernizations of specific measuring equipments. The analysis of anchoring the stator and rotor blading and their reconstruction is discussed in the next part. In the last part the thesis focuses on the sealing of the turbine split plane and the calculation of the various bolt torques closely linked to the sealing.

The main purpose of this master's thesis is to create language version tools for web Portal of BUT. There are possibilities of applications using databases or without them. The next part of the thesis analyses current situation of the web Portal of BUT. I described individually servers, tools and mainly solution ensuring multilingual sites. Thereinafter I attend to design and implementation of required system. This system consists of some single scripts and web applications for web developers and translators. Finally I will describe the procedure of integration of this system to current web Portal of BUT.
