11	Most u obce Staré Hobzí / Bridge at Staré Hobzí village Škůrek, Ladislav January 2017 (has links) Diploma thesis is focused on design of the road bridge across the river Moravská Dyje, close the village Stare Hobzí. The are designed 3 studies of the bridge, of wich the trapezoidal slabroad with pitches is chosen for further development. Slabroad is assessed at ultimate limit state and serviceability by the valid standarts. Calculation of internal forces is made by computer program Scia Engineer 16.0.
12	Návrh přemostění komunikace / Design of the bridge structure across the street Váša, Jiří January 2019 (has links) The diploma thesis deals with the design of the motorway bridge over the II / 464 road between Butovice-Bílovec. For the bridging design four variants were made, from which a variant of the slab with longitudinal extensions was selected for further processing. The design assessment was performed for the ultimate limit state and serviceability limit state according to valid standards. Determination of internal forces was performed on the model developed in Scia Engineer 18.0.

Length of the structure is 170 meters. Main structure is four spans prestressed beam. The length of fields is 36+48+48+36 meters. The structure is examined in all phases of construction, including the operating phase according to valid standards.
14	Lávka přes Labe / Footbridge across the Labe Krč, Rostislav January 2017 (has links) The thesis focuses on design of prestressed concrete footbridge which passes pedestrian and bicycle path over the Elbe river near city of Celakovice in the Czech Republic. Three different bridge options were analyzed and for further development a cable-stayed footbridge was chosen. Its bridge deck is formed of a box girder supported by cables in its vertical axis and all cable stays are anchored into two concrete A-shaped pylons. This structure was analyzed in SCIA Engineer and assessment of serviceability limit states and ultimate limit states according to recent European standards (Eurocodes) was made. Both the global structural behavior and the local structural integrity of box cross-section were assessed as well as construction stages and cross-sections of pylons and cable stays. Assessments were performed in IDEA StatiCa combined with hand calculations. Eventually a dynamic response of structure was analyzed. Natural modes and frequencies were found and forced oscillation response was evaluated. The thesis includes technical drawings, construction process and visualization.
15	Managing teaching and learning in multi-graded classrooms in Thabo Mofutsanyana Education District, Free State Msimanga, Mothofela Richard 11 1900 (has links) Managing teaching and learning in multi-graded classrooms in Thabo Mofutsanyana Education District, Free State is a study undertaken to determine how teachers manage teaching and learning in multi-grade classrooms. A qualitative research design has been used. Literature review explored the origins of multi-grade teaching, its advantages and disadvantages, teaching and learning in multi-grade classrooms, the use of resources, difficulties faced by teachers teaching in multi-grade classrooms and overcoming these difficulties. Data revealed that teachers struggle to manage teaching and learning in multi-grade classrooms because they use curriculum policy documents which are meant for mono-grade classrooms. Teachers are overloaded with work. Peer tutoring, self-directed learning and cooperative learning help teachers to manage teaching and learning. Based on the findings, recommendations were made to the teachers, PED and DBE.
