Saturace koní jodem v Jižních Čechách

SLAVÍKOVÁ, Sofia January 2019 (has links)
The main aim of this thesis was to evaluate the current state of iodine levels in horses from selected farms in South Bohemia. Out of the sample group, no animal with iodine deficiency was detected. Additional objective of this thesis was to assess whether selected horse owners supplement their horses with iodine and what form of supplementation they choose.

Determinace velikosti rodiny bobra pomocí fotopastí / Determination of family size of beavers by camera-traps

Pivrnec, Ondřej January 2017 (has links)
This diploma thesis concerns the methodology and subsequent analysis of the quantity of European beaver (Castor fiber) inside a beaver family. These data were collected by using camera-traps. Collection was conducted from August 2015 to August 2016 in two areas. The first area was the Czech forest and the second area was Šumava. In these areas is a different degree of saturation of the beaver population. The main objective of this study was to estimate the average size of a beaver family in two model areas using camera-traps. Suitable areas were Czech Forest and Šumava. Secondary objective was to design and test methodology and application of the camera-traps and design a way to evaluate data from the captured images.

In vitro saturační studie 99mTc-HYNIC-ramucirumabu na PC-3 buňkách / In vitro saturation study of 99mTc-HYNIC-ramucirumab on PC-3 cell line

Lach, František January 2018 (has links)
v anglickom jazyku Charles University in Prague Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Biophysics and Physical Chemistry Student: František Lach Supervisor: Mgr. Pavel Bárta, PhD Consultant: Mgr. Lucie Hyršová Title of diploma thesis: In vitro saturation study of 99m Tc-HYNIC-ramucirumab on PC-3 cell line The number of malignant tumours in the population has increased in recent years. Due to the frequent serious sides effects of chemotherapeutic drugs on the whole organism, targeted antitumor therapy is at the forefront. Due to its specific effect on the regulatory and signal pathways of protein structures, monoclonal antibodies are used for the target anti-tumour therapy. The basic properties of the growing tumour include vasculogenesis (the ability to build new blood vessels from the endothelial precursors) and angiogenesis (the process of self-inducing formation of blood vessels). Endothelial tumour progenitors include vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF). VEGF activates its biological activity by binding to its transmembrane tyrosine-kinase receptors VEGFR. Indeed, the inhibition of the vascular endothelial factor receptors is the target of some monoclonal antibodies. Ramucirumab is a monoclonal antibody that selectively inhibits VEGF receptor type 2 (VEGFR-2) and thereby...

Nymburský cukrovar pod vedením Hanuše Karlíka / Nymburk sugar factory under the management of Hanuš Karlík

Fexová, Lucie January 2018 (has links)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to restore awareness of the Czech sugar industry tradition. For this intention I chose Nymburk sugar factory in an era, when one of the most important personas of Czech sugar industry Hanuš Karlík was its director. The thesis consists of a brief introduction to the history of Czech sugar industry, where the establishment of Nymburk sugar factory is set, followed by a description of the period when Hanuš Karlík was the director and how his administration influenced both Nymburk sugar factory and sugar industry in general. In the conclusion, there is a view on the sugar factory after Karlík left and the fate of the sugar factory that led to an infamous end. The work is primarly based on local archival sources, memoirs and newspappers. Several books about the history of Nymburk and about common history of sugar industry are used to set the topic in a wider historical context.

In vitro saturační studie 99mTc-HYNIC-ramucirumabu na SKOV3 buňkách / In vitro saturation study of 99mTc-HYNIC-ramucirumab on SKOV3 cell line

Klimová, Juliána January 2018 (has links)
v anglickom jazyku Charles University in Prague Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Biophysics and Physical Chemistry Student: Juliána Klimová Supervisor: Mgr. Pavel Bárta, Ph.D. Name of the work: In vitro saturation study of 99m Tc-HYNIC-ramucirumab on SKOV3 cell line. The passive immunotherapy is based on the use of already active immune system components (monoclonal antibodies), which play an important role in cancer cells elimination in the organism. The active immunotherapy tries to stimulate an active anticancer response via an appropriate form of an immunization. When monoclonal antibodies bind to cancer cells, those cells become a selected target for the following removal. The enhancement of the anti- cancer affect of monoclonal antibodies is possible due to the attachment of therapeutic agents like cytostatics, toxins and radionuclides. This presented master thesis is focused on the radiolabeling of the monoclonal antibody ramucirumab, which is directed against the vascular endothelial growth factor type 2 (VEGFR 2), which is often present in cells of some types of cancerous diseases. Within the experimental work, at first, there was a conjugation of chelating agent succinimidyl-6-hydrazino-nicotinamide (HYNIC) on the monoclonal antibody. After this step, radionuclide 99m...

Řezáč, Jan January 2012 (has links)
The subject of my thesis was traffic-engineering solution to the crossroads of the streets Osvobození - Podřevnická in several options. For these options were designed needed construction adjustment next was selected one option and after taht was carried out capacity assessment of the crossroads in accordance with relevant technical regulations. To verify the capacity assessment was carried out simulations using the proposed variants Aimsun.

Vliv saunování na změny krevního tlaku / The effect of sauna on the changes of blood pressure

Benko, Michal January 2015 (has links)
Title: The effect of sauna on the changes of blood pressure Objectives: The aim of this study was the measure of the physiological range (blood pressure, heart rate, blood oxygen saturation) of two selected groups of people within the sauna cycle, assess changes and compare the results of individual probands and groups. Methods: This thesis is conducted as an experimental study. This is a quantitative method, in that will be at first established hypotheses and then evaluated on the basis of the obtained results. The independent variable in this research is the sauna and dependent variables are blood pressure, heart rate and blood oxygen saturation. Results: Blood pressure values were at employee of sauna lower than at other probands, thereby was confirmed hypothesis, but expected significant differences between the measured values of each group were absent. At the same time there was a further confirmation of the hypothesis concerning heart rate, which was increased at all probands. The last confirmed hypothesis related to the blood oxygen saturation and its reduce after the sauna. It could be said that all the defined hypotheses were confirmed. Keywords: sauna, blood pressure, heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, cardiovascular system
