Denna studie handlar om begreppet anställningsbarhet utifrån lärare och yrkesverksamma i bageribranschen. I och med införandet av den nya läroplanen Gy11 ändrades yrkesutbildningarna från att vara yrkesförberedande till att eleverna nu efter avslutat gymnasieutbildning skall vara anställningsbara. Anställningsbarhet är ett vitt begrepp och betydelsen ändrar sig beroende av vem som använder sig av det. Frågan är om tolkningarna är olika i bransch och skola och att man därför inte kan uppnå Gy 11:s mål med anställningsbarhet? För att undersöka om det finns en samsyn på begreppet intervjuades sex lärare inom restaurang och livsmedelsprogrammet samt sex representanter från branschen. De har alla lämnat sina åsikter om anställningsbarhet via kvalitativa intervjuer och dessa har sedan sammanställts till ett resultat. Resultatet visade en samstämmighet över vad de ansåg vara viktigast för anställningsbarheten, vilket var grundkunskaperna i yrket. / With the introduction of the new curriculum Gy11 VET, vocational education and training changed from being a vocational. Now the focus is to make the students employable after completion of secondary education. Employability is a broad term and the meaning changes depending on who uses it. The question is whether the interpretations are different in the industry and in the schools and that it therefore cannot achieve Gy 11's goal of employability? To investigate whether there is consensus on the concept I interviewed six teachers in the restaurant and food program, and six representatives from the industry. They have all left their opinions on employability through qualitative interviews and these were compiled into a result. The results showed a consensus over what they considered most important for employability, which was the basic skills in the profession.
