Transportation is a sector that is currently experiencing a great deal of development. Project realization and subsequent operations on a newly built structures may impact various parts of environment.
This thesis is inspecting the post-project analysis of the Vamberk motorway bypass. It is focused mainly on the comparison of the EIA pre-project impact predictions and the actual post-project aftermaths.
The objective is to examine the EIA process and the assessment of the EIA documentation. Furthermore, the road situation of the Vamberk is evaluated based on the traffic intensity data.
The first part of this thesis explains the general concepts associated with the aforementioned issue. The second part describes the characteristics of the examided area - Vamberk and sorroundings. Finally, the process of post-project analysis is described in the methodical section. This section describes the process used in EIA documentation assessment, means by which EIA-based condition performance is evaluated and lastly it presents the statements of subjects involved.
Gathered data were compiled into a generalized methodical recommendations for use in further post-project analyses, as no uniform framework for this purpose exists

This thesis on "Evaluation of traffic technical solution and conditions of road II. class No. 635 in the section Loštice--Litovel" is an assessment of selected road section in terms of the technical condition of the road and road structures and in terms of traffic conditions. The main objective of this work is to create a technical evaluation of the selected transport road section and if they found shortcomings then suggest corrective measures. The theoretical part presents the basic literary overview of solved problems, history of the selected road section and presents a selected section of the route. The practical part is divided into technical and transport assessment. Technical evaluation includes assessment of road conditions and road facilities. Traffic assessment includes evaluation of traffic accidents and intersections.

Cévnaté rostliny okolí cest v CHKO Jizerské hory – jaký vliv má nadmořská výška a kontaktní biotopy na jejich rozšíření? / Vascular plants along the roads in the Jizerské hory Mts – the effect of altitude and contact habitatTitěra, Jan January 2016 (has links)
The aim of the diploma thesis was to map the incidence of vascular plants along the various categories of roads and crossroads at different altitudes and in different contact habitats (forests × meadow) and identify invasive species. The species were mapped to a total of 120 sites, including 45 sites accounted for forest roads, 40 sites meadow paths and 35 sites forest crossroads. There were found 3 strongly endangered species and 5 endangered species. From the total non-native species was found a large proportion of naturalized and invasive species that could potentially threaten natural communities. DCCA analysis was found that the species composition invasive plant reacts to the individually environmental variables statistically significant. It was also found large share of competitive strategies, and a small share of stress-tolerant strategists. Furthermore, it was found that the species composition of the flora responds to altitude statistically highly significant. DCA analysis was found affiliation species to categories of roads and crossroads, level of traffic and to contact habitats. Furthermore was used CCA analysis. It was found that the species composition of the plant reacts to the presence of trees present in the surrounding vegetation statistically highly significant. Part of the work has also been gathering literature data about the relationship between flora and roads, vectors of spread plants and alien species and flora of roads in Jizera mountains. The results were compared with other works, and complemented by own knowledge of the author, in the discussion. Contribution of work consists in mapping the flora of roads and crossroads in many locations in Jizera mountains, botanical supplement data and the identification of potentially invasive species expanding along the roads. The results of this study should serve as a basis for preventive or protectionist measures implemented in Jizera mountains.

The goal of the diploma thesis is to design and to assess a solution of a northern bypass of the road I/23, which will divert a transit traffic from Rosice. The town is situated approximately 25 kilometers west of Brno, in the South Moravian region. Three variants are worked out. The variant A and the variant B connects smoothly with a bypass of a neighboring village Zastávka. The variant A then copied a route designed in a local development plan and goes through a built-up part of the town Rosice in the area of the street Na Mýtě. The variant B is designed to avoid passage through this area and bypasses Rosice in north, behind a housing estate Kamínky. The variant C is designed in case an absence of a bypass of the village Zastávka. It connects with existing road I/23 in the village Zastávka in the area of an intersection of streets Lipová – Stará osada. The goal of the bypass is to divert the current transit traffic from Rosice

This dissertation addresses the possibility of using the 2+1 road arrangement in the Czech Republic. Given that there is no such 2+1 segment in the Czech Republic, it was necessary to find sections with similar characteristics, evaluate and measure the rate of accidents as well as sectional velocity. The accident rate was evaluated on 72 sections and based on this research the optimal length of 2+1 arrangement road sections was determined. Digital image analysis and license plate recognition was used to evaluate the sectional velocity. Eight selected sections was subjected to the additional sectional velocity measurement, which showed improvement in passenger vehicles travel time. Traffic model microsimulations were performed after the data analysis. 2+1 arrangement roads are suitable solution for increasing travel speeds on sections where building of four-lane road is not economically viable.
