Through precise sunpath alignments and the interplay of light and shadow, the design draws on the natural rhythms of the solstices and equinoxes to guide visitors on a journey of introspection and renewal. Key architectural elements, such as the 32 memorial columns representing the victims of the Virginia Tech tragedy, symbolize resilience and transcendence. The use of natural materials, filtered light, and sacred geometry enhances the space's meditative qualities, inviting a deeper connection to both the self and the surrounding environment.
